    *_UPDATE_* : OK here are the test with a 5 meter Display Port cable.
    60Hz sRGB Full 10bit OK, 75Mhz sRGB Full 8bit only. No 10bit color when using sRGB at 75Hz.
    Using 422 & 444 color space, both 60Hz and 75Hz are supported with 10bit color. However the color range is restricted to Limited.
    Hope this helps :-)

      Thank you for this. I believe you had to create a custom resolution profile to get to 75Hz? I had to do this too with my DP1.4 cable, however could only get 8bit color. Off custom profile, I could just hit 60Hz at either 8 or 10bit for some reason.

    Going to get this as a second monitor in addition to my Viotek 27in TN panel. I like the quick/budget friendly response time for gaming on the TN, but wanted a second IPS monitor that looks better watching videos or other media on.
    I believe the VX3276-2K-MHD is a perfect option for a second "utility" monitor if anyone is in consideration like I am!

I know this question depends a lot of requirement of each user/ distance, etc, but I've been through not satisfy exp with 24in FHD, text tend to jaggy. • @JoeJacksonJr
      @JoeJacksonJr  3 роки тому +2

      Honestly I havent had any issues. Its true the LED light source is at the bottom of the screen. So there isnt any local dimming. But unless your using a black and white checker board as your windows wallpaper I really doubt you will notice. But unless you go OLED or one of those 30k dollar Apple Pro displays with a ton of local dimming zones. There will also be a little bleed of some degree. That said, for a single lighting bar, it is completely evenly lit and no noticeable bleed under normal conditions..

      Going from 27 inch 1080p to 32 inch 1440p, the pixels are smaller harder to see. For me I have to get with-in 1 foot of the display to see them. But setting 16 to 20 inches away, I can not.. They are the same color profile per se. But the sRGB mode limits some options and lowers your brightness to ensure your getting the full color range and accuracy. Most displays are to bright and to contrasty out of the box, which doesnt accurately display many colors.

      There was nothing else on my screen. Now I have ran into issues before where Macs where not showing up sharp (I got a 2012 mini). But normally there are font settings that you can adjust to make sure its sharp. But before doing all that. Make sure you Mac Mini is actually displaying at 2560x1440p. Also put the display into Mac mode in the profile settings to see if that helps. Its very likely it may be trying to over or under scan the image.

It honestly looks like theres a layer of film over the whole screen! I convinced myself there was a sticker but there definitely isn't so not sure what's going on? I'm currently between this one and the VX2768-2KPC-MHD which is 27 inches, curved va panel, 144hz and also 1440p...
    I can use 144hz but is not a requirement, but I really like VA colors for gaming, movies, videos, and pretty much anything else, but I also like IPS enough because of its color accuracy.
    I have noticed with friends and such who have curved monitors, I really like the curve...but I also like 32 inches more than 27...
    Hard to decide, there's only a 20 USD difference in my country (the 32 inch being more expensive)...
    Any opinions?

      Mine has terrible backlight bleed, but it's not something I'm too fussy about. The major annoyances for me about this monitor is that it's not bright enough - on sunny days I find myself squinting, and it does not automatically wake from sleep when I switch my laptop on.

    • @JoeJacksonJr

      If you are unable to get 75Hz with the supplied cable it very well could be your graphics card not supporting anything faster then 60hz for that resolution on HDMI.. I just got the display port cable in yesterday that I mentioned I was ordering in the video. But if you have a display port on your video card. There is a good chance using DP could help you..

    Anyone know why a Mini DisplayPort to Mini Display port cable won’t work when I use it to connect a MacBook Air to this Monitor ? Both devices don’t even recognise each other. I can only get it to work with a HDMI to Mini display port but then the resolution will only allow me 2560 x 1040. Not even 1440 which it says is the best setting.

    • @JoeJacksonJr
      @JoeJacksonJr  3 роки тому

      OK here are the test with a 5 meter Display Port cable.
This is all at 2560x1440p..
      Hope this helps :-) If any one claims otherwise then they are mistaken.
      I am running it right now at 2560x1440p @75Hz .
