I don’t know if these PPVs are considered to be classics, but for me, mania 25 and the 2020 rumble will forever hold a place in my heart. I was in attendance for both PPVs (was gonna be 12 when I attended mania 25 and was 23 when I attended the rumble), and just knowing where I was on both nights is still pretty amazing. Undertaker vs HBK 1 alone is still one of my all time favorite matches, and witnessing Edge return after 9 years in the stands has literally become a highlight of my life. All I can say is wrestling can give you moments you’ll remember for the good and the bad, and that’s part of what wrestling’s all about
Wrestlemania 33 was the first and only PPV I’ve attended. I was 14 years old. When I heard Wrestlemania was gonna be in my hometown, I immediately decided to save up my 10 bucks a week from cleaning the kitchen to make sure I went to this show and I just HAD to. I still got my Dean Ambrose sign in my room somewhere.
WrestleMania 32 and 33 would always have a special pace in my heart. I used to watch wrestling week in and out back then so, probably why. WrestleMania 32 was my first WrestleMania and it felt grand and the theme song was so so good along with the presentation in the at&t stadium.
I remember watching this live, as soon as new day came out stating there was another tag team everyone in the room was gonna leave thinking it was gonna be something random, but when we heard that first beat everyone was STARING at the tv screen and was literally glued. Great times
I have this same relationship of loving an average WWE ppv with SummerSlam 2015. A lot of the undercard of that show was rough but the heavy hitters delivered. And it takes me back to a time where I was in high school and I didn’t care about a damn thing. It was the first show I had ever watched at my best friend’s place and we’ll always bond over that show. I’m actually flying across the country today as I type this to go see him and my extended family, I’m grateful to be able to do these things and be bonded with him through an average wrestling pay per view.
wrestlemania 33 is so nostalgic for me, i was 14 when it happened and i didnt get to see it live, but when i heard the next day that the hardys returned from my buddy at school i literally bought the network just to see that moment 😭
This was the mania that brought me back to watching wrestling. I quit watching Wwe in 2009 when Jeff Hardy left , 8 straight years I didn’t watch or keep up with wrestling. I start seeing rumors about a possible Hardy boys return so I made a Wwe network account and not knowing any of the new wrestlers I turned this mania on and of course the Hardy’s returned , I’ll never forget the shock that went through my body when their music started playing. I have been heavily back into wrestling ever since. I went to wrestlemania 39 for the first time last year in LA, and none of that happens without this wrestlemania right here. 33 will always be special to me
I legitimately tore my underpants when the hardy boyz returned. My friends and I tried to predict the whole mania card. Even though Matt already posted that the Hardy’s are at the airport, on their way back home when mania started I still believed that they are trolling us and show up at mania. I was so convinced (maybe it was also motivated by alcohol because I already was not sober when we made our match predictions). but once the hardy boyz came out and won the whole thing, we went bananas and I was the prediction-king for that night. To me my favorite ppv and one of my favorite wrestling memories.
WM33 was the night I got back into wrestling after I dropped off in 2014. And coincidentally, I started watching the show right when the Hardy's made their entrance. So I've got a soft spot for this Mania for that fact alone.
Hardy Boyz return was so special for me. I was introduced to Jeff Hardy when I started watching TNA when I was 6 years old back in 2012 and missed out on his years in WWE. My favorite wrestling moment ever because it was so special to me
This is such a perfect explanation of 33. It’s such a bad/great show that holds a special place in my heart. The road to wrestlemania this year was absolutley insane. Best set ever too
What made wm 33 so special for me was the fact that it was my first i watched as a kid i was seven at the time and the year before i actually planned to watch wm 32 but i couldn't so in 2017 i was so excited to wm on tv and remember it like it was yesterday good times man good times
I can never ever forgot WrestleMania 33 it was the first wrestling show i watched in stadium i don't care whether it good or bad it was one of the best nights of my life
For me Wrestlemania 32 and Wrestlemania 34 were special to me, I just remember where I was on those nights, my memories are so clear it’s almost like I’m still there in that moment
WM33 also hold a special place in my heart. The Lesnar Vs Goldberg rivalry was the first feud I was actually invested in. Considering how protected Lesnar was (and that he was my fav at the time), seeing him unable to even *hit* Goldberg was enough for me to watch the promos for the fights every week. It's also the point where Lesnar began his 504 reign as Universal Champion, as as much I hate to say it was a lackluster run in comparison to Reigns', because I was biased towards Brock, I loved it.
