Duuuuuuuuuuuude, you have no idea how much this is helping, best and most comprehensible explanation of Octane Ive seen so far. Amazing thing youre doing here, Thank you so much!
aaahahahahaha, you broke my brain a bit because i was thinking exactly in that lightweight Coleman voice but i never knew who he is until this@@NewPlastic Once again, I shared this with some Octane nerds and everyone is beyond grateful and blown away by this, best explanations of Octane so far, thank you so much for this :)
I'd love to see how long your notes pages were for this tutorial series LOL, insane the amount of detail packed into these, keep up the amazing work man! 😎
Love this so much man, may I ask what version of octane you are running ? I am using R23 but looking to upgrade , I am not sure what version to get but thinking R25 for now , what would you recommend
Yup just like Alex said, you're probably talking about C4D versions. I'm running Octane version 2022.1.1-R5. I always try to read what changes with every update, if there's something major I'll update, if there isn't I won't rush to it. Sometimes updating too quickly can introduce bugs and stuff like that. But yeah, always a good idea to keep up with latest updates.
Great stuff! Thanks a lot for your help! I have a problem with Volume Vdb. I have the same C4D and Octane versions, I do the same than you and can't see the initial could you see when I connect the Volumen builder? Why is that? Could you please help me? Many thanks in advance!
Haha I sometimes wonder why their manual is so vague and lacking. But then I realize, writing a manual is very very difficult. I think their team is pretty small and they put most of their effort into building the engine, and kinda brushing off the manual. Then people like us fill in the blanks hopefully.
Your Octane Node tutorials will be remembered by historians for years to come.
I'm quite the hysterian myself.
hardwork is real if this video is recorded in one go !!!

Dude, so grateful for this series. Please keep making these 🙏
Yup part 3 coming soon!
Man...there's such a wealth of knowledge here......The amount of potential for applying some of these obscure nodes is insaneeee
Mind blown. Thank you!
I know creating these tutorials must be hard, tedious work, but it helps us Octane users a TON! It's truly appreciated! 🤓
A wonderful human with wonderful tutorial.

Lol let's just say all 3 parts were over 22,000 words. Definitely the longest script I ever wrote.

OTOY should reflect on themselves about something far inferior to New Plastic's content
Haha I sometimes wonder why their manual is so vague and lacking. But then I realize, writing a manual is very very difficult. i use redshift but this is interesting lmao
I always watch tutorials for other programs/engines. Never know where you can find knowledge.
But I'm aiming for a RS version of these videos too!
@@NewPlastic this will be a bomb💣
Chainmail is the winner of the most weird and not explanado name of a node, such power behind a terrible name 😅
Ur discord?
