really wish they had those 6 extra studs of real estate in the back used. I'm going to try and order some extra pieces to extend the building to the edge of the baseplate if I can! Hopefully someone will post a video online how they did it as well! Great review!!!
Its not meant to be a Hot Dog but the Top Curved Piece of a Shogun/Samurai Helm from Ancient Futile Japan. Also the black skeleton references the skeletal shaped body lockdown restraints that doctor strange throws on Kaecileus in the first Doctor Strange movie! The Grey Helmet you have never seen before...is because that is a LEGO Viking Helmet! They are rarely seen by most folks because again, Vikings are rare indeed among LEGO sets as I believe in the 90's they had a short run of like 3-4 smaller sets, and then thats been all they had until the newer Thor stuff and the Brand New Creator 3-in-1 Viking set that come with the Midgard Serpent! I will indeed be buying this set, not once, not twice, but THRICE times! to build a truly worthy, truly Minifig scale, and CORRECT and Functional Sanctum Santorum! Then when I have the extra window pieces, maybe I will build the London and China Sanctums, IDK, who knows!? I will indeed be completeing that left side and widening and lengthening the whole building as well! Also, the Roof will have the proper dip in the center, and there WILL BE STAIRS LEADING TO MY 3rd FLOOR! LOL
Firestar toys has some great prints to make a better Wanda. There’s a skirt piece, printed arms and a different head print! I think there’s a custom darkhold as well
I love Firestar Toys. Great website, wish they did more arm printing for Star Wars characters like for example Darth Vader arm printing for each movies he appears in.
To upgrade zombie strange may I suggest the printed arms from either the CMF zombie business man or the monster hunters zombie driver, I think they would work for him
Finally I cant wait to see u upgrade the figures especially the stranges and mordo also I’m sad they didn’t do Spider-Man’s arms like they did for the previous mcu suits because the red was printed so good but in the video it looks like how the arms were for the 2020-2021 spiderman
Some Personal Comments/Opinions: - I think the Infinity War Strange hairpiece would look better on the Sinister Strange than what they gave him on this set. - I might mix and match my Infinity War Wong once I get this set, cos I personally think the torso on this one (esp. with the details they chose to include) is slightly better than the Bricktober one. Might also try the NWH Wong legs on this one too. - Hopefully they're hinting to future minifigs/upgrades with the Ancient One, Kaecilius, and Captain America stickers. - Definitely gonna try making use of the pieces from the Infinity War Sanctum to expand the back area once I get this set.
I’m super excited to see where the marvel modular line goes in the future!!! I’ll 100% be connecting this to my daily bugle! Now do decide what to do with my strange figure on the DB….:
I believe the black skeleton on the third floor is meant to be the full body trap that Strange uses on Kaecilius. Also, I don’t mean to correct everything being said, but my brain just can’t stand it when you call the fire extinguisher a “fire hydrant”😂I only point it out because you said it in a previous video too, and I thought it was a one time thing, but no, here we are again😂
I honestly love the minifigures in this set and I love the building techniques used in this set and I love the minifigures everything in this set is awesome and cool
28:00 The "Lapm" is a display stand for Dr. Stranges Cloak (Its shown in the Instructions) and the Black sceleton is the Metal Cage in wich Strange captures Garcilious in the first Movie
Nice review! I just wanted to clarify/elaborate on a few of the Easter eggs. The Darcy's dog walk ad might be a nod to a deleted scene from the first Thor film in which Darcy rescues a dog. The sticker with the boots depicts the Vaulting Boots of Valtorr, which Mordo wore in the first Doctor Strange film. The "Jack Kirby inspired art piece" depicts the Dark Dimension. The desert panel is a reference to the time Doctor Strange had one of Kaecilius' Zealots fall into a portal/gateway and transported there (hence the footprints in the sand). The black skeleton torso is most likely meant to be the Crimson Bands of Cyttorak which Strange used to restrain Kaecilius (again, from the first Doctor Strange film).
I would’ve used the 2018 doctor strange hair for sinister strange as his hair was really messy in the movie and was never neatly combed back like the Lego one, but the rest of the mini figure is alright, also zombie strange’s weird moustache is just too weird
I do plan on buying this set. I collect Lego Marvel and DC sets almost exclusively but unfortunately Lego has pretty much given up on DC it seems which is just plain sad because I can think of so many sets and minifigs I would love to own!!! I have just recently started collecting the Mega Construx MOTU line and I have to say I'm really impressed with their set designs. Mega Construx has a Castle Grayskull set out that I bought and they have Snake Mountain up for pre order right now which I also purchased. One thing Lego could learn from Mega Construx is that MC doesn't use stickers, they print everything so it doesn't wear down or fall off over time. I still love Lego the most I just wish they would start pumping out more DC sets to compliment all the Marvel sets!!!
