Funny how I'll watch over 30 minutes of commercials out of nostalgia but can't handle even a minute of ads now lol
Exactly lol, take me bck to the 90's
It’s not advertising to us now n there’s no pressure to buy anything lmao
The food looks so much better back then to me. Id like to try that Wendy's hamburger
@@derekstaroba that burger was probably bigger, too
Something about the commercials and cartoons in the 90’s were just on a whole nother level
Even then at my very young age during the 90s, I could feel it's comforting, dreamy aura. From the great commercials, to TV and film. And to think Terminator 2 was released in this era. Which felt so ahead of time. How I miss these simpler times when the craziness of the world didn't completely take over humanity. Thanks for these great reminders Dave
It had a wonderful optimism. I think the magic was that we had wonderous new technologies, but they weren't so advanced that we had trouble managing their use. We had new CGI for movies, the internet was becoming a thing, cable and satellite tv was widely available, mobile phones started to exist, etc. There was a lot of optimism about the future in general and the other wonderful things it would bring. American workers were still doing well. Wealth inequality, which has always existed, was not nearly so bad. We hadn't outsourced all blue collar jobs to China so there was still a middle class. Hopefully we can return to that world. Hopefully we can rebuild the middle class and learn to cope with the advanced technologies arising around us.
So much early 90's energy! ❤️
Wasn't it a great time?
Love the 90s stuff. Takes me back. I miss those days.
I remember these commercials sitting crisscrossed on the floor with my brother and sister ,freshly showered and my mom cleaning the kitchen “yelling don’t sit to close to the tv” lol I wish I can rewind those times.. when we was all alive and young , stress free
This all makes me want good tv back! Old school programming blocks on weeknights stuff like tgif I sorely miss!
I was so young and in my teens through the 90's. Now 43, and getting older. It's odd seeing these old commercials I grew up with. Who'd thought of watching them 30 years later...
I like how you did the edit on that broken Toyota commercial around 8:30. It works nice. Not all source material is perfect, but that one is a perfect example of "good enough".
Kevin Sorbo selling nasty diet mac & cheese, and Ray Charles selling poson diet Pepsi. man the early 90's sure where a great time to be alive, thanks for memories Dave!!! 👍
Man I miss the 90s
Welcome back Dave! Coming in strong with some 90’s goodness ✌️📼🧈
@ᴛᴇxᴛ ᴍᴇ ᴏɴ ᴛᴇʟᴇɢʀᴀᴍ @DavesArchives da fugk?!
Early 90’s and 7-11 some great high school memories 🙏🧈📼
Another great video that encompasses how the 90s were. From the delicious Taco Bell (yes, I work there, but still), to various snacks, vehicles, films and more.
Thank you for bringing me back to these 80s and 90s goodnesses that puts a smile on my face and keeping me relaxed and nostalgic. ❤️📼
I cant believe that television is already obsolete. I jever tought the world would be like this while growing up in the 80 and 90's
I miss the 90's! So many great memories and great time with friends.
90s.... the 🐐 decade. (For me anyway)
79 cents for a Supreme taco the 90s was the shit
Hell yea
The vibes on the 90s were so cool
Loved this era of the 90s
Pretty sure I was living in Ft. Stewart in Georgia circa 1992, but given I was 5, I don't remember much.
11:13 Good grief, those shoulder pads.
15:31 - 16:00 Never saw it in my life and I knew it was a fragrance ad three seconds in.
I always liked Toilet Duck ads for some bizarre reason.
Oh Lord, for a time machine to take my family back with me! Love the energy, the colours, the variety of advertisements. Thanks for the memories!
I remember getting Mr Potato head toys at Wendy's Restaurants in the 90s 🥸
No let up in quality, nostalgia and entertainment value thanks, dave!
Who would have thought I would put these on on the background while I do stuff in 2023. I used to despise commercials, now they have a humbleness to them.
Ah yes the infamous Disney Vault home release scam, I mean promotion, they ran for decades.
Happy meals need to be $1.99 again
Show's you how much the dollar has lost value
Top notch good sir
Thanks for taking the time to put these out for us, Dave!
Edit: What!??? Is that Hercules? 3:20
Them prices ❤️
Is that Kevin Sorbo @ 3:19 ?
Indeed it's Mr. Hercules himself!!!
This looks like it's from 1991 to 1993 👀😃
Ray Charles: "just crack one open and you'll see!" They played my man heavy on that one lmaoo
The mini streex was a memory I didn’t know I had.

