After attempting to bury her memories for more than two decades, she is now bringing them to surface to spread awareness about not only who she is and what she has gone through, but what many children are still undergoing when placed in these facilities.

The mom of Paris should be investigated
@@KatalinaKristina yeah Paris said her mom was hiding things, or her parents rather, and they sent Paris away to save their reputations
Has anyone seen that short video of her mom getting upset over Paris’ husband using a gifted Hermes tray… as a kitchen tray.
The mom comes to visit and sees kitchenware on the tray and loses it - saying that’s not what it’s to be used for.
What’s crazy is Paris’ reaction to all this.
Total frozen, panicked animal. Immediately infantilized, apologizing, desperate to calm Mommy down and show her how grateful they are.

Naw, Pamela Anderson did the sex tape thing first.
Paris’ real voice is so amazing, I’m glad she stopped doing the baby voice because it was a character she just played and she actually hustled the whole world with that persona. She’s a smart business mogul! We love you so much Paris!
Beautiful and sad when you see the reasons why a monotone voice can occur
She didn't... this is from the film. She still plays the character and still is near her agressors. Nothing changed after the film and she realing.
@@leoninavictoria8024 "and she realing" ??

Agreed!!
Her parents just gave her trauma after trauma. Unbelievable. NO ONE ever deserves to be put in that position after everything she's been through! I wish Paris peace and full healing. This is so heartbreaking to watch up to this day.
This is so sad. I would never trade places with her even with all that wealth.😢❤
Yea its so sad
to make a real superstar they have to be traumatized beginning in early childhood. Their minds must be compartmentalized in order to control them and make them full time slaves. Controlled by their handlers. The mind control can only take place on a traumatized base. Parents are all in with this whole process.

Parenthood is a whole differant game. Study up on what is best. Parents make mistakes because they don't know better. And because of where they came from. Also be very careful of spoiling. Her parents worst fear was her making a spectacle and fueling gossip?Thats exactly what she did- perfect revenge for such mistreatment.
Her and 50 trillion other women, yes she is
What happened to Paris seems to have started with her parents sending her away so that someone else could "deal with and fix" her. Parents never forget..when you bring a child into this earth..it is YOUR first responsibility to be the one to care for, love an support your child. Doesn't matter how busy you are or what else you're responsible. The busier you are the more you have to actively remember your bottom lines. Being rich and having the extra responsibilities that come with that is no excuse.
Yea. her mom did an interview with The Real and she said Paris was a problematic child that had gotten kicked out of school etc etc and the reason why she send Paris off to that school was because her friends had also sent their children there and so she thought the school was safe. I guess that school camouflaged well and so she trusted them. She also paid a pretty hefty penny for that school but in the end Paris ended up paying the ultimate price.
If kathy had spent more time being a mother then in bed on Valium things may have been different for paras…..even if you say “the school was needed for her because of her wayward ways”…….in the middle of the night???? By strange men????? Not the way to go about it…….that is not the way to send your child to “boot camp”.
exactly!

What's crazy is that society teaches that the rich have no problems, and never go through anything. I always thought Paris was the airhead she pretended be, but I now know it's a trauma response. Yes she made money off of it, but in actuality, she's been masking. I have so much respect for her speaking out and giving other people a voice. I wish her all the best and I hope she can get those evil places shut down.
I thought the same
She really did like to say "that's hot," a lot as a youngster and she and her friend from Simple Life really did get into a lot of mischief growing up but it was only part of who she was and not the whole picture .
It is never the childrens fault. Too many childrens out there are suffering because of bad parents. It is sickening. People who send children and teenagers away don't take on their responsibility as a parent. This stuff makes me so sad and angry to think about. The world can be so dark and scary.
totally, its also very disturbing thinking about all the kids in this pain
💯
This!! Exactly!!!!! If kids are acting out in the first place it’s often due to bad parenting and or abuses they r suffering. And either way if parents send their kids away it’s abdicating their responsibilities. If u aren’t willing to actually parent than u don’t deserve to become one.