I like how you mentioned how wrestling is an escape for some people and when you were explaining your backstory when you were 18 I felt like I could relate a lot I’m 18 right now currently work 40 hours a week in a factory and got out of a breakup a few months ago and weird enough WWE has been a good distraction from all my real life drama I feel at ease to go back and feel like a kid again. Maybe I can say the same about WrestleMania 40 when it’s all said and done
This mania will always have a special place in my heart. This was my first mania that I’ve attended and first time watching live without a YT Live Reaction or following on Twitter lol. I was with my uncle and the first thing we did was to go to the superstore they had and got the program, the souvenir cup and after convincing him, the Spinner WWE Championship (still have it and still my favorite, fight me) We got to our seats and my jaw was floored after seeing the stage live, I could have my bias with pirate ship being my favorite (because tampa lol) but that coaster stage is top tier of best WM Stages ever. I was in the stands all night, even during Pitbull lol, while my uncle couldn’t give two 💩 about what’s going on (basically just there as my ride) and getting lemonade. The moment I still remember fondly was when The Hardy Boyz came back. Naturally, I knew them from the indies and TNA when they were over there but knew they had connections to WWE and let me tell you, when their music played, The place was loud and everyone came unglued. The best part is that in front of me, their was a pair of UA-camrs that were recording their reactions and I was on there in the background with my “wrestling gear” I had on. I still find it when the WM33 OTD is posted and just say “look at my 8th grade punkass lol” The one thing I do regret, that in hindsight was all for nothing, was missing the undertaker’s farewell. I was unfortunately with the “Roman Sucks” crowd back then and when the pin count hit 3, I told my uncle to pack it up, we’re out of here. Missed the ending pyro and missed what supposed to be taker’s swan song but obviously that didn’t happened. Mania was 50/50 and was LONG but I’ll still have the memories that connect to it and that are remembered fondly. Might even put the DVD on after this but imma wait later on for that, I don’t wanna sleep at 6am lol.
This was actually the first ever WWE show I watched as a kid and it holds a special place in my heart too. I remember stuff like not knowing who the hell the Hardys were and why everyone was going crazy and I remember loving Reigns and my Dad telling me that I'm not allowed to like him and that everyone hates him
I wasn't necessarily going through anything significant in my life at that point, but I too loved this one and look back WM33 with a lot of fondness. From the AJ/Shane McMahon match, Hardys returning, Goldberg/Lesnar redemption and Taker (seemingly) retiring. Also, best set design in years. At the time, it was a special
WOO!!! So glad pavs uploading some more peak content keep it up Pav, WrestleMania 33 was a fun night I remember when me, my brothers, and parents were all sitting in the living room watching WrestleMania and kinda partying such a fun night great memories just flooding in that night
WM 33 really felt like yesterday, i remember when the Hardys came back. I could have sworn his was like more recent.. like 2021 or something but no! 2017!? And even when Goldberg came back, doesn’t feel like that happened in 2016.
Definitely one of my favorite Wrestlemania’s the stage design is one of the best in recent memory I think that’s why its so memorable not all the matches were great but I enjoyed watching it from home it was also one of the first WrestleMania’s I’ve watched so yeah that’s why it’s so special to me it’s a lot of nostalgia
Goldberg Vs Brock is the most stupid match of all time but because it was Goldberg and Brock, it wasn't stupid at all because that's just how those two are, perfect 5 star match
I was 10 when this happened and I remember crying a little in bed after seeing Undertaker ‘retire’ (I’m English so it was the day after) but man this is special for me too. I’ll never forget late 2016 until this show. The memories ☺️
Wrestlmalmania 27,28,29,30 were the best in terms of everything. Main music, cards, atmosphere, Such a great time when I was 11-14 y.o which makes me kinda tear up
i was actually blessed to be at this wrestlemania (though my seat was hella high up) and this was the best event I've ever been to. Being able to witness the hardy boys return blew my mind and i jumped so high out of my seat when their theme came on.
