I don’t sense a lot of engine braking but also won’t freewheel like some others. I know what you are talking about though. Some carts put you through the windshield when the foot comes off the gas. It’s not lithium, but i’ve looked into it and a lithium swap would be about 2k. I’ll wear these batteries out and by the time I do will prob be a lot cheaper to swap. Appreciate you watching!
@@JoeTheFarmer just watched your review and have to say the video you did that I watched I said that was cool that it had the 8volt batteries. Maybe a name brand but coming from China I would not trust the lithium. Shit look at how many Teslas have caught fire. More than people realize. Great looking cart..

Just got a Fault Code 31 on our new 2-month-old Racka golf cart. It stopped running in the middle of the road and I had to tow it home - only half a mile - we only use it to check our mailbox. Tractor Supply told me to call the manufacturer. The manufacturer said there is a problem with the charging port and that they will get back to me. (The display says it is at zero charge on the ACC key setting and 100% SOC - state of charge on the drive setting.) I always leave it connected it to the charger when not in use. I believe the batteries are AGM. We only have 26 miles on it after 2 months of use. Not a happy camper. Will advise on what the manufacturer says. After I parked it next to the house and plugged it in, I looked under the golf cart and didn't see anything. So I lifted the front seat to look at the batteries and smoke and flames about 6 inches high came from it. Two batteries and the plastic under the front seat were on fire! Called the manufacturer and they told me to return it for a full refund, which I did. I only had that one for about 2 months. Bought the first one on April 1st; maybe the wrong day to buy something! The store manager told me the new ones now have lithium batteries instead of the AGM batteries. As an electrician and an RF engineer, I offered to check the electrical system for free. My hunch is that the charging circuit is defective. I also noticed that some water can get into the battery compartment when it rains hard. We actually liked this golf cart, so it's a shame we had two bad experiences back-to-back. We are now researching other models and companies.
I had that issue once; charged it overnight and never had the issue again. I don't pretend to understand the ins and outs of the computer side of things; but hope yours is all good! Thanks for letting us all know.
Sometimes I wish I knew what I wanted. I like the low maintenance and passenger capacity of that machine. But a gas powered sxs has different advantages. Great video.
Great review, Joe. I believe my wife would absolutely love one of those for her needs. Not having to fool with gas and changing oil. Looks like a great little unit for sure. Thanks for sharing!!

Great video! I have a Club Car, it has a 2” lift kit and off road tires and it is the roughest riding vehicle I have ever driven! Works great to get to my deer blind!
Thanks man! Electric machines are game changers for hunting. I took this one to the blind a few times but that mini bike was super stealth! Hope you had a great season!!!
Your first video on this machine really sold me on it. The price point of this machine then sealed the deal. Even better than that, I just bought mine a few days ago on sale for $6,999.99 - $1,000 less than it originally sold for. The newer model is now out that comes standard with lithium batteries, but that one is $2,000 more than I just paid. The issues you pointed out in your first video were corrected by the manufacturer before I bought mine. There are no rattles and it has the onboard charger 🔌 so you just plug the cord into the side of it. They must have sent you a prototype machine for testing and they fixed those issues you pointed out before releasing to the public. Thank you for the information and demonstration of the product! It’s the perfect machine for my uses on my property and the low maintenance and quiet operation is definitely preferable to me, since I like relaxation and peace and quiet when I drive around my land when I come home from work.
Glad you found a machine you enjoy and a great deal!!! Always something newer and fancier, but you got a great machine and for a steal!!! Thanks for watching buddy
We bought the newer version with adjustable steering column and side charger. The parent company is Tao. These are sold under multiple names including Coleman. I bought ours at Walmart $7999. The o ly complaint I have is wheel hop. It has a bad tire or rim. It shakes on the road. Of course the warranty is a joke. But love the cart otherwise.

Hey Bob! This one is single axle drive too. It’s so light I have never spun the tires though. I bet hers is like that too. It’s a solid value for how much you get. Glad she likes her ride. That goes a long way for family harmony. 👍🏼😜
Where did you get the rack that you installed? We’ve had our 2024 model for about a week and would love to have more storage. Was wondering if there was a way to install a small trailer hitch?