Big difference between "forgive" and "not dealing with" , MOST kids who act-out have been treated horrible / frustrated/ ignored / hated /abused , "know people by their children" . As If her mom couldn't to afford to make time to bond / create positive social experiences for paris / provide unbreakable emotional support !! Cant say "they didn't know" when its their fault that they didn't know . Mom had major issuses and ended up projecting her own misery on paris . Mom should have sent herself to rehab / bootcamp to deal with her own crap . These type of "parents " usually undermine the stability /happiness of the most promising/happy/talented/strongest child (their wisdom makes the dysfunctional parent even more insecure) ITS THE MISSING LINK (of why paris was a little difficult in highschool) , paris is a treasure and any loving/sane /sober parent can see that : WORTH EVERY SINGLE MOMENT YOU CAN SPEND WITH . TEACHING YOUR KIDS TOLERANCE IS MORE VALUABLE THAN CONTROLLING THEM... LOVE YOUR CHILDREN , EVEN ON THEIR WORST DAY(cuz thats when it really matters)

I think there is a barrier up in teen years. Maybe parents just need to listen to the young voice their concerns, what they are subjected to, or at risk times. Communication. Sometimes parents cause the child to not trust the parent as the push back will be parent will be harsh. Just a belief not necessarily true, because parent has the power.
Also people in prison are treated the same way, by guards.
I was at PCS March 2010 to December 2010. It’s weird hearing other people talk about that place. After this doc came out, a couple of the staff from that school reached out to me and were like “did you feel like we abused you guys” and I was like lol what do you mean “feel like”. They said but did you think that was the intention and I told them whatever your intentions were, children were abused, it doesn’t really matter what you intended to do, what matters is what you did. Anyways thank you for this 🖤

This may not relate to your story but my mom always threw in my face that I needed help. She wouldn't get me help for my anger issues but she sure liked to throw it in my face that I needed to be sent away. Years later, I put myself in therapy. It helped. Then I became a mom and my son was showing signs of lack of regulation. It stems from development delays. My worst fear was being a mom who was mean because she couldn't handle an "unruly child". However I learned that he needed deep pressure like hugs and massages. So everyday I hugged him and squeezed him and kissed him. He still has anger issues but I did the one thing my mom didn't do for me. I didn't give up on him or turn him away. Anyway I'm giving you a hug from where I am. Cheesy I know but it all starts with compassion and knowing someone understands.

Its such a shame she felt like she needed to become this fictitious 'silly blonde' character. She's quite obviously smart and articulate. Says a lot about our culture and what people value :( I hope she can find her way to being herself in time as she has a lot to give.
I think the part that hits me the most is that Paris is the one who seemed to have to be the strongest one. Leading girls to run away, running away by herself, picking her own life up to help others, being strong for her family. Constantly not being able to break down unless it’s by herself. I feel that and she shouldn’t ever have to be alone so I’m glad she has her girls ❤
So much respect. I never knew this about her. The abuse is astounding. I’m so sorry she went through this.

Every time I see Paris in candid moments walking around her home, the scene strikes me as so lonely. I don't know what her social life is like, but I can imagine there are a lot of people who like to be around her because she does seem quite nice and sweet. I get the sense that she lives a pretty solitary existence outside of social engagements, though. As a person who went through a lot that was inflicted on me by my parents and have also ended up with similar trust issues, I don't know if this is me projecting my own experience onto what I was watching or if it's recognition of someone's similarities. Either way, Paris, I really hope you're doing better these days. The world sees you, and we agree that what your parents and those awful places did to you was wrong. Much love to you, girl. ♥
To be woken up and taken by people while sleeping is paralyzing, and traumatizing, and to know that a parent signed off is a horrible feeling.
I relate in a few ways, my parents were so focussed on my brother's mental conditions, I was an easy way to eliminate some of the pressure they were under.
I was sent to a group home where there were many people with different mental issues.
I was seen as a difficult teen when in fact it was them just not being able to handle my brother.
Fast forward, my parents and I are fine but took many years to repair the relationship and well, my brother brought on a lot more hardship for not just them but for all of us.
We have all recovered, except my brother because he has been...