Thanks for pointing out the many Easter eggs for this awesome LEGO set. You are quite knowledgeable with regards to the Marvel universe. Enjoyed your review of the Sanctum Sanctorum. If you ask me, this set was a victim of shrinkflation. I loathe those many stickers...
Karl mordo is a good edition to add to your costum Illuminati 👍😉 also I’m definitely buying this set because I have something fun planned for myself for this set because there are so much Easter eggs and references to other marvel movies and I love the time stone reference in this set
24:10 the potion is actually the sand that mordo put in the tea in doctor strange 2 it’s also the same sand that made the magic stoping handcuffs that Christine made
I’m definitely going to try to get this and I actually think the new iron man helmet works well for the nanotech suit because it is smoother like in the movie and less bulky or rigid. Also it has printing to look unique and have the those gold parts that go out to the side of the helmet which we can’t have with the other helmet. So if your are using that helmet for the mark 50 or mark 85, I think it works
I think if you got the old ebony maw head put it on the new body, then try to find actual printed legs. I think I’m going to make a video fixing all these figs. That would be fun to do. I also think they should have done iron spider instead and I think they should make a new color for it because dark blue does not fit it. In the movies it’s a grayish, blueish, turquoise, kinda color. And they could have detailed it a lot better because it’s a very detailed suit.
This viking helmet in the 3rd floor is a very rare Lego piece which first came out in a Lego Minifigures Series. This figure and this sanctum set are the only way to get this rare and expensive helmet.🤯
The build itself looks fantastic! But. I think the height of it should decrease a bit. The mini figures are decent, but I do enjoy the new ones! Other than that, it’s a really good set, but I’m only going to purchase it just for the modular and the new mini figures.
Can you mod this set a little making use of the 6 studs in the back and then reviewing that with how you did it and what pieces are needed? Thanks you.
Well this is a great display set for adults. To Play with IT you will face problems because there is not enough place on the inside of the Sanctum. I wish there was a bedroom for dr Strange too. The figures are rather weak and there is definetely not enough printing on the Legs and arms. Interesting that on the cmf series everytjing can be printed but not in the 250+ exclusive set for example Vanda Has no printed Black pants.
I didn't even realize the space in the back. That can have negative ramafications in the enjoyment of the set. However I do think the set is worth the price despite the issues it contains. I guess the message LMST is trying to say is that "one bad thing about a leho set could ruin the entire thing as a whole". I am going to get this set, but only when the time is right !
Great review. You said you put the sticker on incorrectly of the sand scene.... Can you not swap the two sliding parts over so that it slides from the other side? Would that not have the same effect as having moved the sticker all the way to the left? If that makes sense.
i am so mad at lego right now, when i heard of this set for the first time i was like heck yeah, this is gonna be awsome. but now that i see it i'm just like "How tf could they make this set so bad that i could puke" they should have used the extra space. i was really looking forward to this set );
Thank you for your in depth review. It really helped seeing Parts of this set, that are impossible to gage on any of the official pictures :) That said: This set is in NO WAY (home) worth the 250 bucks! You pay for a modular and then some and don`t even get a proper modular building -_-
I really want this set, but unfortunately I don't know if I can afford it. Considering that I spent a fortune buying the Daily Bugle. But I might be getting it next year or when I can afford it.
I'm really interested in these modular-type sets, but this one just seems lackluster from what I've seen. I'm not sure if you have any of them, but how would you say this set compares to the Ninjago City series of sets?

I am going to get this set, i have the daily bugle so i am going to place the sanctom sanctorum beside it👍
Yeah I plan on getting it but I still need 60$ since its $310 here in canada
Absolutely! I’m already on my way to earning enough money to buy it. :)
I really like this set but i gotta agree that the 6 studs at the back could be used to make the build deeper to add more space to the inside
I agree but maybe use all of theme is too much, I think that 2 or 3 studs would be perfect
I think it’s 6 deep to be in sync with the bugle
Yeah it will add more play features and make space for my fat fingers
really wish they had those 6 extra studs of real estate in the back used. I'm going to try and order some extra pieces to extend the building to the edge of the baseplate if I can! Hopefully someone will post a video online how they did it as well! Great review!!!
I think the extra back space was unused so it could line up with the Daily Bugle
@@separate_entity001 yeah but when you line them up the gap makes it look not great, since there's a small gap with the bugle

That come piece thing on the side on the top floor with all the memorabilia is where you can hang strange’s cloak!

Very good idea using the other sanctum I was wondering what I was gonna need it for but that’s a good idea
@@heisenberg6142 I would remove everything that distinguishes the old one as the Sanctum so it's just Peter Parker's apartment block.
