Considering the freak show dresses that appear at all the awards shows now, seeing these royal ladies turned out looking absolutely sublime. Royalty. It's how it's done.
Modest clothes are always classier than what we see at awards shows. I find the coronation fashion to be much more interesting.
@@Lovesapuzzle It is because they are relateble. As an ordinary person, I can have a look at those outfits and think :" Oh, yes, I can wear something like this ". Can't say the same for celebrities barely there outfits with boobs are out there for the world to see and crotch-high splits.
You can bring American standard to match British standard. British is nothing but CLASS. Better than American like a million light miles.
I agree..
The RF don't dress like a Coven as they do in States.
No matter what, I appreciate that Charlene attended. I wish her the very best❤
Lady Louise is grown up! She will be a major asset for the RF in the next 10 years.
So like her parents….
Totally agree with you. What irks me a bit is that in almost all her public appearances she wears Sophie's old clothes adapted to Louise's body 🙄
I feel that this is a good thing we should not waste what is good... makes young people more disciplined
Who said she will be a working royal. Her cousins are not.
@@cafemarlene8 sbe is not a working royal
I hope I never go to a function where my clothes are scrutinised and criticised so mercilessly.
You probably won't.
@@CarolStJohn-ev9ry Calm down.
And here, only the women's styles are harshly critiqued.
They're just spring suits and dresses. Nothing inspiring here. Obviously some of the ladies needed better foundation garments under their dresses, because big bosoms are difficult to drape smooth fabric over. Let's face it, a coronation is not an occasion requiring anything other than standard conservative wear. You're supposed to look correct and respectful of the occasion, nothing more. And they pretty much all did that. As for our scowling pregnant Royal, she probably didn't want to be there. No way you are going to be anything but boxy when you are in an advanced state of pregnancy, and the Brits don't seem to have a need for the Hollywood style of making the belly into another garishly sexy curve, and then over-exposing the cleavage as a distraction in the dress-up statement. So what was her choice as a look other than what she wore?
Don't that couple own an Iron.don't think Harry's creased Dior suit went down very well.
I’m just thankful Princess Charlene showed up! She’s had physical and mental problems the past few years, so good and hurrah for her coming, regardless of what she wore. PS: She looks like she’s gained some weight, maybe she’s taking medication.
I also applaud her for showing up. I hope she is getting better. ❤
I was wondering if she would come or not. It's been a rough few years for her. She looked so painfully thin when Albert and the kids visited her in South Africa. I'm glad to see her looking healthier. I only hope she looks happier soon.
❤🌹
Yes. She did gain weight. Also perhaps she has dialed down her addiction. Brave of her to show up
Is that common knowledge? We're sinus surgeries a euphemism ?
I LOVE the color of Crown Princess Mary’s plum color shoes with the darker purple! I always thought shoes shouldn’t match the dress exactly. She is my favorite dressed!
Even Would Look Nice If They Were A Shade Darker Color.
Me too!
I didnot like her outfit
Crown Princess Mary's shoes looked fine. She is my #1 pick for the best Coronation fashion. Her.choosing a purple shade a bit brighter than the color of her dress worked for me.
Michelle Obama did a similar thing with her beautiful citron green ensemble for the 2009 Inauguration. Her green shoes were a slightly different shade of green than her citron green coat, sweater, and dress.
Me too
How about the lady who was carrying the sword? That outfit was majestic
@Milly Costa that was Penny Mordant. She is a member of Parliament and Lord President of the Council (as in the Privy Council) hence carrying that really heavy sword for 52 minutes. She did weight training to prepare for it. I think she looked fantastic.
This ensemble was the best for me - elegant and majestic, simply gorgeous
Princess Charlene is a beautiful woman. We all have ups and downs.
Lady Louise is going be wowing us in a grown up mature fashion daily. Fabulous Lady 😊
I think being away at university, being more independent was in part responsible for her transformation.
I’m not being snarky but I always think she dresses too old. She has a tall model-like shape, lovely hair, gorgeous smile. But she dresses in a matronly fashion. Just my opinion.
She will be a great Royal.
She looked beautiful.
Very elegant and femenin
I love Crown Princess Mary’s look including the shoes. Her shoes are so edgy and always super colorful.👠
CP Mary looked superb. The turquoise pops against the purple...glad she did not do "matchy matchy" shoes. She and Princess Catherine are both commoners who are truly regal.
