On day one on nazegane, trader rekt will always have a clear quest for the mushroom mining company mine, it will have 25 mushrooms throughout, giving you 2 mushrooms per a mushroom you harvest, allowing you to get 50 mushrooms per sweep. So accept the quest, finish the poi before triggering the quest and get the mushrooms, then do it again for another 50 mushroom while doing the quest. This will net you 100 mushrooms total which will give you 2 food a piece, for a total of 200 food on day one. That is the same as getting 20 grilled meat on day 1. If you put a point into living off the land before you do this method, you will get 200 mushrooms, netting 400 food on day one. You can use this food to get you through the first couple days while you stockpile meat and find your cooking pots, grills, and homecooking magazines to make grilled meat and bacon and eggs. Also, theres always a hidden stash in the ceiling of the cave. There are also pois that have a chance to spawn cooking pots on the kitchen counters. Take note of these for your next playthrough so you can get a cooking pot right away. If you cant find one at all, just go to a neighborhood with teir 1-2 pois houses, and only loot the kitchens, kitchen cabinets always have a chance to spawn a cooking pot, while grills and stoves always have a chance to spawn the cooking grill. Same logic applies to alot of early game essentials like tires in garages, auto shops and gas stations for a bike or minibike, or acid in chemistry piles for crafting tires. Every block is destructable and will give you a certain resource, and they have certain tools that are supposed to be used to make it easier to get more resources from that block, so experiment. If you need something like an engine, or honey, go track those side beginner quests to have the game automatically mark anything that will give you those things with a yellow markers when you get within like 50 meters of it.
Ctrl+Right click on the map to teleport is huge, I've always just fiddled around finding the coordinates and manually typing them into the console to teleport :O
I discovered, by accident, if you make a level 6 stone shovel you can repair it with rocks instead of a repair kit. It works just fine. It one shots dirt. I don't see the value of making an iron or steel shovel. I've played the ps4 version for 7 or 8 years and I always just used a stone shovel until it broke, then made a new one. Version 1 is good, but I've had way more fun playing the old version.
I am using the AGF - V1.0 - HUD PLUS mod. It changes the look of the UI and has the POI name built into the mod. If you search that name on nexus mods then it should come right up.
Go into controls settings and choose the vehicles tab. Not sure what the boost is by default, but you should change it to your sprint button for obvious reasons.
It’s R1/RB on console. If you use one finger on each trigger set I recommend going into settings and remapping vehicle boost to LB/L1 (swap the horn and boost) so you can accelerate with your right hand and boost with your left hand.

Thank you for the sub! I am happy to hear that the video was able to help out.
As far as failing quests by going to far, your check mark in the upper right hand of the screen will turn yellow as you get further away

Hey! Great Video, helped me a lot, Thank you!
I got a quick question, what mod are you using at Tip # 42, where it says, which quest POI it is?
I am using the AGF - V1.0 - HUD PLUS mod. It changes the look of the UI and has the POI name built into the mod. If you search that name on nexus mods then it should come right up.
@@YokoJrGaming Thank you so much!
Nice guide 8)
Thank you!
What HUD mod do you use?
I am using hte AGF hud from nexusmods
How do you go fast in a vehicle on consoles? I try the sprint button but it doesn't toggle
Go into controls settings and choose the vehicles tab. Not sure what the boost is by default, but you should change it to your sprint button for obvious reasons.
You have to be in run before entering the vehicle. If you're in then exit toggle then return. I play on xbox
Press right bumper
On PlayStation press R1
It’s R1/RB on console. If you use one finger on each trigger set I recommend going into settings and remapping vehicle boost to LB/L1 (swap the horn and boost) so you can accelerate with your right hand and boost with your left hand.
New penesa mountains with 0% mountains lmao
The 7d2d gods hate me. infected, started quest, 11 stumps and a full game day later zero honey 🍯 🤬🤬🤬
The game is making you struggle at the start! Hopefully you will be able to find some meds soon to clear the infection.
