The man is lying in order to clean up his image, so I don’t know what’s so good about this interview. I feel he was being given a platform to disassociate himself and portray himself as a victim . What about all that dishing of state funds as loans which were later converted to grants while the majority was suffering.

I love your work Mr Ncube. This was a great conversation. Dr Gono has definitely been a central figure in the corridors of power in our political space. I do have apprehension and reservation about the argument he poses on the matter of moralising wanton and reckless creation of money resulting in the unprecedented inflation we experienced in 2008. We may have saved some lives and kept the dead body count low but it done more harm than good in the long run. We live now with the after effects of his legacy. The money growth I believe really was and is a pyrrhic victory.

The comments here show that Africans are fooled by good speakers that s why Mugabe ruled for 37 years. Judge a man by his results he left the economic system in tatters but still claims he saved the country. Even if there was no govt or economic managers the country can still survive . Somalia and parts of DRC where there have been no govts but people survive. What happened before colonialism was there any central economy, international aid .The country can survive even without governments actually governments are the main sources of our troubles. He is deluded to think that he saved a society that has survived for centuries. Even during the colonial era more than 80% of the population operated outside the main economy. So how did he say the society. His policies actually killed thousands of people. You did not save the country if Zimbabwe was the new Libya eventually things would have been better who knows. Libyan problems quite different from Zimbabwe's .Typical African who never admits he was wrong when actually he is now a good example of a bad reserve bank governor the world over.all the problems is because of someone else except himself.

You can say that again. But problem squarely lies with Zimbabweans. You can build a country you call your own or get manipulated in a game of riches aquisition by conmen posing as representatives of Zimbabweans' interests. You will insult each other like this chap who said Makaranga uzakhunya. You will subdivide yourselves into little tribal groups. All that saves to cement Zanu-PF grip on power to make themselves richer whilst you languish in your tribal discourse. If name-calling brings Roller Meal in your kitchens then continue, maybe you can reap your desired results.
Till you stupid Zims realize its 20th century then good luck in your dreams. You have a choice to select the future or the past. Not very sure if you can change the past but I am sure you can map the future you need for your children.

Between 2018-2019, I have the opportunity to work with Dr. Gono. This is a side that I had not been fully aware. I must confess this is one of the more interesting interviews in Zimbabwe and with Zimbabweans that is very captivating. Well done Trevor.

well done Trevor. This was my first time to watch this show, particularly because of this controversial guest. But I would like to say, I have never felt so bad for hating someone. i now see Gono in a different light now. Maybe it is because he is speaking from outside but In my opinion he has most of our answers to our current circumstances. Thank you once again Trevor.

Its only our political differences which needs to be set aside and Focus on the Economy. Keep up the good work you are doing. My challenge to you Sir, may you invite someone from the gvnt eg Nick to your programme. Lets here their view like GG is airing his view. 🤞👏

There are so many bright minds in Zim but once they become ZanuPF they become empty heads. Look at Mthuli Ncube. You start wondering if they went to school at all.I believe education is an asset that no one can take away from you, so I don’t understand why highly educated men become politically involved and they get pulled by the nose by the likes of Grace Mugabe who didn’t even have A levels. Shame!