I think if Princess Charlene had opted for a much bigger hat, the outfit would've balanced out. The short haircut & small hat made her head look so tiny that her body looked too large in comparison.
Yes. She has an athletic build. That outfit didn't balance her shoulders against the rest of her body.
Spot on.
Вы очень точно описали её наряд👌🏽! Ей бы шляпку размером побольше и было бы вполне не плохо...
Her hair is way too short. Awful haircut.
The choice of the overall colour of her outfit is a total miss IMO. It’s just not flattering at all. That cross drape adds even more volume. Pity, usually she has perfect outfits.
Zara really looks regal and that man looks pretty splendid also! I love them so much. She is my absolute favorite after Princess Anne. Oh yes, I loved the red plume standing in for the candle 😊!
I adore that mother daughter duo. I came here just to see what Zara was wearing.
She wore coat dress. The uniform for all of them.
Anne was in uniform. What is there to love. The feather is part of the uniform
I loved lady Louise dress too...she seems so shy so it's nice to see her here.
Why is she constantly wearing her mother's case. They are not lacking money
Crown Princess Mary of Denmark looks fantastic and the shoes are absolutely fine.
Zara Tindall was heavily pregnant at Harry’s wedding and did it well, if I recall.
In regard to Princess Charlene-It’s not her outfit. It is her absolute semblance of sadness, unhappiness, she is probably dealing with. It’s the body and demeanor of a woman who doesn’t give 2 rats about life right now. I sense she’s going through a lot of emotional stuff, so when that happens it is hard to put on a good face.
I've always thought Charlene doesn't like attending royal gatherings. Just has never been her thing.
@@jackielaurin8692Yes. I see that too 😥.
But what a strength of character to attend in the first place. She is stronger and braver than she realises ❤❤
Prayer is the only and most suited gesture for not only Princess Charlene, but all of them in their higher calling. So glad she came!
@@rpireland6131 h I’m😮
She had left her children with her husband for some time. I wonder if she is not happy with her husband but is forced to stay with him due to the children? She has to play the role of wife to be with her children.
I don't mind the purple 💜 shoes at all. I think it works
Me too. She also could have done a nude and matched the purse or gloves. But beautiful!!
Purple and turquoise DO actually go GREAT!
She did that on purpose! Pop of color. Mary is very stylish.
I think of turquoise as the colour of the sky, and I have yet to see anything that clashes with the sky. And green are the leaves of the plants. “Oh darling, with those green leaves you should have gone with a pink flower! That purple just clashes!!” Lol. Not sure that is going to happen. 😂
@Kathy Butterfield I agree slightly shiny lighter hue works too matchy matchy doesn't always work. She could have looked like Bernie dinosaur
My heart goes out to Princess Charlene. Between her severe illness, any mental illnesses she may be suffering from, and possibly being in an unhappy marriage, what she wears should be the last thing she needs to worry about.
I hope he can heal both mentally and physically.
I agree. I think she's in a desperately unhappy marriage poor love.
@@amethystfeathers7324 how can she be happy married to Albert. .
@ER
Ummm. Well, not really. I'm sure she has someone to help her make a decision on an APPROPRIATE frock to represent 🇲🇨MONACO.
Let's face it, Monaco is all about indulgence, glamor, glitz, etc.
I think she could have been better groomed, considering her position and wealth.
She looks horrible!
I agree. Every time I see her, the emotional pain is obvious. I’m very disappointed in Albert. He doesn’t seem to be concerned or care for her. I could just slap his smug face.
Well said. Hopefully it's a sign of progress that she was able to attend, but the weight gain may well be explained by anti depressant medication.
Zara and Lady Louise looked amazing!
Lady Louise was best-dressed! Gorgeous dress and she wore it beautifully.
I liked the pop of brighter purple shoes. Charlene gets big applause simply for being there, and a nice short haircut that suits her well.
I was pleased to see her there. The outfit was not a good fit (probably looked great in the mirror before she started out) but overall, she looked lovely I thought.
Lady Louise and Zara Phillips definitely led the way on May 6th.
Princess Catherine looked stunning. I thought Sophie looked wonderful. I loved her dress & headpiece. Lady Louise looked fabulous & a true royal lady. She's a beautiful young lady. Zara was stunning in blue; that's definitely her color!
