@violetfid whatever your profile pic is, it's in a 8 bit or 16 bit style (can't really tell). My point is, either you're younger and are swimming in the cultural wake of others before you, or you grew up in the 80s or 90s, and chose the aesthetics of that time period. Either way, you're proving my point that objectively most things were better "back then"

Watching this is like visiting a better world and a better time I used to live in and know a long time ago. I'd love to go back and live in that better world again. This is the next best thing to being there.
It was 1993 when I first started to watch usa up all night with rhonda shear and gilbert gottfried. This came on a friday and saturday nights. The 90s were such wonderful times and as soon as the year 2000's came, that was it was all over and it all went away.
Outside sounded better in the 90’s. The sun shined better. The birds chirped better. The air smelled better. The trees blew in the wind better. The rain came down better. All our hearts were fuller. The 90’s were just better
As a '90s kid, it was a great era to grow up in. Growing up in the '90s, we had it all: toys, music, TV shows, movies, and technology was just getting started, so we had to go outside and play, read books, and engage in sports. We never got bored, unlike kids today who, if they get tired of being on their iPads, computers, or iPhones, scream, 'I'm bored!' yet they won't go outside to play, watch TV, movies, play with toys, or read a book. Technology has reshaped childhood for the worse.
I had a mixed reaction to these. Some brought some good feeling, others despair. What can I say, the 80s and 90s were hell for me. We were abused and neglected. Often watching these commercials I remember feeling like it was a world I can never be a part of. The product seemed for people better than us happy smiling families were just some kind of Fairy Tail that I wish I could be a part of. I'm glad other people got good feelings of nostalgia, but for me I won't be coming back to watch these but thank you for all the hard work of uploading them and finding them for the people who enjoy it
I think commercials are the dream for which we all hoped. To me it isn’t my childhood memories so much as the elements of positivity, artistry and innocence that just don’t seem to be available in our current brands. I am truly sorry you had such a rough home life. May God heal your heart and bless you with forgiveness.
We have to remember that when we were watching these commercials it was during our favorite shows and often we would get the same commercials over and over again on the breaks. I think that’s why I hated them back then, but now with all these different ones jumbled on top of each other it’s like a Time Machine during the Super Bowl.
I was 6-16 years old between 1990 and 2000. The years I spent in those years were my childhood years, and I have the best memories of those years. It was simpler and better back then, when social media and smartphones didn't exist. As a fortunate kid of the 1990s, kids today have no idea what they missed.
It's crazy how many of these commercials exist. When we would record stuff back then it was very important whoever was manning the VCR hit the pause button right at those annoying commercials as to not have any recorded now here I am in my 40s watching them for hours.
This is a massive batch of ads compared to previous uploads. There may be a few duplicate commercials that came off these VHS tapes. Enjoy!

Don’t be fooled into thinking the era you grew up in was magically better than any other, nostalgia has nothing to do with quality and everything to do with a specific time in your life.
@@violetfid someone saying that while their profile pic is rendered in a thirty year old graphics style is hilarious.
@@mayomonkey-gen1 ??
@violetfid whatever your profile pic is, it's in a 8 bit or 16 bit style (can't really tell). My point is, either you're younger and are swimming in the cultural wake of others before you, or you grew up in the 80s or 90s, and chose the aesthetics of that time period. Either way, you're proving my point that objectively most things were better "back then"
@@mayomonkey-gen1 that doesn’t make any sense lol, yours is a black and white photo, does that mean the 1800s were superior?
Also, the funny thing is this picture was generated for me by an AI, so it’s the most 2023-ass art possible 😂
I loved that Lifesavers commercial. Those kids are so cute.
Hell yeah Dave! Looks like you made it 🎶 Thanks for letting me be part of the fun lately! ✌️🧈📼
I forgot how many made for tv movies there were back then
Outside sounded better in the 90’s. The sun shined better. The birds chirped better. The air smelled better. The trees blew in the wind better. The rain came down better. All our hearts were fuller. The 90’s were just better
I shed a few tears of joy watching this, thanks so much!
- Hilarious that I hated commercials as a kid but here I am in my late 30s watching a video of old commercials haha
Cringy you copy and pasted a comment that was left 11 months ago. Not come up with summit original when you have over 9 million subs?
As a '90s kid, it was a great era to grow up in. Growing up in the '90s, we had it all: toys, music, TV shows, movies, and technology was just getting started, so we had to go outside and play, read books, and engage in sports. We never got bored, unlike kids today who, if they get tired of being on their iPads, computers, or iPhones, scream, 'I'm bored!' yet they won't go outside to play, watch TV, movies, play with toys, or read a book. Technology has reshaped childhood for the worse.
Ah. Back when fast food was $10 or less for a whole meal.
I miss the simpler times of the 80's & 90's
This is a GREAT ONE!! Pinnacle time of shows: Wonder Years & Growing Pains. Was definitely watching in this era!
The 90s commercials are so warm and homie there welcoming I miss that decade simple and full of colors
I'm glad other people got good feelings of nostalgia, but for me I won't be coming back to watch these but thank you for all the hard work of uploading them and finding them for the people who enjoy it
Fairy tale. Tale!!!!
I think commercials are the dream for which we all hoped. To me it isn’t my childhood memories so much as the elements of positivity, artistry and innocence that just don’t seem to be available in our current brands.
I am truly sorry you had such a rough home life. May God heal your heart and bless you with forgiveness.
I'm genuinely sorry you had to go through those times feeling so alone. I hope your life today is better than the past.
Came here for nostalgia to feel better but the prices got me down all over again 😂
Haha. I hear ya.
Commercials and ads seemed alot more creative and fun back then
I found the SEARS commercial so ironic, loved it, I actually remembered most of them.
Mr. McDonald in the KFC commercial looks like that dude that shot up a movie theater.
I really enjoyed watching this! So much fun!
Did you know in 2024 2 large pizzas 2 crazy bread and 2 Pepsi (20 oz) cost $29.98
Wow these bring back so many memories! The prices and the fashion were great! Everyone looks so nice and natural looking 😉
5:01 Little Caesars! What a deal!!!
We have to remember that when we were watching these commercials it was during our favorite shows and often we would get the same commercials over and over again on the breaks. I think that’s why I hated them back then, but now with all these different ones jumbled on top of each other it’s like a Time Machine during the Super Bowl.
Is it just me or were Doritos so much better back then????
I agree with you
They were.
Yeah, they were so much better then
@@cliffhamilton2857 I think it was the trans fat
I was 6-16 years old between 1990 and 2000. The years I spent in those years were my childhood years, and I have the best memories of those years. It was simpler and better back then, when social media and smartphones didn't exist. As a fortunate kid of the 1990s, kids today have no idea what they missed.
The fries and the nuggets from KFC were a thing then too! INTERESTING!
90’s Retro Vintage Classic
It's crazy how many of these commercials exist. When we would record stuff back then it was very important whoever was manning the VCR hit the pause button right at those annoying commercials as to not have any recorded now here I am in my 40s watching them for hours.
HOLY SMOKES!!! AN HOUR AND A HALF?? THIS MUST BE MY DAY!!! THANKS DAVE!!!♥️♥️♥️
I remember so many of these, especially the AuqaFresh commercials, lol.
Thanks for taking me back to my childhood for a short while! Cheers Dave!
You bet!
@@DavesArchives you are Dave.
Aww I’m 32 now brings back so much memories 😢 life is so sort