That was the first wrestlemania I watched so it will always have a special place in my heart and especially the Arena because the stage was an absolute 10/10
Bro I was 10 when I watched this live with my uncle sadly he's in the hospital right now but he is getting better I remember dressing up as dean ambrose my favorite match was definitely seth vs hhh this time 2016/2017 was just so special to me I got my ps4 and wwe 2k17 for 2016 Christmas aj styles showed up and had my jaw on the ground shinske nakamura debut on smackdown live was one of the best I just wish I could relive my uncle surprising me again thank you for the nostalgic trip wrestling gifs
Bruh I lowkey kind of forgot about WM 33 but I definitely remembered being hyped for The Hardy Boyz returning that night. Literally the next day in my freshman year of high school, people were hyped in the hallways and spoke about their return that morning.
Royal rumble 2023 being so hyped for bray to comeback and to see Cody win and Sami turn it was such a good night and was near when I first started watching wwe a lot
I been watching wrestling since 1998 the first 2 wrestlers I ever laid eyes on was Stone Cold going back n forth with The Undertaker... Wrestlemania 20 was my favorite Wrestlemania of all time but that changed after this night Wrestlemania 33 became my most favorite Wrestlemania of all time.. I cried tears of joy when Chris Jericho made his entrance, I cried tears of joy when the Hardy Boyz came out, I thought Triple H coming out looking extra jacked in a vest on a badass bike with his hot wife in the back was so f***ing badass. When The Undertaker was leaving his gear in the ring I started crying again. Man I felt like such a p*ssy the next day tbh lol but... IT WAS MY CHILDHOOD!
Don’t forget Ambrose vs Corbin that was on the pre show , that was probably one of the best matches of the night and nevil vs Austin Aries for the cruiser weight title was awesome
WrestleMania 33 is memorable for a lot of reasons. The best stage The best ramp The return of hardy boyz Some cool ass entrances. 🔥 And yes, the emotional end of the program with the Undertaker leaving his hat, gloves and trench coat in the middle of the ring ❤️ It's actually overhated for absolutely nothing. This WrestleMania was one of the best
The ending of mania was dumb af but I was also there in attendance live in person. Everything about it was amazing From AJ vs Shane, Seth doing the Phoenix splash led to Stephanie getting slammed through a table, The Hardy’s huge return and Brock doing a leap frog dodging Oldberg’s spear was one of the highlight’s of Wrestlemania 33.
WrestleMania 33. The event that brought me and my family back into wrestling. My cousin was very curious to try this event as she thought of WWE one time, and decided to get this event for her free trial and invited me, my brother, and cousins, and my god, this event was so much fun. The moment that got all of us acting like kids again was definitely the Hardy Boyz’ return. We popped so hard and that’s when we knew, it was time to be wrestling fans again. Oh man, despite the bad moments with this show, it was still fun, and it was able to bring us back to wrestling when we gave up years ago. Truly a special show.👍😁
This wrestlemania means a lot to me cuz it was the first wrestlemania I ever went to and it was amazing the Hardy's coming back was so awesome to see in person
I live in the uk right and mania starts at midnight for us and funnily enough it’s probably my favourite mania post 30. I remember the hardy boys return like it was yesterday, we had ordered pizza when the music hit the pizza came and my cousin went sprinting up the road to pay the pizza guy before the match started. That is my of my favourite moments in my life
33 was my girlfriends first wrestlemania with me. She had just started back watching from when she was younger & she loved Cena. She pooped so hard for the proposal & when the hardy boy’s returned the pop was crazyyyyy
I had just gone through my first major break up in March of 2017 and I was in the darkest space I’ve been in (Up until that point). I even went 3 weeks without listening to any sort of Music (Im an artist, so thats very unusual). April of 2017, My homie showed me two things, XXXTentacion for the first time and Wrestlemania 33. This Mania got me through a tough ass time.