Lady Louise looked awesome. ❤
I thought the Princess Royal was Extraordinary especially loved Her green velvet Cloak . Loved how She swished it!! Then Removed it put on Spurs mounted her Horse to protect Her Brother the King as His Gold Stick in Waiting. Not one Other Royal was as well placed with or without a Feather in Her Hat 🪶🎩🗡️
Anne, the Princess Royal is a wonder woman. She's the best. Love her!
Poor Princess Charlene, she always looks so miserable. I agree with you about Princess Mary, she is one of my favorite royals as she is an Australian.
As an Aussie, I must say princess Mary always does us proud. She is stunning, elegant and perfectly poised. A true beauty. Lucky Denmark
Agree.💯. She has it all.intelligene beauty and brains. She is not just a walking clothes horse.
I agree! Mary is a beautiful crown princess.
And I am fairly sure that the jewellery she is wearing is not turquoise set in diamonds but opals set in diamonds. Opals for Australian.
Princess Charlene’s health issues would play into her look. When living in the spot light and things aren’t copasetic, it’s hard to look spot on. She is a beautiful woman. It is sad to see her in such a “beige” place. God bless her.
For me, the beautiful 19 year old Lady Louise wins hands down.
You're too young to know this, but she looked straight out of the movie My Fair Lady.
I can only speak for myself… being 54 I agree it does look like it came from the movie! Audrey Hepburn was my favorite!
Princess Mary of Denmark was my favorite of the royals precisely because of the purple and turquoise combination. For the event the day before, she also paired a turquoise clutch bag with a coral dress. So yes, turquoise goes beautifully with purple as well as with red. I have even seen it paired with green and it works.
As a dweller of the Arizona Desert, I confirm that turquoise goes well with any color, any skin tone. It's the best color.
Crownprincess Mary!
That lovely coral dress... Mary wore it at her daughter's communion last year. And she wore the clutch for the first time at Albert and Charlene's wedding. She's definitely the fashion recycling queen!!
Love her, but then I’m an Aussie so might be a bit biased 🇦🇺❤️
Turquoise also looks amazing with deeper yellow hues eg saffron yellow.
I have the feeling that the last thing on Charlene's mind was what she was wearing. Whatever trauma she is going through appears to be consuming her. She seems to be deteriorating mentally before our very eyes. It doesn't seem that her husband is able to even fake being supportive of this unfortunate woman. What a sad situation. 💔
I think she stays with him to be with the children. She left them with him once, I believe, and then came back. I don't see him letting her take the children with her if she leaves him.
@@deebell8727 As well he should not if she is mentally ill. That’s not a criticism of her just a fact she’s not well and he’s not wrong to protect the children. It’s sad but he needs to be the adult.
@ladyelainefairchild3546 Yes, I agree with that also if it is true. Unfortunately, sometimes people with power and money can say and do things to hurt others. Maybe he just said she had mental issues??
Charlene just looks so sad.

Lady Louise Windsor’s outfit was one of my favorites, so was her mom, and Catherine, Camilla and Charlotte.
Camilla poi proprio no... non è mai stata elegante nonostante gli sforzi dei suoi sarti...
I also loved seeing the traditional clothing of the non-European countries.
I as well.
yes ❤
Missing Crown Princess Kiko in this list. She looked sooo elegant and radiant. The Japanese couple cought my eye in the church with their impeccable posture, always a kind smile on their faces.
They caught my eye too. Elegant and had kind faces.
As a regular person who deals with my own depression, let alone family loved ones, I can't imagine being a public figure and enduring through the struggles of mental illness, being in the world fish bowl.
Mary reminds me of Catherine. They carry and look similar ❤.
Hi Brittany.
I heard on one of the news networks that Catherine's headpiece was made by a lady who had help starting up from The Princes Trust, which if true was lovely. ❤
Zara gets my vote ,she looked gorgeous absolutely breathtaking 💞💓💓💕💗
Lady Louise looks absolutely gorgeous!
I think Princess Charlenes outfit would have been saved by an interesting hat that did not emphasize her uber short hair or worked with it. The hat looked like an afterthought. It was wonderful to see her there.
I agree. A bigger hat to balance things would have done it, really, but I applaud her for being there! Hope she is getting better.
@asbisi I hope she is getting better as well. The first photo of her I saw the day before, i saw what looked like a genuine smile. Sooo good to see!🙏🙏
Hat looks like an English muffin.
