Meghan could care less about the Invictus Games and Soldiers. She went to the games to kick off the Tig and wear the brands that are paying her. Meghan Markle has no class.

Hws blatant merchandising backfired. Instead of moving into the world of influencers and maybe fashion leaders, she came across as a rumpled mess. The Invictus games were a turning point for this couple. People are tired of them and don't want to see them.

I have to say: I think the poop colored wrinkled Gumby pants goes down as one of her worst outfits EVER. I used to think it was the Kermit goes to Church outfit, but that green color was flattering at least.

She totally blew me away when she intervened during a moment of Harry placing a medal on a female disabled veteran. She literally stepped in between PH and recipients the proceeded to push distance between Harry and recipient. That for me was the cut off point for me. Not just low buttoned dress showing bra inappropriateness, both shorts were also very inappropriate and disrespectful in Germany apparently. I saw a German comment about it. Unlike some other Western countries, shorts as short as they were are simply not worn in public like this, only considered OK at the beach. So, I know you thought the first outfit with shorts were OK but maybe you wouldn't have if you'd known it was culturally inappropriate of her to wear the shorts.
It is largely the same across Europe. Shorts are something you wear at the beach.

So true, I remember the olive green number she wore for Louis' Christening. Every other person was in shades of blue or white. She just had to stand out and be obstinate. So, I don't believe they told her to do anything. She wouldn't have followed the rules anyway.
Rather a shame, as she wears bright colors and jewel tones well- she’d still be a mess, but flattering colors would’ve helped her.

Her refusing to wear the invictus games merch is emphasised by the fact Harry wears it. They look disconnected. If they both wore the invictus polos and jeans they’d look more like a couple. Lord help her she can’t style herself at all. Marching in front of the veterans in short shorts and flip flops while they were in full uniform was disgusting.

The clothes were a mess. The brown outfit was particularly bad. An Invictus polo with some nice jeans would have been appropriate. What was particularly interesting to me was Harry’s demeanor when he is with her. He just seems tense and annoyed when she is around. IMO.

My hubby and I were discussing this. He said that the 2 channels I watch never have anything nice to say about the Meg. I pointed out that the fashion houses that she was wearing would probably be paying her to NOT wear their clothing because she just looks horrible in how she wears almost everything. He was confused because he literally doesn't pay attention. I was talking about the good, the bad, and the rugby podcast with the Wales and Princess Anne. I was mentioning that Princess Anne was more knowledgeable about rugby than 2 of the hosts realized, and hubby had no clue who she was, so I said that her mom was queen Elizabeth, blank look. The late queen, who passed away last year! Oh, her. Deep sigh.

He thought that he couldn't afford it. He can. I also mentioned that his ex-wife wasn't going to be able to get her hands on it, they weren't married long enough, and he didn't start until years after the divorce, evil of me, correct? Yes Bermuda shorts or maybe a tennis skirt would be more flaterring. Plus stylists have said she needs to tailor the bottom of the shorts to make tje openings less wide to fit her rather skinny legs.
Megan appears to never take advice and does what she wants in style. Now, it seems that some stylists are coming out and not wanting her to merch their items. I think if a person styled something and she does not iron it she should be blackballed from never wearing something from that stylist again.

I agree with your analysis. I can't understand why someone with broad shoulders and a short neck would wear the polo neck outfits, aside from the fact that I hate that style - it is horrible IMO. For me, the worst offense was the black ankle strap flats with the white jeans and sweater vest. That, to me, is a perfect example of how she always misses the most obvious solutions to her fashion fails. How do you not put on a pair of white shoes with that outfit?! It is incredible to me and then, it was also pointed out that the way she did that unnecessary tuck of her top draws the eye right to the fly sticking out on her jeans. You’d think a woman her age would’ve worked out what does and doesn’t suit her. She chooses high waisted ⅞ pants that highlight her flaws and shirt dresses that just look very matronly. Tie belts and collars really don’t suit her very well. Yet she can look fantastic in simpler pieces.

She is short waisted with a boxy center body (like me). Those shirt dresses with their self-tie belts are excellent for emphasizing these qualities. The mid rise jeans were far more flattering, especially as she wore them in a monochromatic way with matching tops.