Wtf why do these places exist if they are abusive and abusing their power ???
I can completely understand their pain! I was sent to a similar place as a teen! And at 41 I have PTSD from that experience! Being destroyed as a human at such a young age changes your whole life!
Keep loving yourself. One day at a time, get strong. You cannot change the past, or regrab events, but choose that which you want and deserve. That is my take on it. The days go fast. Too short. No more self pity, abusers are never worth the thoughts.
Can I ask if you take any meds and if they help
@Ohkeh640 I do not take anything! But I do have to always be self-aware. Because sometimes I can become angry and bitter. I have to check myself often. It can be a challenge some days.
I could not stop sobbing this entire video. I looked up to Paris my entire childhood, Wondering why I wasn’t living her life. Why wasn’t I like her? I wanted to be in her shoes…but now only to realize she was suffering that whole time just like I was. If not worse. This has enlightened my inner child so much. I think her coming forward like this has helped others in so many ways, more than she can ever imagine. Love you forever Paris. ❤
This makes me cry but also heartwarming how the women came together
This is the first time I've felt respect and also empathy for Paris. I'm glad she's making herself vulnerable enough to share her story in an effort to help others
I dealt with coercive control in my home growing up (think cult-like strictness) and it affects my every waking moment. Your body and mind are so vulnerable and impressionable in childhood. If you grow up fearing the people you’re supposed to trust, how do you move through the world?
When she said she could remember who she was again with her friends but felt like a robot now, I sobbed. Girl same. Trauma can rob us of so much.
What a sweet, intelligent, and sincere person. It’s so unfortunate that these kids were treated like prisoners. I wish I could reach back into time and mother them all. They needed love, encouragement and understanding.
people in prison sue the prisons for abuse all the time, most guards belong behind bars them selves
Paris running away from things and places just goes to show how trapped, unloved, and unaccepted she felt from close people around her to just accept her for who she is and her flawed and free spirited human self. What she went through with her parents is so relatable with so many young people out there and including myself having delt with parents always trying to impose their rules of parenting that don’t go with my own values of individuality and not feeling like I’m enough.

They’ve been through so much trauma, it’s heartbreaking. I’m glad Paris is using her platform to raise awareness and talking about it. They’re so vulnerable. I struggle with PTSD, insomnia and anxiety, It’s a daily battle ☹️.
me too...
Same ❤

I love that Paris has become a Social Justice Warrior! Totally get she hates talking about her insomnia and her PSTD. What happened to her was NEVER EVER okay. My dad considered sending me and my twin (13)going to one of these outward-bound schools in Canada. My mom shut him down...my dad thought this would help with the school bullies...turns out my dad was a bully too!
I had no idea any of this was happening. My heart breaks for the intense trauma she and all of these other women have experienced. She is so courageous and strong to tell her story. 💔
The way they just called Paris out, “when I saw your show, i called bullshit because you said you didn’t know how to use a mop even though we were forced to clean” omg
The moment she’s in her closet breaking down always makes me cry 💔 I love Paris so much
Thanks for telling that story. Some parents should worry about their kids not a reputation.
It took such bravery for her to be so honest about what she endured. So amazing that she’s using her platform to call out these horrible places. You GO GIRL!!!
As someone who had a violent and traumatic childhood
I'm proud to stand next to you Paris
And cry with you
This information redefines everything she’s done in the public eye. The clothing and persona is armor, her dogs are are the people she can trust when she lost trust in everyone else and the empire is world she can control.
yes thats exactly what I thought, well said. She built all this up as a wall against the world, and her parents. Now with this incredible base, I wish she will be able to get out of the character she created to find her own self and heal.
Ask me ten years ago what I thought of Paris and it would be quite a relatively negative view. Now as a 33 year old myself, having not been an angel myself and being on the wrong side of the tracks so to speak and enduring lack of
Love and understanding from my parents, I literally cried through this and realised how wrong I was to judge someone else when in effect I was no different. I truly commend Paris for sharing that difficult chapter in her life so rawly. As I’m older now, I’ve learnt not to be so judgmental of people and to accept faults and problems as they are.
Girl I respect the real you a lot more than any character you made. I can honestly say this is the first time after growing up seeing you on TV I have ever felt any respect and emotion towards you. I'm so glad I came across this and I see you in a completely new light now.
I'm so sorry you went through this. Sharing your story is so brave of you. ❤
I'm 62 year's old watching this and crying like a baby!! Paris I want to tell you YOU are helping so many young women!! I'm Very sorry you went through all that torture as a young girl, it's so damn heartbreaking and just TERRIBLE!! I wish I could give you a big hug!!! Much respect,Sandy 🙏❤
“It made me not trust anyone, including my own family”u can sense the defensiveness in her voice when she said that,my heart goes out to u, u will come out stronger and happier for sure!!!loves it..
Paris, I’ve never really paid you much attention - it was hard to relate to you. But this, felt so honest and genuine and real. I am so sorry that you went through what you went through and so honoured to watch you face your trauma. You are on my radar now, I will watch for you and listen to you and support your endeavours to be your real self. May you find what you are looking for. 🙏
I’ll be bringing her up in my prayers. She is being spiritually oppressed in her dreams. She needs healing
I think a lot more people now understand you and who you are and how you’ve become who you are now. Its truly brave to share such a story which is so personal. The real Paris is actually very inspiring.
You know I got out of program at 18 without the lexicon to explain what had happened for the past four years. I tried so hard..
Eventually I gave up and went into my trauma alone and I stop talking. It wasn't until I found survivors on Facebook from other programs that I started to awaken again and understand my past. And be able to express it. You changed everything for us miss hilton. Thank you truly.
Which facility. I would like to speak with you regarding those practices