I Agree Re: Her Appearance From The Night Before. Her Dress, Also, Was SO Much More Becoming On Her In Both Style and Darker Color.
Just Being Out in Public, Seems To Be Very Stressful For Her; So Attending Such a Famous 'World-Wide Event", Must Have Been Pure Torture For Her. 😱. Praying It Does Not Trigger Some Type of Relapse For Her. She Does Appear SO Fragile. 💔❤
Totally agree..
Marys shoes are fine, it matches the outfit by being similar in color. When you have a bold color, its harder to pull off bold matching shoes. It becomes too much.
But if she was wearing all red, it would look perfect if she had matching red shoes. Its easier on the eyes due to red being essentially brighter than the deep purple.
I loved the shoes 👠 too.
I agree. I thought the shoes were fine. Crown Princess Mary is an impeccable dresser.
@AB-nk6sm I wanted to say the same thing. I felt Princess Mary's brighter purple shoe colour was a deliberate choice. These ladies ALL attend enough formal events through the year to have their preferred styles worked out. Even if formal wear is not really their thing!
Thought that her shoes were fine, too. They added more interest than if they'd been exactly matched. (Not that an exact match can't look great, but these worked).
I think her name is Penny Mordant she carried the sword and had embroidered epaulets on her hat and shoulders. I loved her dress if you could find out who the designer is. Thank you Brittany.
She was so impressive!! She was dressed perfectly and worked out to be ready for her flawless participation. I have a new hero.
Penny Mordaunt commissioned a teal-coloured dress from the London based label Safiyaa and a hat from the milliner Jane Taylor. Both featured a fern motif embroidered by the atelier Hand & Lock who worked overtime to change all the cyphers on the uniforms in the lead up to the coronation.
I agree, her whole appearance was perfection ❤. Her role was very important & was performed brilliantly. ❤❤
Yes, I thought she looked so regal, when I first saw her I was like, wow, this woman is fierce! Then I found out she was former military, Kudo’s to her, her outfit was impeccable!
She looked amazing. Just absolute perfection in her outfit. The colour was right, the style was right, the embroidery, the hat!!!! A perfect, perfect look.
I think Mary’s shoes are the same colour, but the textured velvet makes it appear brighter than her dress
Oh no! My favourite look was Princess Mary’s and I loved the shoes, lol. Oh well that’s what makes fashion so much fun!
Crown Princess Mary is always immaculate. I loved the shoes.
Here is a little information on the turquise jewellery set that Crown Princess Mary of Denmark wore at the coronation. The set was given to her as a 50's birthday present by Quen Margrethe. The set was originally owned by Katherine the Great. So as you see there is a lot of symbolic hints in this jewellery set. As to the purple shoes. It is a photo. Therefore it can be hard to really know how the shade of the shoes would work in real wiev. Besides that there is the case of different fabric. I think our Crown Princess nailed her look perfectly and in a way both Margrethe and the great Katherine were present at the coronation.
I do too.~ The Crown Princess Mary of Denmark was positively gorgeous. I think the author is a bit too critical.
I thought the purple shade was too oppressive and dark.
I loved her look, even the shoes lol
The Royals of Japan, Lesotho, Thailand, were among the best dressed and should have been included in the video.
And all the African and Carribean ladies.
Also Bhutan and Japan
I don't think either of Fergie and Andrews girls have ever had any idea of style.. have never seen them look stylish..
Totally agree Claudette. Their outfits were stunning and should've been included as opposed to the common western clothing.
Agreed, except I think it's maybe about what the British royals wore.. ive not watched all the video yet, so I could be wrong.
I loved Zara’s look. I think most of the women looked nice.
I think Ms. Zara had the coolest hat.
Pippa Middleton and Zara Tindall get my nominations for best dressed. Interesting how the dresses of Senior royals became a non- issue along with no tiaras because of their formal robes. The “uniform” drew attention to their faces and was a reminder that they have earned the honours, especially Princess Royal. So the fashion element / sartorial individualitynecessarily shifted to attendees.
Although Pippa isn’t royal, she can still be a fashion queen.
The York sister never look very good. They just don't have enough elegance or grace
@@user-te4ll1ge3t Eugenie is heavily pregnant so it's slightly difficult to get really fashionable maternity clothes.