I'd love to be a fly on the wall at the Harcle residence, wherever that is now, when Haz reviews the press photos and videos of Meg's Invictus fashion choices and compares them to Catherine's classy, stylish elegance. He knows what classy looks like - his mother epitomized it, and he grew up surrounded by it. When he first met Meg, she DID present as classy, and even after they married, some of her fashion misfires could arguably be put down to inexperience. But what must he think of his wife flip flopping beside him wearing a short and childish romper suit and scuffs while there in a professional capacity?

I didn't like any of the outfits. Like others I felt she treated it like it was all about her which disrespected the veterans. I think Harry is finding out he has been used to further her ambitions. She'd throw anyone under the bus to get ahead because she couldn't do it alone. He's probably pining for the old days when he felt his family didn't love him. Now he's stuck and more unhappy than he was. I think he is realizing his family had been there for him but he was too narrow sighted to see it. I feel for the little ones. They only have these 2 morons to look after them.

Overall if this was her attempt to do a fashion runaway with all these changes in between sporting events, (even though much of it was "affordable")it was a fail. Her looks were wrinkled, uninspired, and ill-fitted. No one looks to her as an ambassador of fashion. No fashion house or brand wants her to represent their clothes.

Agreed. I’m not a fan of cape dresses at ALL, but Catherine pulls them off. She just wears clothing well. I hate shirtdresses with a passion too but I wouldn’t be surprised if I could stomach one if Catherine wore it. “The woman makes the dress”. It’s also an energy. Some people just don’t wear clothing well no matter what it is.

She always reminds me of my favorite show, "What NOT To Wear". I would DEFINITELY nominate her for a good RE-STYLING from Head to Toe. She mangles EVERY SINGLE Rule when it comes to dressing your SHAPE -- accentuating your good features, minimizing the not-so-good features -- Using TAILORING to make it perfect, etc.. It's not Rocket Science, after all! She is obviously SO SURE of her "Style 🤢🤮", that she keeps repeating the same mistakes. For example, WHAT is with her obsession with the button-up shirts pulled WIDE OPEN at the top, sleeves sloppily pushed up?? Is it an obsessive "Rachel Zane Flashback" from her days on Suits?? Whatever it is, it's NOT flattering!! I could go on and on, but I think you get my drift.....😏
Her biggest sin by far has always been wearing the wrong bra... usually it is a strapless when the outfit does not even require it and too tight, creating unsightly bulges or otherwise sticking out. She may not have the ideal figure but it is definitely not hard to dress it flatteringly since she is so slim. You can create the illusion of curves more easily than downplay them. There is never an excuse for her to be accidently over-sexy. She is deliberately playing up what she believes will make her sexy but she gets it all wrong. Showing too much skin is tacky and desperate. I wish she stopped trying to be the centre of attention all the time. Instead she should have just stuck with the branded merch and tried playing a supporting role for a change. She is her own worst enemy.

For me, the shorts outfits she wore were the worst for an event like the Invictus games. I don’t like her but would have been able to applaud her wearing Invictus games merch. Simple is not bad. Why not look sporty at a sporty event?
And those Aquazzura pumps are 1/2 to 3/4 inches to large, and all her shorts were to short for a family event, longer shorts (walking) would have been more appropriate.

Out of curiosity, I visited the Invictus merch site. There’s so many shirts she could’ve worn! Heck, she could’ve at least slapped on a pin or patch. Something. Talk about easy packing: one nice, simple dress for closing ceremonies, lots of Invictus shirts, jeans, modest walking shorts, 2-4 pairs of earrings, sneakers, and maybe loafers.

I do not think she has deals with any of these brands. I think she is trying to get deals by showing how wonderful she looks in these clothes. J. MM invariably looks very badly put together because she does not listen to anyone’s advice because she believes she knows best. And when she looks in the mirror she fails to see what she actually looks like but sees what the garment looked like on the model. Since she does not have a model figure the results are generally disastrous.

Most of us try to dress to our body shape. We know our shape and try to work with it, within the resources available to us. Ms Markle, for whatever reason, doesn't do this. She is an inverted triangle, has very wide shoulders, is high-waisted, small-busted and has long, extremely thin legs. No doubt people have attempted to advise her on how to dress flatteringly with these attributes but clearly, she refuses all advice or her stylist is too terrified to contradict her.