For being 8 or 9 years older then you Pav I can really relate to how you view wrestling in some weird way.
Underrated show. The Hardy's return is still one of my favourite ever.

Wrestlemania 33 was my first Wrestlemania ever 😭 Man how times have changed 😭😭❤️
Great times
4:28 why is he singing KSI thick of it????
Bro knew...
Same thing I thought 🙏😭
I have this same relationship of loving an average WWE ppv with SummerSlam 2015.
A lot of the undercard of that show was rough but the heavy hitters delivered. And it takes me back to a time where I was in high school and I didn’t care about a damn thing. It was the first show I had ever watched at my best friend’s place and we’ll always bond over that show.
I’m actually flying across the country today as I type this to go see him and my extended family, I’m grateful to be able to do these things and be bonded with him through an average wrestling pay per view.
I attended WM 33 when I was 8 and i was so happy seeing Goldberg live
wrestlemania 33 is so nostalgic for me, i was 14 when it happened and i didnt get to see it live, but when i heard the next day that the hardys returned from my buddy at school i literally bought the network just to see that moment 😭
The goat dumpy is a wrestling fan? Crazy
33 will always be special to me
I love these nostalgic classic videos by you! There the best!
What makes WM 33 even more memorable was when Pitbull actually performing Greenlight like it’s the Super Bowl Halftime show😅😌
I legitimately tore my underpants when the hardy boyz returned. To me my favorite ppv and one of my favorite wrestling memories.
by 2017 i had stopped watching wwe but i do remember hearing about the hardys return they were the reason i got into wrestling in the first place
WM33 will also be special for me. I got my boy into wrestling and we marked tf out that year! Hardy Boyz return was great, it'll always be special.
I loved the stage. The ring on top of the ring. 😂
My favorite wrestling moment ever because it was so special to me
Nothing better then waking up and watching wrestling gifs , the goat
This is such a perfect explanation of 33. It’s such a bad/great show that holds a special place in my heart. The road to wrestlemania this year was absolutley insane. Best set ever too
What made wm 33 so special for me was the fact that it was my first i watched as a kid i was seven at the time and the year before i actually planned to watch wm 32 but i couldn't so in 2017 i was so excited to wm on tv and remember it like it was yesterday good times man good times
yeah i completely agree with you man... Looking back at it.. Mania 33 just seems so damn perfect.. Good times good times..
Wrestlemania 33 felt like the end of an era in a way for me, every Wrestlemania after just felt different
WrestleMania 33 was the first WrestleMania I watched and the second time I ever watched wrestling lol but it really got me hooked on wwe
Maybe I can say the same about WrestleMania 40 when it’s all said and done
keep these wretlemania vids going love them
Was at this mania live, one of the greatest nights man so much fun
This mania will always have a special place in my heart.
This was my first mania that I’ve attended and first time watching live without a YT Live Reaction or following on Twitter lol. I was with my uncle and the first thing we did was to go to the superstore they had and got the program, the souvenir cup and after convincing him, the Spinner WWE Championship (still have it and still my favorite, fight me)
We got to our seats and my jaw was floored after seeing the stage live, I could have my bias with pirate ship being my favorite (because tampa lol) but that coaster stage is top tier of best WM Stages ever.
I still find it when the WM33 OTD is posted and just say “look at my 8th grade punkass lol”
The one thing I do regret, that in hindsight was all for nothing, was missing the undertaker’s farewell.
This was the best WM stage design hands down 🙌🏾
I remember early 2017 as the era when smackdown got good. Late 2016-early 2017 was when I was a 20 year old college kid watching SD.
At the time, it was a special
wrestlemania 33 defines feel good entertainment
WOO!!! So glad pavs uploading some more peak content keep it up Pav, WrestleMania 33 was a fun night I remember when me, my brothers, and parents were all sitting in the living room watching WrestleMania and kinda partying such a fun night great memories just flooding in that night
I loved this Wrestlemania. Great grudge matches and a really solid Goldberg match for once.