Joe we’ve had our Racka 6 months and love it. Yes it rides rough off road and the top squeaks but for the money we just slow down. Want to buy a sporting clays/front basket and a gun rack. Any suggestions.
Very well said. Not sure on a front rack, but sporting clays sounds like a blast! We have a nice course here that I try to get to a few times a year. Not very good, but more fun than golf to me! God Bless!
Hey Joe, what’s the name and make of the basket you installed on the front inside windshield. I bought the golf cart also and want to put it on mine. Thanks in advance!
As far as I know living in florida in a beach community. I spoke like the local PD. He said they look for a DOT wind scene. That being said, remove the wind scene and whare eye protection, and no problem..
Where do you find one of these carts? The Tractor Supply website doesn't even list them. I'm in North Texas and Racka is built right here in Texas and no one at Tractor Supply know what I'm talking about.
They are in limited stores right now; but likely to grow into many others. If you ask your store manager to get one they should be able to. Or, if you let me know your local store I can ask them to ship one to that store for you to check out!
Awesome. My cart has the same square tube rack on back, but need to carry shovels, weedeater, etc. I'll get two and mount them similarly to yours. Can you get more than one shovel or rake, etc in a single jaw? @@JoeTheFarmer
I got 2 of the ones you had in your store. I’m hoping to carry a weedeater, pole saw and maybe a shovel/rake. Looks like they will handle it. That inner storage box looks great. I ordered the glovebox doors for mine. I’ve got the Lowe’s version. Kandi/coleman.
Hi Sharon, for legal reasons I suggest you never do that. But, just so you know; it's a connector above the rear drivers side wheel well next to the motor. ;). Congratulations on the purchase! It's so much fun!
Nice! Thought of you yesterday. We were at the TSC in Astoria Oregon! They had this unit out front for $9999. Almost took a photo to send to my buddy!! See you buddy!!👏🙌🚜🇺🇸
We just bought a Racka and are loving it. We’ve gone all over our property and we’re still at nearly 90% of battery. Very pleased, thank you for the great recommendation! Question: where is the best spot to attach a universal hitch? We are not very handy so it needs to be simple. :) Would the hitch you recommend for ATV work? It’s not available anymore but there are others like it. Thank you!
Hey! Glad you like it. For the money its a great value. I haven’t done the hitch, but look for something that will fit a Coleman or Tao cart. They are very similar. Have fun!
Any reason you chose this over the PDG cart with more features? I noticed they both have lead acid batteries, have you considered changing them for lithium-ion?
The PDG is about $2k more. Also, no desire at this time to swap as it has plenty of power for what we use it for. It's excellent at just running around the property. I never miss the power. When the batteries die in the future I'll replace with LiPho batteries. More stable.
Would these be good enough for a Hunter on 800 acres. My Buddy let’s me hunt his farm. I’d use it on farm roads. For hunting deer and getting to a pond to fish.
That much land; I’m looking for a bigger machine with more power. Check out my video on the TBoss 1000. You would really enjoy the size and power on that much land
I called the nearest Tractor Supply to me (200 miles away) and asked about these golf carts. I was told by the rude lady that answered the phone the she could assure me that Tractor Supply as a company does NOT deal in gold carts AT ALL! So needless to say TSC won’t be getting my business, but I’d really like to know where else I could buy one of these. I’m in Montana, so my options are limited.
Quick question for you since you have had yours for a few months on the farm now and used it hunting. How does it do on sand? We want to haul things up and down from our lake house to the beach. Would it get easily stuck in the sand?
Also I called Tractor supply in Bismarck, ND and they said they can't even find it as an available SKU to look up. I gave them the SKU you had in one of your videos #2283610. Are they still available? I am also trying to compare it to the Coleman Powersports Black Electric Golf Cart, which looks very similar, but I like the Racka better, and Tractor Supply has Massimo MVR2X Electric Golf Cart. Any input would be greatly appreciated!
