However, as a former Celtic player he could and should have been a bit more respectful to the fans that had worshiped him just a few years earlier (for example, maybe explaining why things transpired the way they did and certainly not saying "I'll never play for another British club" and then signing for their bitter rivals within 2 weeks.) This whole fiasco also reflected badly on the Celtic management; business should have been done more professionally. Just my humble opinion...and I come from a family of die-hard Celtic fans.
