@blacksheepboyz wow. White knighting for Camural; calling me a white knight. Yeah, I watched a ton of his videos jackass. Was subscribed even. To him AND Grumpy Eye. While I was getting info on how this or that thing was done in the game, it never comes without a dig at "still not a completed feature in year 12." Camural: "I won't spend any more money until CIG makes MY game." You're free to spend (or nor) your money the way you want--that's fair--but demanding that CIG make YOUR game? People always like to jump on the annual funding graph to support their narrative (not just this year. but seemingly EVERY year) that SC is dwindling, or failing, but this hardly seems the case. At least wait for a year to complete before you use it's numbers against it. And at least be honest about the entire year, not just the final total. 2024 saw the biggest May and Sept numbers ever (by far), even with a less impactful CitCon, it was still the 2nd largest Oct ever. With the late IAE, a lot more of the sales probably slipped into Dec, and the combined Nov+Dec numbers are only 2M behind 2022 with 3 weeks left to go. We won't hit 2023 numbers, and probably won't hit 2022's totals either, but 2024 still looks like a strong year. Not to mention that sales aren't just about the state of the game, but also about the ships they're selling. If CIG is releasing ships that don't get people as hyped as other years, people aren't going to pull the trigger as aggressively, even if they're happy with the state and/or direction of the game. I wasn't going to spend anything this IAE, but I was talking about being a bit ho-hum with my RAFT, and someone presented me with a cheap path to a RAFT>Starlancer chain and I suddenly got excited and bit on it almost immediately after giving the Lancer a test run.
A typical US Navy destroyer, like the Arleigh Burke class (DDG 51), requires a crew of around 300 sailors to function properly; however, the exact number can vary slightly depending on the specific class and configuration of the destroyer

I agree with you DG , about the Engineering /Repair features , Its one of the best Thing i Enjoyed About Battlefield , If you have ever played Battle field Can you imagine Having a tank or a Chopper , And going in to battle , Knowing you are going to going to take damage, the best part is having a engineer on board is the ability to back out, repair and get back in the fight with out loosing the asset ( Your Ship ) Can you imagine how much that would suck if you couldn't repair and have to respawn back at the start .
Eve, elite dangerous, starfield all failed to deliver on their first person to ship universe gameplay promises, only star citizen in its unreleased alpha state is doing it the proper way that’s actually fun and engaging. You don’t like the elevators, trains and cars to get to places in SC THEN to go play those games that got u fading to black, I’m sure those games will listen to whatever thesis U have on what they need to change 😂

I fundamentally think some people just have cotton growing out of their ears. Roberts has gone on record in 2015 that once Squadron 42 was to be released the drawdown of the pledge store will happen. The store as it currently stands will not exist upon Q1 2026. It will be changed with a lot of these ships no longer able to be purchased. That was always the long plan by Roberts. Even in the 2015 Q&A this was asked that Roberts had a plan to discontinue the pledge store. Even going as back as 2017 Q&A he reiterated. The best thing about being the sole owner is that you have the final say and can order things to be done. Im not even surprised that funding is now evening out. Come 2025 we should see three things 1) funding starting to slow down, 2) Announcement of Launch date for SQ42 that will be between Jan-April of 2026. My guess is Early March 2026 and 3) Come 2025 we may see some surprises. I just firmly believe people are trying to make mole hills. I do agree at the end of it, Star Citizen is at a Cross Roads. Its leaning more into MMO territory, therefore I do believe Death of a Spaceman will be retooled in such a way that will be less punishing. If its not then there's really no point, people will just play Rust in space...have a private server and load in everything they want via admin powers.

When Camural makes 800 million dollars in a decade he will have the same credibility as Chris Roberts does now. Camural has published no games over the past 40 years. Chris Roberts has published many games over the past 40 years. Credentials are a BIG part of credibility folks, it's plain to see how the words relate to each other. I agree with almost everything, but this time I have to leave a comment. In terms of ships, big or small, the question is simple, as I am a solo player, playing this MMO, I have to have a solution to be able to fly the - BIG SHIP THAT I BOUGHT - whether with npcs, blades or players . They do have to find me this solution, because I bought the ship, and regardless of whether it is big or small, I spent money on it and I want a solution and mine doesn't involve putting more players on it. Now from your point of view, I could only buy small ships.....and so CIG would go bankrupt....Friend, a game like this has to have solutions for all customers. As Chris said a few years ago, this is not a PVP game but rather PVE, that is, 90% PVE. And that's why I like this game, not excluding the part of playing with friends, but, seeing how much time I spend playing this game, more than 99% I play alone and that's how it will be.
On that note, CIG has his money already :P btw iam in the opinion that i want more immersion longer flights and more sim. So less Quantum travel and more flight. Also i want ships to feel the weight and not been blown away by wind as they do feel like paper now.
Ok, I will stop Pledging since I already bought a Polaris, But I support Chris Roberts Vision, This grand scale of a space game is ONLY because of Him.