Stouffers commercial also had Kevin Sorbo
Hercules shilling mac & cheese..imagine that
Watching 90s ads: gets interrupted by 2020s ads -_-
Awesome as always. Thanks Dave!
Holy cow! Kevin Sorbo Hercules in that Lean Cruisine commercial
I would definitely watch 90's cartoons with 90's commercials during the commercial breaks. Most of these companies are still in business, maybe they'd pay to have their ads run. There could be a tv channel for that.
I miss the 90s
I can’t believe I remember the Mini Streex.. 1992 🤯
I liked these commercials back when the ads had direction. Very rarely these days do you see a good commercial
"Wherever evil forces reign, in the heat of battle only one remains. In the final hour when you heed the call, courage to give your all stand or fall"_Stan Bush
~♡~What's the name of the song?~♡~
@@Hellkitty1984 stand or fall by Stan Bush

Laura Linny in the Habitrol commercial 😭😭😭
I love this, keep em coming Dave
The OG popcorn chicken was the food of gods
The priest in the Frosted Flakes commercial didnt age well. They liked alot more than just "Kids" Cereal. Minus the Cereal.
Food commercials are the best.
Cool 🥰
Jay Thomas hawking Toyotas
79 cent Supreme taco. I'll take a box full. Please and thank you.
I was a kid in the early 80's and throughout the 90’s, but I have no recollection of these commercials lol I never paid attention to them.
Commercials in the 90's was fun to watch. It's not like that anymore.
Laura Linney at 11:48
Yes! The toilet duck!! 😅
Did I just see Kevin Sorbo in a lean cuisine commercial!
Just made you rewind didn't I?
That Arresting Behavior series looked a little ahead of its time in terms of premise.
I remember when Taco Bell would put green onions and black olives on their food.
who knew we would actually be looking for commercial videos when we bitch and moan about it back in the day
Holy cow I didn’t know Kevin Sorbo was in these commercials? That’s pretty cool Hercules was awesome.
WTF? 3:19 is that the one and only Hercules enjoying his Mac n cheese?
😄
Wow. White people used to be in commercials?? 😮
Caught Laura Linney in the Habitrol commercial
Is that Juicy Sommelier in that "Never Stop Learning" commercial?
Nah, that was kid that would go on to play "Romeo" in "The Steve Harvey Show".
1.99 then

1/2 hour of early 90s commercials.
Cool 😘🌉😘😎❤️🤗🫂😁💡😂🤣🌍🚭😴✅🛑🥺😣😳😲😊👍.
Who is that person singing in that Taco Bell commercial at 9:12?
I saw in the comments of another video that she's lip syncing it and the lady's name singing is Loralee Christensen
@@stevenmorrison4692 wow! That’s interesting. I could’ve sworn for some strange reason that I thought it was Taylor Dayne. Don’t ask why I thought that.
Does anyone remember a commercial opening with a wise old man and it ends with him wearing surfing gear and saying "I'm dialed in dude!" Been trying to find it everywhere.
1-800 collect?
Merlin Santana 14:00 played on steve harvey show in the 90’s RIP shot in the chest over a girl
I smell 1992 coming out of this.
👍
Hot dogs plump lol but ballpark yuck 😝
One thing hasnt changed too many cars commercial
Hey is that Wayans brother graduating?
🥰
Made in the USA 🤣🤣🤣
Yay, Kevin Sorbo, a few years before Hercules and long before he became a religious nutjob.
This proves modern commercials are soul sucking garbage.
I have a question. How do so many people miss the 90s?
I was born on January 10, 1980, and so I grew up in the 90s, and I always thought the 90s sucked. I think today's world is a lot better. There was no social media in the 90s, there was no Netflix and streaming services in the 90s, internet worked like crap in the 90s, there was no smart phones in the 90s, not many people had cell phones in the 90s, there was not many good movies in the 90s, and video games are a lot better today than they were in the 90s. Music today is also a lot better than it was in the 90s.
I think today's world is a lot better than it was in the 1990s. I think the 1990s is very overrated.
Everything about your comment is why we miss the 90’s. The music today is absolute garbage. The rap today is zero talent. The country sounds like ridiculous pop today. No social media? No cell phones constantly in people’s faces? Yes please. Take me back! People were real back then. They could communicate and actually be together and not hide behind screens. I was born in ‘84, but I’d go back to the 90’s any day.
$2.69 for 12 pk of soda!!!
I remember around Christmas time Meijers (like Walmart in my area) would run 2 liter coke products for . 69 cents.
