Love our Multimac Superclub. Originally purchased for our Superb estate (and fortunate enough to hear most of these stories from the horse's mouth while Kevin fitted the seat for us!), and now in our Tesla Model Y. Multimac is a great British success story, backed by a great team of people!
It’s so special having a company like this who you can call and get instant real customer service from people who love what they do. It’s a beautiful thing that’s lost in the modern way of big business…
This story is an absolute triumph!! Love listening to this! Had a smile all the way through! We have friends who recently bought a B Class just so they could fit twin babies and their toddler into a single vehicle, but it also means no boot space. I’ve shared the video and hopefully they will consider something like this!
Great story. Always been interested in one of these after reading about it in EVO magazine. Just need to have another couple of children to justify it 😆
I have the 1260 model in my Peugeot 308, 2008 plate. It changed my whole life of driving because I didn't want a 7 seater car as I'd just received my Peugeot 308 off my Mom & her partner & couldn't bring myself to trade/sell it to fund a 7 seater car. I saw Multimac online & omg! I had to have one, nearly £1,900 later (1260 model & Minimac) I was able to fit all 4 of my children in my car. I had some issues with my Minimac as I was the first person to become the owner of the newer style Minimac so having had it delivered straight off the production line it arrived at my home the following day & I ran out to fit it to my Multimac, unfortunately I couldn't get it to fit so I rang Multimac & spoke to Minty & she realised that the locking mechanism wasn't right on the Minimac, so she sent her Dad Kevin to my home & he personally sorted it all out, he brought a replacement Minimac & it fitted perfectly, they had realised at Multimac HQ that the locking mechanism was slightly out so they soon had all the new Minimacs redone so no one else had issues. I was happy to be the Guinea pig for the new Minimac & happy to say it lasted my youngest till she was 2.5 years old! She's 3 in June & sits happily in between her 2 brothers loving the attention. I recommend Multimac to everyone who has 2 or more children & love my children being safe in their Multimac. So I want to say another big thank you to Kevin & his team for bringing the Multimac to life & saving me from buying a bigger car.
Lovely comment thanks for sharing! That’s what I love about this company, they are truly passionate about what they do, how customer service should be 😊
Getting to sit down and hear the full story from the man himself was wonderful. I can’t stress enough how much of a game changer the multimac is for parents with 3 or more children 👏 without it we’d be stuck with MPVs and limited 7 seat SUV options. I do have a number of other key Dadcars legends I’d love to sit down and hear their story 😊
@@dadcars I've worked in product assurance, approving designs against maritime rules, so this was the perfect crossover of dad stuff, car stuff, and nerdy testing requirements.
This man’s perseverance needs to tackle the next in line market in the States. Big families abound. Saving up a few more years getting more miles out of an existing vehicle will pay for the multimac and some I imagine.
One concern a friend mentioned to me about multimac is that they don’t really have a solution for a rear facing seat once the child outgrows the infant seat.
@@dadcarsUntil at least 4 years is the safest and recommended option as this is when their spine has completed ossification. It's 5x safer in the event of a crash as when forward facing the harness pins their chest and shoulders back so just their heavy head goes flying forwards, puts immense strain on the head, neck and spine.
Good job in sticking with your principles in regards to the demands of the morning industry!

Very entertaining guy
I really enjoyed talking with Kevin off camera as well, lovely man 😊

What age do you keep yours in rear facing until?