@@cgkennedy So? In my opinion she never looks good, pregnant or not
Pipa is neither good looking, nor she dresses all that well. She always looks matronly.
Princess Mary is so stylish!
I agree that Mary and Zara hit it out of the park. Another of my favourites, not covered in this video, was Hereditary Princess Sophie of Liechtenstein. Her purple trifecta of coat, dress and hat was simple and super flattering. Like you, I’m not a fan of QLetizia’s hat. It reminds me of a lampshade and it looks too casual for the style of her dress. The main theme I noticed was that most women smartly chose single-toned (monochromatic) ensembles. They really do photograph the best. Lady Louise’s iris dress was a rare exception and it looked wonderful on her.
Yes, I hated the hat. It did look like a lampshade.
@@parkerbrown-nesbit1747 each to there own. Queen letizia hat was a throw back to 50s Dior. She looked wonderful true icon.
Not a royal BUT Pippa Middleton Matthews was totally smashing in a yellow dress with hat Also note the Japan head of state with the beautiful kimono. Brittany as usual you were on point
Yes, it would be nice to get some commentary on the more traditional fashions which are usually overlooked despite often being spectacular.
Loved the dress worn by the Queen of Bhutan while the King looked as handsome and beautifully dressed as he always does.
Turquoise works beautifully with pink as well. 🎉
I think when seam lines are out of line it's worth thinking that the lady may be wearing different underpinnings to when it was finally fitted. This is actually really important as underpinnings affect the shape and loaction of the assets! Remember eveyone for your next couture gown! 🤣
Queen Letizia was one of the best dressed guests there. Her look and the hat were inspired by vintage Dior designs. Like 50s -40s. I loved her look
@cabbage412 Aahhh ... bingo! Yours is the first comment I've seen to make that link. One commenter said Queen L's hat looked like a lampshade. Which is very much how the late-40s, Dior hats often looked. I did spot the short, bunched peplum on her outfit - but didn't make the connection. Thank you 👏
True it was a knock out.
Correct
I feel bad for anyone having to attend an occasion so far into a pregnancy. I just hope her health isn't suffering. The shoes were pure rebel, just trying to be a bit of her former self. Not a good idea with those surfaces to balance.
Don’t know how she was walking on those shoes, hope her hubby gave her a good foot massage after!
The shoes were ridiculous, especially since she was heavily pg.
I was waiting for this video and look forward to more! I’d love to see more of the Asian royalty, I thought they looked stunning.
Yeah..no comments on the Asian ladies that wore a more traditional look...
I've just made a similar comment they often get overlooked despite usually being immaculately turned out.
I’m rooting for Princess Charlene. She has really had a hard time the last few years but before she had challenges, she was one of the best dressers. I hope she comes back stronger than ever. I’m sure some might disagree, but Queen Rainia has been off her game this whole year. The brown dress was the best look this year imho. I agree with all your other assessments.
Rainia’s dress style wise was a disaster. Just awful.
Queen Rainia has become a very poor dresser. I think she is trying to out dress her teenage daughters. Her clothes are more in line of a teenager than a mature woman. She’s simply off her game as far as her pick of clothes this past year. She needs to find a better stylist and give up on her “too young” style. When I was about 16, my mother started borrowing my clothes and bragged to her friends that she could fit into my clothes. I finally talked to my dad about the problem of her wearing my clothes. He talked to her and I know she got really mad at him but she listened to what he said and stopped wearing my clothes. It took awhile but she went back to wearing her own clothes. It was terribly embarrassing for me to have my mother wearing my clothes. Especially when she wore my jeans and boots. This went on for a year or so but this may be the problem with Queen Rainia.
@@terryKessler42719 la mode est tres moche de + en + .. on degrade l humain pour mieux styler son chien .. lamentable société marketing ..
I think the one pic of Charlene with all the ripples, that is just a bad photo, maybe there was wind then.
It looks much nicer in other shots of it. Her expression is sad, but I don't have a problem with that.
@@terryKessler42719 queen Rania dresses appropriately as a muslim queen. She does not dress as a teenager, no need. She is a truely beautiful woman. We all have differing tastes.
I think Beatrice looked amazing, and my favorite parts were the perfect tailoring and the sleeves! Classic, chic, and young! The color was the ice on the cake ❤
Agree!
I also think Beatrice looked really nice.
