the most balls to the wall batshit insane fps of this year is finally getting the recognition it deserves, thank you for covering this absolute chaos of a game also i just wanna add that the game does include voice acting altho its only quips that the grunts say to taunt, my favorite being "get ready for your hospital bills"
Such an excellent title. Was hyped from seeing it on Twitter for the first time, to when the demo launched, and finally full release. Top notch music, excellent gunplay, and immaculate vibes
Not really, this game can actually be quite relaxing once you get into the flow of it, and allows you a lot of freedom and time to breathe due to the way encounters are usually set up. Ultrakill, meanwhile, requires you to use every tool in your arsenal at all times, and highly encourages going fast precisely due to its claustrophobic design.
@commentingchannel9776Right. If anything this game feels more like a palate cleanser for games like Ultrakill, Killbug, or any of the other "sweaty palm" movement shooters.
Their first game Severed Steel also rocks hard, it is shame that it was mostly overlooked. Because it was small FPS revolution as Doom Eternal, but it did not have such coverage by youtubers. But man, Echo Point Nova is my new favorite FPS and it will get workshop in future.
Bought this game day one. One of the best FPS I’ve played in a while. Movement feels amazing. I’ve never played anything with this kind of movement. Gunplay is awesome. Huge variety of weapons and unlocks, plenty of variety to try out. Exploration combined with the movement is so satisfying and rewarding. Boss fights were some of my favorite parts. I’m honestly surprised how slept on this game is. It is a mindless, arcadey fps that is 100% worth the full price.
if you 100% the game you get a special skin for all your weapons, I really like the way it looks. also apparently steam workshop content will seamlessly integrate into the world when downloaded which will be really neat.
For (parts) of this kind of movement in VR you should take a look at the VR game Jet Island if you haven’t heard of it. Severely underrated (or at least deserved more people knowing about it) little experiment that was one of my intros to VR in 2018. Boss fight mechanic is fundamentally the same though much less gunplay.
Duuuuuddddeeee I've been obsessed with FPS since Wolfenstien 3D and Catacombs, I'm almost 40. This is my favorite video game of all time. It's so fucking good.
Have you ever heard of the game Brazilian Drug Dealer 3 : I Opened a Portal to Hell in the Favela Trying to Revive Mit Aia I Need to Close it? Cheers love ur channel!
The silencer feels like a wasted slot honestly, enemies are omnipotent ao them not being able to hear you is completely pointless, just a small gripe with an otherwise great game
this looks really cool though my only problem is that there doesn't seem to be any really cool or unique weapons around, just the generic smg pistol ex...

This game makes Ultrakill looks like a slow-paced tactical shooter.

I finished the game with a buddy and it was some of the most fun I've had in a video game, I can't recommend it enough

I picked this up day 1 and 100%ed in one sitting. Literally couldn't put it down, can't wait for more content.
I don't know why I'm reminded of Code Iyoko

The bosses are like Sonic Frontiers bosses, which is cool
2:30 Oh, no we're not 'getting old' we're getting "even older" XD
This gives me major Jet Island vibes (compliment)
Pretty cool game you covered
I love this game. I got it day 1 and 100% it in a few days. Easily my goty.

Very cool
Great soundtrack, man! Love your stuff, from both games and independently!

Best money I've spent on a game in a long time, it's just sheer fun.
very similar to a VR game called Jet Island, except this one seems more realized.
Counter Strike surfing map made into a stand alone game :D

2:30 -- now THIS is the parasocial relationship i want from youtubers.

There are guns like a full auto, double barrel pistol. You would be incorrect.
@Jarekthegamingdragon i didn't play the game so i could be wrong, a lot of the videos i saw of it mostly include the same weapons.
@@Snowmaninadesertdude play the game first before you have your opinions
@@nonenothing4412 hay i gotta know what im buying.
Kinda reminds me of that one VR game where you grapple hook all over a giant map and take on massive bosses, I think it was Windlands?
hi i'm in this game :)
Wait, were you the enemies mate?
@@osbornethaumiel yes
@@bovinleephann Holy, that's why the screams were so familiar. My friend pointed it out after she recently got Trepang2.
I'm still waiting for another real tribes game personally
This game by no means tries to scratch the same itch as Tribes did, it only takes some light inspiration from it.
I thought this was nova from gameloft.
lmao,
Bruh the game looks nothing like N.O.V.A. lmao
