Interesting seeing you do this. I had the space/money for one extra bike (I use a CB125F daily, it's just so practical). I was putting in bids and offers on both mid size adventure bikes and these screaming 90's small displacement fireblades. Since I like doing long journeys and also ripping high revs through country lanes. In the end, as fate would have it, I ended up with one of these. A 1990 CBR400RR-L NC29. I'm playing around with the idea of taking it around Scotland, or even across the European continent. Seeing you give this a go is encouraging! I'm going to enjoy this series.
Love ur videos and the reckless attention to the bikes....shame tho that ur not coming over east to do a proper lap of Oz....one question though re your gear..what brand of jacket/flannel do u wear as have seen u wear the same brand on different adventures..cheers

I am unsure why anyone would want to ride 1000 miles in a day. Maybe on a Goldwing where you can hydrate and eat while riding. Still I think the risks outweigh the reward.

It's more of a challenge rather than anything else.
