    My dad past away 2 years ago and he carved for 23 years before he passed and that is how I got my name. "Carver" I want to start carving in memory of him but I don't remember how he did so ur videos help spark that memory and I hope one day I can bring back the chipper dan style.

Also a slower tortorial would be great but i might be able to play slow speed and follow that way would be honered to make one for my dad before he passes it would make him proud seeing as he was a farm boy most of his life and he wishes i learned some skills he has. Great job! Good step by step instructions! I have been using a chainsaw since I was 13 but I have just started carving - doing tiki heads. After a few more tikis, two pelicans are my next project plans. I don’t know if I will attempt a bear, but they seem to be super popular in chainsaw art! You can see my beginner’s work on my Constance Bay Palms channel.

    • @EricCaronChainsaw
      @EricCaronChainsaw  6 років тому +2

      Sharp chain with low rakers, round edge chain would be a good start and if she's kicking you might be using the wrong part of the tip!!!
      And cedar is a very soft wood compared to hickory
