This is a truly excellent installation vid. Thank you for creating and sharing it. I'll be reviewing it when I get my 765, because a tail tidy will likely be my first mod. Threw you a sub as well. 👍
Thank you so much for the kind words! I'm so glad you liked the video! 🫶🏻 Congrats on the 765! You'll love it. If you check out the Version 2 video I posted I added some cool features to protect the wires and inverted the mounting bolts so you don't see the silver plate.
Great video. I also have the Brogue tail tidy on my '24 cosmic yellow RS. But I went with the Option 4 plug-and-play kit complete with Kellerman LEDs, which are really bright (and don't require a relay/resistor kit), and look great. Enjoy!
Very good clear instructional video on a 'How to fit'...l fitted a tail tidy to my Street Triple 675 a couple of years ago. Unfortunately here in Spain modifications such as these are not allowed by the ITV...(MOT)... same applies to fancy exhausts...so l will have to remove it every two years just to pass the test..... then refit!... My tail tidy is from Evotech. a UK company.
What a shame that the government makes you keep the motorcycle completely stock. It has appropriate license plate lights and everything I wonder why it's not legal in your country? Thank you so much for the compliment on my video I really appreciate it 😊
Love you video so much, helped a lot. just ordered my 24 yellow RS, waiting to pick up. thanks for the instruction and may i ask have you installed the oem heated grip? I want to install by myself, but the dealer told me i need to remove the tank. need some advice regarding that
Thank you so much for the kind comment and the compliment on my video! I really appreciate that, thank you! And when I ordered my bike I did purchase the heated grips, but because I purchased them at the time I ordered the bike, the dealer installed them for free. The heated grips work absolutely amazing! There are three levels of heat. The tank does need to be unbolted and raised upward so that the wires can run down the frame body and clip into the OEM heated grip connector in the bikes main wiring harness. Lifting and raising the tank is done much easier if you have an extra set of helping hands, the process is a little tedious but can be performed. But if you're uncomfortable it might be better to just have the dealer do it.
@@OhHeyItsBilly Appreciate for you detail explanation. so nice the dealer is willing to do it for free. My dealer told me it gonna charge 2hrs of labour cost in which almost same as the price of heated grip. i now want to cancel my order with them because on the website indicates the cruise control needs 30mins to install and active but the dealer told me it gonna cost me 1 hr of labour. just feel unhappy with the experience of extra cost they said like that.
@@provideogears3178 on no 🫤 I'm sorry about that. My dealer had mentioned to me, had I ordered the parts after the bike arrived they'd have to charge me labor for the install, but because I ordered it all at the same time the install was free. I also ordered the cruise control, but it was on a 6 week back order. I get that installed in 2 weeks! You can try to do the install yourself. It's not that difficult, but have a helper there to help you hold parts and not scratch anything.
I got the rear indicator light LED on the display dash after doing this. All of the lights work fine but it shows as a “bulb failure” in the owners manual. Did you experience this?
I didn't replace the OEM turn signals, I kept them. If you replaced the OEM turn signals, and you don't have the LED lights that have the resistors built in, you have to use a plug and play resistor. They sell them at Brogue motorcycles. Here's a link. broguemotorcycles.com/products/turn-signal-resistors-set-of-2-prewired-with-oem-triumph-connectors
@@OhHeyItsBilly thank you so much! this is exactly what I was looking for, and I'll confirm that you're correct it's the LED lights that are hyper blinking causing this error
@@stelkurtain_tm There ya go! This should fix the problem. You can always call Brogue and confirm it with them before you order. What I love about those resistors is they just plug into the factory wiring, so no splicing! 💪🏻
First off, we love the video and thank you for the support! Just a minor suggestion, the lower stock plate isn't required for this installation when you use the provided hardware. However this does work it's not how we designed it. Here's a link to our install video. Hopefully this clears up customer questions and emails:). ua-cam.com/video/XZokaKYT2AY/v-deo.html
@OhHeyItsBilly Love it, and thank you! We're getting a bunch of emails, which is why we felt we needed to comment. Thanks again! Keep the rubber side down and the shiny side up!
I think what happened when I did this original video was comes with four fasteners and I used two of them to fasten the turn signals on and it left me too short so I assumed they were spares and that you had to use the plate which has the threads built into it. Anywho, I made a second video showing how it was originally designed but you have to provide your own fasteners if you're going to use the factory turn signals.
Oh no ! I hope I didn't cause any bad confusion 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️ I was out here trying to make an informative video and stumbled on a different way ton install it haha I like your way, much better but the turn signals part threw me off haha I should have noted that better in the original video. I have a "version 2" to direct people to, or if it's too bad I can take this one down.
That's the connectivity module. It's an additional purchase from Triumph, and it allows you to connect your phone to the bike's dashboard computer for Bluetooth and navigation and stuff.
@@STPM222 no worries! Is kinda a cool little add on. I use my phone for GPS because I like seeing an actual map, and with the Triumph connectivity module it just gives you a turn by turn on the display. Some people like it. But what I do like is you can pair your headset if it's a late model Sena and can control music and volume and answer calls and all that from the handle bars. You don't have to reach up and touch the helmet anymore.
