    I know creating these tutorials must be hard, tedious work, but it helps us Octane users a TON! It's truly appreciated! 🤓

    Love this so much man, may I ask what version of octane you are running ? I am using R23 but looking to upgrade , I am not sure what version to get but thinking R25 for now , what would you recommend

    • @AlexMakashvili
      @AlexMakashvili Рік тому

      octane versions and cinema versions are different things :D

    • @NewPlastic
      @NewPlastic  Рік тому

      Yup just like Alex said, you're probably talking about C4D versions. I'm running Octane version 2022.1.1-R5. I always try to read what changes with every update, if there's something major I'll update, if there isn't I won't rush to it. Sometimes updating too quickly can introduce bugs and stuff like that. But yeah, always a good idea to keep up with latest updates.

    Great stuff! Thanks a lot for your help!
    I have a problem with Volume Vdb. I have the same C4D and Octane versions, I do the same than you and can't see the initial could you see when I connect the Volumen builder?
    Why is that? Could you please help me? Many thanks in advance!

    OTOY should reflect on themselves about something far inferior to New Plastic's content

    • @NewPlastic
      @NewPlastic  Рік тому

      Haha I sometimes wonder why their manual is so vague and lacking. But then I realize, writing a manual is very very difficult. I think their team is pretty small and they put most of their effort into building the engine, and kinda brushing off the manual. Then people like us fill in the blanks hopefully.

      I always watch tutorials for other programs/engines. Never know where you can find knowledge.
      But I'm aiming for a RS version of these videos too!
