Sweet! They came out great! Man that chicken looked awesome also.
Yeah they really did come out good I'm very happy with the purchase and the install
@@TroutWest where did you get your bracket at I want to install a 20in. Light bar behind the grill where you put the pods at will that bracket work for the 20in
Nice!
Like the Lights 👍. Can you tell me how to turn on the Daytime running lights pls
I can't turn them off on mine...you might have 2 bulbs out
Anyway you could do a video on how you paired the homelink to the harness?
I can! Stay tuned.
Hi, Thank you for a nice informative video. My question is about the fog lights that you have used. I have purchased Xprite 4" LEDs but there is a gap between them and the plastic bumper. They do not fit perfectly in the openings. Could you please send me a list of the exact ones that you bought?
The gap is normal. I use the Summit surrounds in chrome and they cover most of that up.
@@TroutWest Thank you for your quick response. Will try to work it out. I thought it was not fixed properly.
Did you install the lights on the 2018 TH? I just bought the same bracket for my TH and noticed that the grill on the 2018 is shorter compared to previous year. I’m wondering if it will clear the grill.
I haven't yet... But I believe it should be good. Theres room to adjust too. I'll update. I'll be installing soon
@@TroutWest I'd be interested in a video on the full installation on the TH too.
@@brianhughes84 It'll get done... I'll do a more in depth on the TH
@@TroutWest Can't wait. I'm looking to possibly do this in the spring. If you could include how you did the wiring it would be much appreciated. Thanks again!
Hey what fog lights do you have on? Any chance you could share the link?

Looks like they no longer make the bracket needed. Anyone know of any alternatives?
Not for grille mounted lights... I'm looking into duplicating the bracket in this video for sale so subscribe to the channel because I'll be releasing that if it happens it's in the works right now though
Any update?
What headlights (low and highs) are you running? I tired leds but they flickered even with resistors in my Wk2
The stock headlights are the osram hid. ...I got the DBI bulb
@@TroutWest gotcha, so you already had hids not halogens?
@@brianspeight310 correct!
@@brianspeight310 if you add these ridges to the grill though you won't be disappointed no matter what headlights you had. They have different versions available like diffused, driving, etc. The long range ones look pretty cool too. They're actually tough to aim because they are so bright it's hard to decide how to ankle them
Where did you get your bracket will that bracket work for a 20in light bar I wasn’t to put it where you have the led pods at
www.4x4fabworks.com/products/11-18-jeep-grand-cherokee-wk2-d-series-grille-mounting-bracket-10j029
They sell a light bar bracket as well if you want that
@@TroutWest where can I find it at
@@TroutWest the same one or a different one
@@georgemartinez8691 that same company sells it in the link above
Hi Is your name Matt? , I'm Joe, I watched a lot of your shows. started with your trip to the beach ,with the mine lab Equinox 800.
along with all my detectors I just got one too. However , the main reason for this note is to see if you live near me. lots of the home shots
to the mountains is what I see, I'm on Sunset drive in Redlands.
Yeah I'm from the inland empire 👍
anyway that homelink would work for an airhorn? like you know momentary switch?
It should... the switch creates that ability through homelink.
@@TroutWest thank you .. but horn is momentary vs. on/off switch for light.. ..
also did you install that on this on the trailhawk?