Hey! Looking into the store issue. I sent over to them to get a response. As far as sand, I think it would be fine…but I haven’t tried it on sand. A very steep slope would be a struggle hauling; but a slight hill should be ok. Both the Racka and the Massimo are very nice carts. The massimo has more bells and whistles and a quieter roof. It’s very nice and the same price as the Racka. I would test them both and see which is more comfortable to you. The Racka and Coleman are basically the same cart. I like the Racka better too! I’ll let you know what I hear back.
Looking for the Racka in Bangor Maine. Walked into 2 different TS stores and no Rackas and they couldn’t find any in their system to order it. Looked at me like I was crazy. 😊 Any suggestions?
Much appreciated!! We bought one in Virginia and love it and now need one for our home in Maine. I am disabled and it helps me to get where I want to go.
@@JoeTheFarmer yes sir! And the only place I could find it in action was your video. I went about a week ago and they got a few now out front at tractor supply. But you put it to the test and I was sold on it. Thank you
After checking out many different carts, your video has me interested in possibly purchasing a Racka. Problem is, Tractor Supply customer service tells me they sell no such product. Plus, the Racka website has very limited information. Maybe someday I will get a return call from Racka customer service when they are interested in selling their products!

Is this something that you get used to? I really want to buy this cart for our big property but I’m afraid the pedal position might make it uncomfortable to drive? Please let me know your thoughts . Thanks for the fantastic video !!
Hey Tim! Thanks for reaching out. The foot pedal position is something I have heard others talk about. It doesn’t really bother me because I’m on different machines all day…but if it is not comfortable don’t buy something you won’t be happy with! I would ask if you can drive it around the lot for a while. Take your time! Even though thats a great price, it’s still a lot of money. Appreciate you watching!

A lot less weight with lithium. Surprised, you don't need that with what you do. Mine, $7,500. Tear yours up on hills. With lithium. And will do 45mph with a slight mod. Yeah, mine rated 25mph too. While there are newer technologies that can reduce the frequency of water additions, most traditional lead-acid batteries require water to beHowever, the frequency of water additions can vary depending on: Battery type: Sealed batteries, like AGM or gel batteries, require less frequent watering as they have a different construction that helps retain electrolyte. Usage: Batteries that are frequently discharged and recharged may need more frequent watering. Charging conditions: Overcharging can lead to increased water loss. DONT BUY IF YOU PLAN ON GETTING TAGS/LICENSE PLATES TO DRIVE ON STREET. Even though the 25mph qualifies it as a LSV, the manufacturer refuses to state that it travels at 25 MPH. Their claim of 20 mph maximum speed immediately disqualifies this product of being considered as a LSV. Manufacturer refuses to put the ACTUAL speed of 25 mph in writing. Said this is a golf cart only. When asked why any "golf cart" would need turn signals, break lights, seatbelts, brake lights and headlights......they claim these accessories as being an "added courtesy". Disappointed that the manufacturer is unwilling to provide the truth on their product. Stay away

where did you get the storage you installed above the steering wheel. That is pretty handy.
Amazon! I have a link in the video
What is the name of the rack on the back for shovels etc?
Hey! The rack comes with the machine; but I added some Kolpin g*n racks. Works like a charm!
Added the link to it in the store. www.amazon.com/shop/joethefarmer
Awesome. My cart has the same square tube rack on back, but need to carry shovels, weedeater, etc. I'll get two and mount them similarly to yours. Can you get more than one shovel or rake, etc in a single jaw?
@@JoeTheFarmer
I would get the dual holders. Just depends on how far you are going. The front rack is AWESOME. I would grab one of those too. Super handy
We just bought a racka and would like to know how to disable the reverse beeper. Any help would be appreciated.
Hi Sharon, for legal reasons I suggest you never do that. But, just so you know; it's a connector above the rear drivers side wheel well next to the motor. ;). Congratulations on the purchase! It's so much fun!
Have you tried hauling anything with it? I need something to haul feed out to the barn. I do have to go over a dam and up an incline.
A couple 40 lb bags of feed would be nothing. Not made for a trailer, etc…but it has a good bit of power.
Would/will it tow a small trailer. For yard clean up or maintenance?
Would tow a trailer without issues. As long as it isn’t a lot of weight uphill. But yard debris, leaves, etc would do great. 👍🏼
How dose it pull can it pull a small trailer or large deer? Also it is real expensive us poor hunters can't afford $8k?