The bigger sleeves is all to fashionhad
I also loved princess Beatrice outfit ! I think her fashion has been on point for a long time time now !
Agree
Turquois and coral go well together also Brittany
Queen Letizia looked like a dream. What a woman!
Omg, I wondered who that was with Albert, I never thought in a million years it was...his wife. She's obviously on some very serious psychotropics, oh dear I'm horrified. That poor women needs to be released, to do whatever it is that she at least thinks she wants to do. Let her go, she is not good for her children like this...😭..this is a travesty.
Princess Charlotte was definitely best dressed on the day
Princess Charlene’s hat was the absolute worst for her hair style and fade coloring.
Poor Princess Charlene!
She has been so ill and still
does not look like her old

I, for one, am so happy that
she was able to attend!
I hope and pray that she

Beautiful always
Lady Louise Mountbatten-Windsor was my absolute favorite!💯
I think theres NO worse dressed at the coronation time ... Its just their style all of them looked their best and i admire PCharlene for showing her respect to KCharles lll
Eugenie came pretty close though
Zara & Lady Louise knocked it out of the park!
I didn't like Princess Charlene's Coronation look BUT I really loved her look for the pre coronation reception that blue one shoulder was beautiful.
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Princess Charlene’s pre coronation outfit was beautiful and she looked fabulous
The summary of Princess Charlene is the very last thing this lovely woman needs to read! Cruel....Sorry, whatever happened to sensibility and kindness.!
Lady Louise and princess charlotte are definitely best dressed of the day! 👏🏻👏🏻
Purple outfit was stunning loved the purple shoes made a very elegant line .
I've loved all of your recent Coronation coverage and thank you for doing a fashion video! I have to say that of all the Royal ladies, Zara Tindall has the best hat game! Please do a hat video!
Yes! So many people go on and on about the BRF, but not the guests.
I totally want to see this, there were so many wonderful dresses.
There were, especially from the royal ladies!!
I liked Lady Louise’s dress. I love, floaty, non clingy outfits myself. If Princess Charlene is poorly with depression then she did staggeringly well to be there. And when one is Ill in that way, clothes are the last thing on ones mind, believe me.
I’m not a fan of ladies wearing hats with their hair hanging down and loose. The hair looks better in a chignon or plait or even a very slick pony tail when wearing a hat or headpiece.
I loved to see Princess Margaret's daughter. Lady Chatto is so like her
I would have liked to have seen the Queen of Bhutan and Empress of Japan outfits. I enjoyed this video.
Me too! Maybe in another video
I absolutely agree. The Queen of Bhutan especially is so elegant and beautiful!
kiko from japan is not emperss
You are wrong
her husband is emperor s younger brother
emperor hirohito and his wife didn't attend
The Japanese Rep was the Crown Princess . Not the Empress
Princess Eugenie's shoes on wet surfaces are crazy
Lady Louise's dress was originally worn by mom, Sophie. They are obviously the same size as it fits very similarly on both mom and daughter. A lovely dress.
❤Maybe clothes isn't Princess Charlene most important values in life.If she isn't feel well, she can feel proud and be glad she was able to be in UK,with the RF and KC'S coronation 😊❤ It can be a medicine for her😊
👍❤
Princess Charlene is recovering from a serious illness and depression. She has always presented herself impeccably, this outfit looks like it was chosen by a third party. Totally understandable!!
As for Queen Letizia's hat, I have a Tupperware jar just like it!! I bet I paid less!! lol
I agree that it looks like someone else is choosing Charlene's outfits and they are going for a classy, traditional look, even if that's not what suits her style. I'm glad to see her out, but she still looks like she's really going through it. Depression just makes everything worse and she seems to be stuck there. I hope she does better soon.
Don't care for the hat.
@@Laurtew I think she's just very unhappy.. it's past depression..
Praying for Charlene and her husband. It was great that they attended.
Her hat looks like a lamp shade
The details I loved the most are on Camilla’s dress. The embroidered Bluebell and Beth rescue dogs on her hem.
I actually went 'awwww' when I read about her doggies on the dress.
Hi Brittney!!! I loved Catherine PoW Headdress and dress and Charlotte looked like Catherine in miniature!!! Lady Louise is blossoming into a beautiful young Lady!!!
Lady Louise looked very pretty. Apparently the hat was hand-dyed to match with the flowers on her dress.
