I so enjoyed seeing you do your tags last year but it was such a treat to see them all again in the stunning keepsake journal you created for them all, Chrissie. TFS your beautiful art. Hugs C xx
It certainly was, Chrissie. BUT I think our new Journal of Stitchery project is going to be even better. I had such a wonderful time doing the first page and am now eagerly looking forward to the next. Have a fabulous day. Hugs C xx
Just displayed as the only way they should..."IN A BOOK!" And the colors of them grouped on their pages look so harmonious! Very nice keepsake for you!! Awesome work!
What a great idea to combine all the tags into a journal like that. It looks really great! A real treasure! I only did the first tag (all white) ... even if I wanted to follow the challenge, that was just too much for me to follow the speed ... one day! ;)
This is stunning Christie. It’s amazing how each page of 4 seem to go together. An absolutely beautiful way to showcase the tags. What a great up cycle of your Mom’s tablecloth. I’ve loved watching the progress throughout the year.
Hello Patti, Yes, that was so good how the old tablecloth just happened to work out the perfect size for the book to arrange 4 tags on each page. Made it so easy. Tfw x
Hi Chrissie, you have a beautiful collection of tags and I have enjoyed seeing your fabulous creations each week. It has been an awesome challenge and we have all learnt so much and our creativity has grown. Thank you for sharing your wonderful book of tags. Sandra xx
Oh great minds and all that Chrissie ;) hehe I just love your book especially the size of it. Wonderful work as always and well done on completing the Challenge xxx - Jeanette
Thank you Jeanette..It sure was a lovely challenge . So happy too have completed it as I didn't know a year ago what would happen and if I would or not . 52 tags and a finished book later...so happy to have seen it through.
Beautiful book. Lovely presentation for your 52 tags. It was such a fun challenge and I enjoyed every week. I loved seeing all the tags from around the world. I plan to show my book of 52 tags on my UA-cam channel before the end of the year. I up-cycled playing cards to make my tags. Tfs your beautiful book Chrissie. ♥️🇨🇦
I’m sooooo excited I found you thanks to another crafter that mentioned your name. I can’t quit watching your videos about fabric journals and snippet rolls. I can’t wait to get into my craft room today and try some!!! Thank you so much for your beautiful inspiration! ❤️
Chrissie, I do not have the words to tell you how this project has given me such joy. I would check all the time over the past year for your tag updates. I am having a ly in day. I am living in a winter wonderland. (A foot of snow ) with more on the way. I am going to binge watch all your tag videos today🥰 I think maybe you could make a digi kit of each tag? Maybe 2022 a tag of the month...just 12 for the year? I think each one of the tags cold stand alone as a journal cover🥰 Thank you Thank you Thank You. Laura
Aww, thanks so much Laura. A foot of snow sounds lovely...Maybe not so much for you though?? That is an idea although I don't think I would know how to do that. Happy New Year my friend :)
@@chrissiecrosser Happy New Year😀 The first storm snow melted..2nd storm is melting ..another storm is on the way Lol. It is hard to make a snowman. I do not understand digi's either...but I know how to buy them.😀 I think it is like if you have a cross stich doily and make a copy on a copy machine. Then if you made a copy of your tag and could print on canvas...What do I know...lol...I do wish there was a way just to have photo copies. They are just so wonderful😍 Laura
Thank you for taking the time to look Cindy and I will be doing the stitching project that the Roxy Creations girls are hosting this coming year. Looking forward to that.
I enjoyed seeing how you displayed your tags. I have been wondering how I wanted to display my tags and after seeing yours I am thinking I'll try something similar. My tags are more mixed media so the stitching won't be as perfect as yours but it will be a nice keepsake.
Wow wow wow. Your tags and book are amazing. Love the way you have recorded your thoughts on each tag and the Velcro idea is genius. Love from England xx❤️❤️
It was wonderful, I'm impressed with the ability you can make books like that, I think it's very difficult. your idea was perfect, maybe one day we'll do something similar👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻♥️

I love your book and all those pretty tags. I watched Anne each week do her video. Do you have a video on how you made your book? It’s beautiful. Great job on your tags.
Thank you Pam. No, I haven't got a video on how I made the book but it was really a fairly simple construction. I used some iron on batting between the two layers of fabric I used for the pages and sewed around the edges of each page, then I laid them on top of each other and sewed three rows of stitching down the centre to create a kind of a spine..I managed to get all those layers of fabric through my machine amazingly and that is pretty much it.
Chrissie, you never cease to amaze and inspire me! These are such a beautiful testament to your skill as an artist, as well as the lovely person you are. And the velcro idea? Perfect! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful art. Your calm, soothing voice and your beautiful stitching bring such a sense of peace to me! Thank you and may God bless. Jan
Really really lovely. Embroidery seems to be my passion at the moment as I can watch the tv at the same time - well sort of! I’ve been glueing mine into an altered book but this is a much better idea.Thank you x

I don’t have that kind of paper and never found some but if there is a name, maybe that would help me to find some to buy? Do you know by any chance? Thanks a lot 🌸🌷🌺
Hello, the paper is a gift from a friend who lives in the US. On the cover it just says it is 'Via Air Mail' and it is made in Japan. I think it may be onion paper maybe but not certain. It is very lightweight and thin and is in a pad
The book is made out of an old tablecloth which I tore up to make the pages and I sandwiched a light batting between the page for a bit of stability and then stitched around the pages, laid them on top of each other like a book and sewed on my sewing machine up the centre to make a spine.
Good afternoon, I hope you can answer me… I have a lot of difficulty making fabric books, because I live in a country where we don't have this habit… but I love what you do there…. I've already ruined a lot of fabric trying to make the pages doesn't work. please if you can answer me I have some questions: 1- are the pages cut with different measures? because of the volume of the Tags? 2- you sew them on the spine right? 3- could you give me the steps on how to do it? 4- Do you put some kind of blanket between the pages to make it soft? Or is it just the fabric of the page itself?I loved the idea of organizing the Tags. I'm sorry for not speaking your language, if it got confused I also apologize I'm in the translator. anyway. Thank you very much.😘
