I've never heard of Flowmonster before, but after this video i think im going to give them a try on my cammed 5.3 with long tubes and an x pipe. I like how deep the tone is without being raspy. Good video!
Great info! I like the true dual sound, but it might get a little loud on longer drives for sure! How do you like the Truck Norris? I have an LQ4 i'm about to drop in a 66 c10 with a LS6 intake & 706 heads, 4l60 w/ 3200 stall. I'd like to hear the chop, but it seems kinda mild sounding. What do you think? Thanks a million! God Bless!
It is defiantly mild, you will need a somewhat open exhaust to get a good chop out of it. the cam make great power but for a lighter 2wd truck with a looser converter like you will be running I would go with something a little more aggressive. Maybe the summit stage 3 truck cam or even the summit 8707. What rear gear are you gonna be running?
Don't cheap out on your 4L60 make sure you build it up from head too toe and make sure you leave torque management on, you can grenade a 4L60 right quick with a 6L if it's not built for it and especially since your running a big stall get the biggest transmission cooler you can get it your trans will thank you
@@arbot1 it should last you a long time if you watch your temperatures, way too many people abuse 4L60's, overheat them and wonder why they have a couple of extra neutral gears
They all sound pretty good ! Kinda surprised the single 3 inch sounded as good as it did. Still could hear the cam lope pretty good being a single exhaust. I am not a big fan of x pipe as they don’t from what I have read and seen don’t really add any hp . Saw a comparison on exhaust years ago. Was surprised to see that. If they don’t add power I don’t buy it lol. I liked the true dual exhaust on yours the best without the X pipe. I run trues duals on mine with factory exhaust manifolds. Going through Flowmasters . Bought the truck that way. I know they are restrictive but they do sound good.
Yep I agree, next time I got it back down I’ll probably be removing the x pipe. If the dang abs module wasn’t in the way I would just run the side pipes permanently!

Thanks for your time and effort. The last setup was the exact sound I’m looking for.
Glad it was helpful!

Yep, they are very durable and although there knockoffs I feel the quality is just as good as the much more expressive dynomax or magnaflow.
Thanks
That last set up was bad ass
Thanks it sounds really aggressive in person
I like the last exhaust.... Have a similar truck I'm going with it.
It sounds great, only issue I have is it’s ear rattling when towing lol. Might run some cutouts and a big muffler behind it.
Just came across some of your vids. Subbed! Keep it up
Thanks man, got a few things to come when I get time

@@chrishansen7004 thanks, had the 60e "built" to handle it supposedly. Appeciate the info!

Thanks for responding! I have a Tru-Trac with 4.11's & 29" tire. Love your Bird!!!! My brother had one back in the day! Awesome channel!

@@SteveHicks-d4c Thanks, it has the "truck norris" cam in it
Great video. I like the first one best
Thanks, I like it alot like that, which is why it took me a year to fix it lol
Great video
Thanks!
What you do about 02 sensors and can tell power difference between
its tuned, no power difference
Weld velocities?
Ultra predator
They look just like the welds though, got them off marketplace for $100 lol
@@JohnnyAnderson1 still looks good though if you’re in the weld groups there are plenty of wheels if you are willing to fork up an arm and a leg lol
@@AgE4M These will work fine lol, welds are SUPER nice though.
@@JohnnyAnderson1 you’re telling me I got 3 sets lol but if you are every single wanting a set any of the weld pages on Facebook are stacked with sets