Princess Charlene looks splendid, considering what she has experienced during the past year. Lady Sarah Chatto looks impeccable!
Happy you are utilizing this channel again!
Thank you Brittany. This video was definitely FUN!
You’re so welcome!!
Poor Princess Charlene. She looks so defeated.
I always love seeing lady Sarah. Always classy
I really think Princess Charlene is very unhappy. It seems to me that she was forced to Marry Prince Albert. That is my opinion on the matter.
I think Princess Charlene has been unhappy since she married Prince Albert. When she was crying during the wedding ceremony I thought it was a bad sign. I also think she stayed in South Africa due to other reasons and not sinus problems. I’m waiting for her to leave him and go back to South Africa. The only thing keeping her with him is her children. I believe she is so sad that she will leave her children with him and go home.
My late cousin cried at her first wedding. It (the marriage) ended a few years later.
@@terryKessler42719 I thought the same thing!
I love when the Royal ladies decide to wear similar things. Like everyone wearing burgundy at the Christmas concert. And Sophie, Charlotte, and Catherine all wearing ivory dresses and similar headpieces to the coronation. It really shows unity in the family.
I find it rude to disparage Princess Charlene- she’s been through so much - even more so than anyone is aware- it was a profound show of strength and respect that she attended at all
exactly. This girl thinks she's Wendy Williams or Joan Rivers. Plain nasty and rude. Charlene is ill, duty bound and trying her best.
It's been a long time haven't heard about Princess Charlene
Thankful for this video! I love it when you do these. Thank you💕
Fun video! I do think the purple shoes look fine.
I think Charlene continues to have emotional struggles, she may be on medication that's causing problems with her usually svelt body. She was a champion swimmer and you can see she still has those large swimmer's shoulders.
I wish you had also commented on the African Royals who were present like the Queen of Lesotho, the Queen of Swaziland and the Queen from Ghana all of whom had stunning looks at the coronation service. There were also some Asian Queens. It's good to reflect the full spectrum when reviewing such an international event. Otherwise I enjoy your channel.
Yes
Here, here! But they probably weren't wearing "designers" this content creator knows anything about. Nor does she know how to speak on non-European dress/regalia.
The queen of Spain knocked them all out.A true fashion icon. 👏🏻👏🏻 1 15:56 ❤Gabrilella windsor was also a standout👏👏
❤Maxima’s dress appeared ecru to me. Minimizing bras are terrific when one is large breasted and wearing something form fitting.
I was so excited to watch this video! Though I found myself liking many more outfits than you did. I am NOT a fashion person, however, so it would be helpful (to ppl like me) if you could explain more about why something doesn't work or what would work, a little bit more. It just seemed there was a lot of "just not a fan of this" or "it just doesn't work for me", which is not easy to interpret (since I personally am liking most of these outfits). Also, the men's outfits were very handsome and interesting, I thought! And I would have loved to hear more about them. But most of all, appreciate this content so much!!
In my view, it's mostly about how well something fits & flatters the body type. When the material is pulled too tight, or too loose across the bust, or shoulders, for example. Good tailoring can be seen in how something fits.
Another important element is color & color combinations, which should compliment a person's hair & skin color.
The type of fabric is key also. For example, the lightweight, filmy fabric in that soft floral pattern of Lady Louise's dress is perfect for her slim frame & delicate facial features. That same dress on Eugenie right now would look like she were wearing bedspread.
Sorry for writing a book here, but I love fashion & often it's simply a matter of your own personal preferences. That's kinda what makes it so much fun. For instance, I don't mind the sleeves on Beatrice's dress, but that color is awful on a redhead. The same dress in a different color could've made all the difference for me.
It’s so subjective and just personal likes or dislikes. I’m like you, I liked most of the dresses too. I loved Victoria, Crown princess of Sweden’s dress, for example, and Brittany often dislikes her dresses when I mostly like them. So, just preference… I think. Of course, I’m a big fan of Victoria so maybe that plays into it a bit.
@@kathykoeven I have to agree. I just adore Crown Princess Victoria.
The princess dresses were adorable
I love the puff sleeves
To be heavily pregnant must be so hard
I don’t agree with ur comment abt their dresses
Princess Mary looks awesome and I think you’re just looking for something to pick at because I don’t think the shoes were a fail - from the photo the colour looks to be purple definitely not plum as I know it??
Great analysis! I am worried about Princess Charlene.
