I'm going back to ViewSonic monitors. I made the mistake of trying out Dell monitors within this price range but they have crappy glossy low-haze screens that work better as mirrors and have muddy blacks. For the price you can't beat ViewSonic monitors. My last one gave me 9 years of trouble-free use before I sold it on... and it's still working!

I have this monitor . But in corners of screen when black or darker background is on , I see some weird yellow low light ! Is that maybe some problem with model that I got in the market ? Looks like some led light mistake or damage ? And bottom part of the monitor ( body ) is heating , have some unusual warm temps !

This one is IPS, it doesn't have the massive Smearing like the AOC does. It also has vesa. It also has better viewing angles.
I actually feel kinda cucked i went for the Q3279WVF.

You can change you monitor’s brightness etc with ‘Monitor Control Command Set’ software without using those buttons. (Philips has such a software, which should work with any recent monitor, since this is a standard and about 10 years old)
Nice review. This is in my shortlist but there are far too few reviews out there. Do you know how well console games fare on it? Specifically the 360, PS4 and Switch.
Its a great monitor for consoles, especially if you are thinking to have it in your room.

yo! i bought this monitor mainly for gaming( i dont play fps games), and watching 1440p videos here in youtube..
however i didnt see any substantial comment on this monitors overclock settings,
i was able to overclock this up to 64hz ( 4 more hz than 60).. however the monitor can be overclocked up to 75hz, but it will lose its sharpness ( text will become blurry.. around 20% less sharp)
regardless of overclock this is a good monitor!

All freesync monitor can. Be over clocked to at least 75 hz no picture blur too.

75%ntsc which translates to over 99% sRGB
How does the monitor work for photography work with lightroom and photoshop? I currently use a Spyder pro to calibrate my dell monitor and am happy with the results, could I expect the same from this 32" screen?
its an IPS monitor with Matte anti-glare panel. its a great upgrade from a 1920x1080 FHD monitor. you can expect even better results with vivid and wide range of colour gamut. i myself will be getting one soon!

Nathaniel Laron it does, but it wouldnt work all that well the way 4k downscales into 1080p perfectly (2160×3840= 1080×1920×4)
I need both the digital signal(HDMI/DP) and the analog signal(VGA). Remember, there are decades of systems with analog signals with use cases. Just because you don't have a need for it, doesn't mean it's a ding. IMO for this price point, ViewSonic did the right thing and stop trying to kill VGA. That will happen on its own without making it a point of contention.

i use a dell u3011 , its 30’ 1600p... but its pretty old and i want a ips . asus is pretty mad expensive and this costs pretty low, i play games on pc and just bought a 1080ti strix so dont have enough cash to buy a expensive monitor, i dont know much about viewsonic... is it a reliable brand?

I see on some websites that the refresh rate is 24-75hz. Some even show Does that mean I can get 75hz using a displayport?
Nope you can't, you can overclock the display though, but it won't make too much difference.

If anyone's interested, I just bought one and it does have a Sleep timer function. Under Setup Menu. From 30, 45, 60 and 120 minutes.

Does the IO really matter? Displayport > All. Then, why buy this for a TV when you can get an off-brand 55" 4k for like 20% more, that's also VA so better for TV (Better blacks, no glow). Thanks for reviewing this, hard to find reviews elsewhere.

In the OSD what kind of settings does it have for Overdrive? I'm thinking about this and just gaming on the side, but worried about ghosting (We all know 8ms response time just like 5ms is just manufacturers saying whatever). UFO Ghost test perhaps?
Viewsonic truly mean if they indicate what really is in the specs. Their input lag is nearly absent compared to other monitors. 8ms in this case is not recommended when playing fast paced game. :) But playing DOTA2 or LOL is a breeze with this 8ms response time monitors @ 60hz
The thing is, all manufacturers lie. For example, all TN monitors are listed at 1ms, yet I know for a fact there is not 1 single monitor on planet earth that has 1ms.

got the VX3211-2K-MHD and send back cauze of huge Backlight-Bleeding lower right and especially left. out of the box good calibrated. gaming performance is ok. but not amazing. little bit ghosting with all od settings.

Friday I got the LG 27UD88-W. Amazing picture out of the box. especially i love the white picture. Backlight-Bleeding is in the case. you only notice it in really dark room. coating is very well for the eyes. interpolation is no problem with 3 step Super-resolution. Super Gaming performance for 60 Hz. OD middle best choice. no ghosing.
Viewsonic IPS monitors does not have this backlight bleeding w/c LG suffer in their IPS monitors.
ViewSonic VX3276-2K-mhd 32" Just got this slightly different model and the build quality is utter crap, it feels and looks cheap. Some of the screws in the screen have been put in with such force it's actually bent the plastic in. Also there is either a fault of massive backlight bleed on the bottom right corner, I only just purchsed this in the UK and while the display is ok for an IPS at 2K it's nothing special. I would never buy a Viewsonic ever again and if I can take this back I will be doing.

2k isn’t WQHD. WQHD is better than 2k. 2k is more like Full HD.