You can get a used cart for less money brother. If you bag a big dear, totally worth dragging it out! But, the cart helps. Thanks for watching!
Also any idea if/when the 2024 might be released? Just wondering if they will make improvements that are worth waiting for? Thanks again Joe!
Hey, they have already made some great improvements. One is the charger is is now on board, and a few other upgrades. Not sure of anything on 2024.
Nice! Thought of you yesterday. We were at the TSC in Astoria Oregon! They had this unit out front for $9999. Almost took a photo to send to my buddy!! See you buddy!!👏🙌🚜🇺🇸
Thats awesome! They are reaching more stores for sure. They are pretty sweet machines! Hope all is well brother; Happy New Year!!!
BTW; this should be $8k. Not 9999
@@JoeTheFarmer Maybe it had extra goodies 🤣😜😅
@@tractorrookiecould be the pdg machine that has speakers, etc. 🤷🏻♂️
I saw the pdg cart at Shelbyville tsc for 8499.00.
Can you attach a trailer to this golf cart and haul things?
Sure thing. For light duty would work.
Where did you get yours? The tractor supply down here in the Rio Grand Valley Texas doesn't carry gas and can't seem to get one.
Mine was directly from Racka, but they are all over the stores here in Middle TN. Did you ask your local store manager if they could get one for you?
@@JoeTheFarmer yes, they were going to look into it. they never got back to me
Can you call the local store and get their actual store name and store number? Will forward that and see if a few can be sent that way
I called the nearest Tractor Supply to me (200 miles away) and asked about these golf carts. I was told by the rude lady that answered the phone the she could assure me that Tractor Supply as a company does NOT deal in gold carts AT ALL! So needless to say TSC won’t be getting my business, but I’d really like to know where else I could buy one of these. I’m in Montana, so my options are limited.
Wow. Yeah, she is mistaken. They sell lots of golf carts.
What is your local store?
@@JoeTheFarmer Billings Montana
Order online and have it shipped to that store
@@JoeTheFarmer So It's been a couple months...what did you hear back from TS?
Any suggestions or videos on how to make these go faster? My 2024 Racka RCG1 only goes 20mph. I'd like to get at least get 25mph out of it. Thanks
Not really sure; speed is state specific. It can be done, but not sure how
I just got it three weeks ago you answer first question
You mentioned in your first video that you'd tell us how to turn off the back-up/reverse beeper. How do you do that?
Disconnect the wire harness above the rear drivers side wheel well.
I'm thinking of buying one. How long have you had it, and is it still running good?
Still running good.
Looking for the Racka in Bangor Maine. Walked into 2 different TS stores and no Rackas and they couldn’t find any in their system to order it. Looked at me like I was crazy. 😊 Any suggestions?
They are an in-store only item but expanding into different stores. I'll fwd to TSC and see if they can get one there.
Much appreciated!! We bought one in Virginia and love it and now need one for our home in Maine. I am disabled and it helps me to get where I want to go.
I’m from Dover foxcroft having the same problem 😂😂
Nice! Shoot I bought won for my wife because of your first video!
That’s awesome! Does she like it?!? Appreciate you watching brother!
@@JoeTheFarmer yes sir! And the only place I could find it in action was your video. I went about a week ago and they got a few now out front at tractor supply. But you put it to the test and I was sold on it. Thank you
@TrojanMr31 appreciate you watching brother. 👊🏼
When something goes wrong, where do you get it fixed or order parts?
It’s a Tao cart so parts will be anywhere. Interchangeable with multiple brands
We bought today. There’s no rear view mirror or golf hangers. I’m wondering if they forgot to give us the accessories?
They prob did. I would ask for them; will help with resale.
Mine didn't come with either of those either and I'm in ohio
Parts would be my concern but it's 2k less than a stripped standard cart today... not bad
It's a Tao cart; same as Coleman. Will be plenty of parts availability.
It’s 6 months after your 4 month review. Still good?
Still good! Solid machine. Fyi, there is a new one coming out soon. 😜
@JoeTheFarmer when is the new one coming out? Thinking about buying one and wondering if we should wait.
