Tia calling the time when she created a human a "break".... Classic. Also, the story about skipping with an actual rope when you were a kid is so telling of your beast -mode mentality as an adult. More convos with the Champ 🏆 please!!! Love this!!❤

Well… you can slow it down and, if you were not at quite 100% earlier, you might improve. But, in the end, age wins. Speaking as a 70 year old who rock climbs, does Hyrox and Deka Fit.

@@TIO540S1 yes , but I bet you there are people your age that don't think they can do what you do because they let their age dictate their capabilities ie " I'm too old to rock climb ,do hydrox etc." ...I love hearing about people like you that do all those activities at your age, it is rare and inspirational! Too many people look at aging so negatively and they think about all things they can't do! Aging is a blessing and privilege.

@@mirianinoa1964 There’s no doubt that I’m blessed. No rheumatoid arthritis, no significant traumatic damage over my seven decades, no cancer, kidney disease, heart disease, dementia. I’m also blessed enough to be on a financially sound basis so that I can afford regular checkups, healthy food, supplements, etc. I do work very hard at fitness but I have been blessed and fortunate. For these things, I’m extremely grateful. I hope to continue to challenge myself physically, continue to learn, continue to have new new adventures, and find ways to give back. I consciously act as if I’ll do so forever, and I NEVER EVER say “I’m too old for that.” I wish that everyone could be as fortunate as I have been and am. But the time will come…

I wonder what Tia will do when she retires. There is nothing she cannot do. Her mindset is so strong.

The camera on Tia for not making it to the next round in the single unders bothered me … it was on her for minutes. The camera person was definitely trying to catch a reaction it was unnecessary.

Tia handled it like the pro that she is. I love/ed it that she didn't give them any of the "female" reactions that they expected/wanted😂

Tia "every year I say I'm retiring and the next year I show back up". Your competitors "please stop showing back up. We want at least a shot at the podium" 🤣

You’ve just gotta focus more and more on recovery as you age, and also as you say, prepping too, more of that. You’ve got to be on it more as you age. Take it from a 53 year old athlete. Your pregnancy will have depleted your body so it will be more about nutrition for you right now to get your recovery game back

  • @CoudenML

Age is a number. Just like you said Don't think about it. If you wake up every morning and say oh my god I'm 50, you'll feel fifty in a short time. I'm 53 years old best shape of my life. I love beating the 35 year old's in our Crossfit workouts. And I hardly lose. Because I have that hate to lose attitude. If you have that, you can do anything.

Not sure how my office feels watching any videos on C.F. after the tragic drowning that just acurred! The way it was handled was absolutely a failure-- but the old mighty dollar won out again

Dear Tia, it's time to say goodbye to Crossfit games. Crossfit is not only for you, it's for all of us. Follow the example of the giants Fraser and Froning. Have a great day.
