It's so easy to cut an onion and food is bland without it. Its so American to not put flavour into one's food. If you don't know how to cut an onion, let me tell you. First cut it in half from the 2 ends of the onion. Then you take a half and cut of the ends/part that we don't eat. Then you slice that half and turn it around and slice it again on the perpendicular side. And then copy the same thing for the other half if you want a whole onion. Then voila, you have yourself some diced onion.
It wasn’t laziness, she simply forgot to chop them. She clearly had absolutely no idea what she was doing. Well, I’m quite sure that’s no news for you.

Place a wet napkin next to area where you chop onion to avoid tears. Onion enzyme is attracted to water so will pull from wet napkin rather than you tear ducts. It’s worked the last two years I tried it. Thanks Tik tok!

I was looking for someone to catch that part...I fell with the lasagna vibes!!! I guess I'll be saying "vibes" LOL
Paris, I love you but I'm italian and let me give you few tips haha:
- fry onions, carrots and celery with abundant oil and then put the mince beef. Don't remove the oil as it will become dry. while cooking add some wine to give flavour. Salt and let it cook for a while. Then add tomato sauce, water, and more salt, leave it like this with low fire for a hour. You don't really need to pre-cook the lasagna noodles, you can put like this dry when you build up your lasagna, the oven will do the rest. Cover the tray with alluminium foil while cooking so it get steamed and not dry . about the rest you can add whatever you want in your lasagna, at the end everyone is free to cook lasagna in their way.
I lost it when she grabbed 3 spatulas "I guess one of these we will work" and then proceeded to use all 3 at the same time 😂

What I like about this video is "it is what it is". It seems genuine and real, not artificial with everyone doing everything for her and then she pretends like she did it. Good for Paris for trying something new, going outside her comfort zone and putting it out there. I'm sure now she knows the difference between a grill spatula and a regular one, and not to use metal utensils on non stick pans. You learn best by diving in and doing it!
Right?! Also, I'm sure pans get replaced as soon as there is a scratch. I know it's weird but I was oddly comforted by how messy her drawers seemed too, you can tell the house is actually lived in.