I'd suggest turning the bolt on the gun rack..... 4 stabs per rear seat passengers would be gone!
10-4
Where can I buy this product, Tractor Supply knows nothing about it, and RACKA does not have contact information on their website.
You need to speak to the store manager and request it. They will be rolling out in more stores soon.
Yes, strangest thing I’ve seen, no contact info and no where to buy info. Tractor Supply does not list it as available either.
@MisterBech its almost like its an in store only item.
After checking out many different carts, your video has me interested in possibly purchasing a Racka. Problem is, Tractor Supply customer service tells me they sell no such product. Plus, the Racka website has very limited information. Maybe someday I will get a return call from Racka customer service when they are interested in selling their products!
The manager can get one to their store. Sorry you have had a bad experience. What store is your local store?
@@JoeTheFarmer Thanks for your quick reply. Tractor Supply store #629 in Hagerstown, Maryland. I can definitely make a call to the manager at that location and see what happens. With luck it will be Happy Birthday to me next week!
Hi Wendy, a request was put in today to move a few carts to the Hagerstown store. May make it by your birthday. Thanks for reaching out! Appreciate you watching!
Just saw three of them at a store in Kinston, NC today. $7999.00
where is your charging port on mines it’s on the driver side?
Mine is the first gen. Your's is likely on the side.
I've called several Tractor Supply Co locations (in two states) and they don't have a clue what this is. Is there a secret method to find one?
What store is local to you? I can ask them to send one to your store for you
You could fit a retractable Bimini top from a boat so you essentially turn it into a convertible
That would be very cool. And more quiet!
We use ours for hunting. Does anyone know how to disable the annoying back up beeping?
Above the rear drivers side wheel well. There’s a quick connect that just needs to be separated.
I just got it three weeks ago
Congratulations!
Looks like Coleman carries the same cart marketed as the Coleman Powersports Electric Golf Cart with Rear View Camera, Silver - DR48V7S
Looks like Rural King carries it for $7,499.
Yep; same cart. Different body and features. Its a race to the bottom for golf cart prices. Crazy how cheap they are getting. Massimo has a nice one for $6,999.
I went down to our local tractor supply yesterday with hopes of buying one of these on sale now for $7500 but I didn’t bring one home because I noticed the foot pedal position was a little cramped when compared to my club car president I just sold and the other brands they have at tractor supply.
I bought a Madjak golf cart for $7500 new and it’s a lot better quality than this one . You just have to watch for deals when new model years come out . Also could have got a Navitas golf cart for $7000 , but I would have had to drive to South Carolina to pick it up .
Sounds like you got a great deal! Congrats man. And appreciate you watching.
JUST BOUGHT ONE AND TOP SPEED IS 20MPH. WHY CANT I GET 25??
Not sure. Charge it all the way and be sure seatbelts are fastened
I hopw you can find someone to service it. lol
Just a Tao golf cart. Not hard to find someone that services them. They make tons of them
Tractor Supply doesn't sell them, so who does?
Hey Rick, its sold at select tractor supply stores. You can ask your local manager to order one if not in store
A lot less weight with lithium. Surprised, you don't need that with what you do. Mine, $7,500. Tear yours up on hills. With lithium. And will do 45mph with a slight mod. Yeah, mine rated 25mph too. While there are newer technologies that can reduce the frequency of water additions, most traditional lead-acid batteries require water to beHowever, the frequency of water additions can vary depending on:
Battery type: Sealed batteries, like AGM or gel batteries, require less frequent watering as they have a different construction that helps retain electrolyte.

Environmental factors: Temperature and humidity can affect water evaporation.
It's important to consult your battery's manual for specific watering instructions and to check the electrolyte levels regularly to ensure optimal performance. topped off to maintain proper electrolyte levels. 1 This is because during charging, water is converted into hydrogen and oxygen gases, which can cause the electrolyte level to decrease over time.
They have a new one coming out soon that is Lithium. Will surely be faster.
When asked why any "golf cart" would need turn signals, break lights, seatbelts, brake lights and headlights......they claim these accessories as being an "added courtesy".
