After nearly a year of having stopped watching your shows ,I couldn't resist the temptation of listening to the wise words of the Professor. Sincere ,patriotic and practical person he is. The fact that he applaud Chamisa for surviving the worst attacks on a party is really commendable.
I thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. Thanks, Trevor for bringing Prof Mutambara, I love how he has matured from being a student activist into a well-rounded leader. He is an articulate, sharp intellect, reflective and has vast memory, and is well versed in Zimbabwe's past, present, and future issues.
One of the best interviews. Thank you for the platform, we learn a lot from these interviews. Professor Mutambara, one of the best intellectuals of our time.
This has been an eye opening conversation. I find it very tragic that despite being in the front seat of Zimbabwe's history for over 50 years, the former President did not commit pen to paper his own account of our nation's events. Thank you Trevor and company.
Well spoken Prof Author Mutambara and have enjoyed your reasoning capacity and capabilities on how you aticulate the issues which has affected our beautiful mother land Zimbabwe on the cost poor citizens.
AGO- is ever articulate, smart, honest and crafta statesmanship to its highest levels. We miss Leaders like Him and a New Zimbabwe clearly need people like him and Masiiwa.
This is an essential watch for any forward-thinking individual! The depth and richness of the discussion between Trevor and Professor Arthur Mutambara is impressive. What's commendable is how they weave insights from politics, future studies, and complex engineering topics like AI. Yet, the most captivating aspect is how they consistently bring it back to the Zimbabwean context, reminding us of the importance and urgency of driving meaningful change. Truly enlightening!
Wow, that was such an insightful conversation! I loved the way Professor Mutambara and his host bounced ideas off each other and brought unique perspectives to the table. Thank you to Trevor for facilitating such a thought-provoking discussion and to Prof Mutambara for sharing his expertise and experiences.
Greetings. Thank you all for being here. We are are passionate about freedom of expression which is why we absolutely love all your comments. We love a robust exchange of ideas. We go beyond the headlines and beyond the sensational.
Thoroughly enjoyed the conversation. Prof Mutambara did not disappoint me at all; very articulate and informative. He is a true reflection of academics; all good talk and no action. Unfortunately, history is made and written by those who act on their convictions and stand true to their ideals. He is only visible to the Zimbabweans when elections are close by and then disappears. Calling Mugabe a small man and laughing.... maybe an exaggeration.
@@niconkola9314 Collectively we all had role to play in the making of the monster , bhinya ruling us today. We are too creative for our own good tinowanza kukiyakiya instead of confrating the problem head we either leave e county or find other means to survive
Great conversation. My take away is we are in this struggle for a long haul. How much money is enough so the nation is not held hostage. I would suggest we dont look at taking any of the ill gotten wealth and just agree to start afresh with proper rules and laws, otherwise we are royally screwed. It sucks, for all the families that are separated and wish to be home. We are all spread out looking for money, education etc but missing on the most important thing which is being with your family and friends. A whole lot of depressed souls we are.
@@mandlenkosihlazo977 You need to look at the bigger picture. The money looted is sunk costs. It’s done with. Are we more concerned about retribution or moving forward. You have to make tough choices to move ahead sometimes. I just think there is a need to turn a new page and let bygones be bygones. Then make sure new laws are in pace to deal with all kind of shenanigans. People already know the loopholes that have been exploited. Otherwise we will be waiting for a very long time. In my opinion forgiving the thieves and having a chance to move on is reasonable.
we have a lot of guys like him in this country, that's the true nature of Zimbabweans we are an advanced people if it was not for a few factors that are deep rooted
In my high school days and varsity days I had two models and that was Profs M. NCUBE and AGO Mutambara. Mutambara is getting his space back in my mind and heart. I am one guy who respect thinkers
"Why doong it anyway…‽" Good question there Trevor, and good response too Prof Mtambara, "we have to do it until we get it right, this is a great inspirational and motivational insight coming from a senior and impartial citizen,as l always term the Professor. I cant wait to share this conversation which in my opinion, has a lot of fundamental pointers to the Zimbabwe we all are hoping for. Thank you Trevor
Chamisa must work with prof A Mutambara or atlist bring him in as an advisor, he knows Zimbabwe history and you can see the way he speak tht he's got a good vision and want Zimbabwe to do well
Prof Mutambara lets define and document this Zimbabwe dream....lets have this as a basis document to drive Zimbabwe.Good idea and this can help all parties
Very inspirational. Simple, true and fair reflections. I am definitely on my journey to write about my life experiences, documentation is key. Maybe one person will learn from my experiences.
Minutes 10:04 "A people beget the leadership they deserve". Sounds biblical and is spiritual. Psalm 125:3 “For the scepter of wickedness shall not rest upon the land of the righteous, so that the righteous will not put forth their hands to do wrong.”
Ordinary Zimbabweans are very corrupt. But they say they hate Zanu because it is corrupt..The corrupt leaders in Africa are just a reflection of the populations they lead.
i like Prof’s honesty it’s a pit he will never be president ,i also like how he spoke of a side people hardly saw of the late President and also how he shed light on our current leader’s strategy 🚮

Most definite on the maturity part. I remember being surprised when I first learnt of him how brash he was. Zimbabwe should give him a second bite.
Trevor amongst all your conversations this one with proffesor A Mutambara is tge best

Leadership is about making unpopular decisions popular.
It shows an indepth understanding of the dynamics surrounding populist leaders and ideas vs pragmatic leadership and how they can blend