The Legend Makes Another Masterpiece 🔥🔥
WM 33 really felt like yesterday, i remember when the Hardys came back. I could have sworn his was like more recent.. like 2021 or something but no! 2017!? And even when Goldberg came back, doesn’t feel like that happened in 2016.
Definitely one of my favorite Wrestlemania’s the stage design is one of the best in recent memory I think that’s why its so memorable not all the matches were great but I enjoyed watching it from home it was also one of the first WrestleMania’s I’ve watched so yeah that’s why it’s so special to me it’s a lot of nostalgia
I remember the Raw after WrestleMania 33 when the crowd went off on Roman Reigns.
Thank you for this. It Is always good to have a decent video while on the crapper
Wrestlmalmania 27,28,29,30 were the best in terms of everything. Main music, cards, atmosphere, Such a great time when I was 11-14 y.o which makes me kinda tear up
Neville vs Austin Aries is personally my favorite match on the show because Neville was my favorite wrestler at the time.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5
Even though 2017 wasn’t the greatest year… I miss it so much
WrestleMania 9 just hit different when I was 6-9. I wasn't even alive but I still loved the era and still do.
I was 9 when this Wrestlemania and oh boy I still have so much great memories of this Mania, it wasn't great but very fun.
i was actually blessed to be at this wrestlemania (though my seat was hella high up) and this was the best event I've ever been to. Being able to witness the hardy boys return blew my mind and i jumped so high out of my seat when their theme came on.
Lesnar VS Goldberg Was A Banger🔥🔥🔥🔥
That was the first wrestlemania I watched so it will always have a special place in my heart and especially the Arena because the stage was an absolute 10/10
WrestleMania 33 design is hands down the best one out of all WrestleMania's.
Just like 2017-18 era which everyone hates but for me it was FREAKIN' AMAZINGGGG 🥺
Can't imagine that it was a time when AJ STYLES' hairs carried more charisma than Roman 😂😂😂
This was the first wrestlemania I got to watch live on TV after not watching wrestling for almost 3 years
Bro I was 10 when I watched this live with my uncle sadly he's in the hospital right now but he is getting better I remember dressing up as dean ambrose my favorite match was definitely seth vs hhh this time 2016/2017 was just so special to me I got my ps4 and wwe 2k17 for 2016 Christmas aj styles showed up and had my jaw on the ground shinske nakamura debut on smackdown live was one of the best I just wish I could relive my uncle surprising me again thank you for the nostalgic trip wrestling gifs
Did he get a better mic ? His voice sounds much more powerful. But I also luv wrestlemania 33 alot of it is the set that made it special too
Taker losing was the worst thing to happen that night.. how tf are you gonna say goated?!
Because the Hardys came back
Bruh I lowkey kind of forgot about WM 33 but I definitely remembered being hyped for The Hardy Boyz returning that night. Literally the next day in my freshman year of high school, people were hyped in the hallways and spoke about their return that morning.
This ending left more than one of us in tears.
Wrestlemania 33 was my first Wrestlemania, so it’ll always have a special place in my heart.
Royal rumble 2023 being so hyped for bray to comeback and to see Cody win and Sami turn it was such a good night and was near when I first started watching wwe a lot
I will never forget my reaction when Hardy Boyz returned. It was mind-blowing. I litteraly yelled at my screen the whole match
Finally my favorite wrestlemania gets some love
Don’t forget Ambrose vs Corbin that was on the pre show , that was probably one of the best matches of the night and nevil vs Austin Aries for the cruiser weight title was awesome
I need another storytime with pav in my life, your stories sir are hilarious
WrestleMania 33 is memorable for a lot of reasons.
The best stage
The best ramp
The return of hardy boyz
Some cool ass entrances. 🔥
And yes, the emotional end of the program with the Undertaker leaving his hat, gloves and trench coat in the middle of the ring ❤️
It's actually overhated for absolutely nothing.
I was there live. The Hardy’s coming back will be a moment I NEVER forget.
Glad I’m not the only one who is nostalgic about this Wrestlemania