Im shocked she'd even talk to her parents! She will never be the same. This is Paris.
"it makes me sad they took that away" its inspiring to see you breaking out and saying "this is the real me, that was just a cartoon" its so nice to see you be real. keep letting your true self shine.
I have so much respect for Paris after watching this, the way she hugged the other survivor when she didn't think she could film was so genuine, she actually is a beautiful soul, I'm glad there all finally getting to share there stories, all truly amazing women ❤
Thank you Paris. As someone from the UK, I'm appalled that this is still happening to thousands of young children every year. America is so morally corrupt i'm disgusted you went through this.
The whole world is morally corrupt.
@@dobbysboggart6883 Nowhere is as bad as America. State sponsored child abuse for profit speaks volumes.
@@dobbysboggart6883 in most countries, you have corruption and stuff and abuse from institutions but you don't have this type of behavioral boarding school for teenagers. So much documented abuse that was proven, but no one says a thing because it brings so much money. Nope only in america
The UK is morally corrupt too
Paris is her family's sacrafice just as I am in my own family. So soul bending.
This is horrible and disgusting that these women had to endure this. Paris you are a bright light.
Paris, I had no idea you went through all of this trauma! Places like this need to be shut down! I’m so incredibly glad you’ve come out and shared your experiences. I wish you and everyone that’s had to endure this trauma to heal and thrive in your authentic self. ❤️
Thanks Paris for your support for young people. I was abused when I was a child and had terrible things happen to me. Thank you for using your platform and voice for this great cause. It truly has effected me as a adult and you are super brave for telling your story. I'm truly grateful.
I was in Paradise Cove, Samoa from 1996 to 1998. It was a WWASP program like yours. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for telling this story.
Kathy- should we move to the moon? No. You shouldn’t outsource parenting. I went to these schools myself and I still have nightmares that I can’t get out. Hey kept us up for days, medicine, abuse It’s horrible. And I begged to get out, I was called manipulative and punished
I love that she is using her hardest experiences to help others overcome theirs.
I think her pets make her truly happy.
I love you so much Paris. I was also subjected to this type of awful treatment in “emotional growth” facilities as a child. Coming together to share stories like this as a group of powerful survivors is the most effective form of healing for me.
Wow. I’m so glad that she did this and spoke out. They are all so brave.
This is so awesome that Paris used her voice/platform to speak out. I hope one day she finds true peace in her heart and spirit ❤️
I gotta say her parents suck. There is no way any parent worthy of having children would send their child away and not check on them and make sure they’re ok and getting the help they needed to begin with. It just pisses me off.
Thank you for standing up for us when nobody else will. i spent 5 years in these places and dont know if i can ever recover from that trauma. You are a saint for starting this conversation paris. thank you
Which facility I want to help you tell your story too
5 years!! How many times did you see your parents? How come they could not see something was wrong? I'm very sorry, how are you today?
She’s still so beautiful omg
I met Paris once. She is very nice. Had no idea she and others went through this. Glad she survived and healing from this.
We’re so proud of the woman you’ve become!
We love you Paris
Paris Hilton’s story really touched my heart. She is resilient to speak of what happened, and she is a warrior. As beautiful, and rich as she is, going through what she did, there is no excuse for the abuse she encountered.
Thank you for sharing your story. I am very happy you survived this horrible nightmare. ❤️
Im so proud of her speaking out on this horrific place. I want there to be no place like this to exist here or anywhere.
