how hard is it to create a cute / evil girl like Neuro? I have zero coding skills... would it be easy to learn for a noob like me ? really enjoying what you have created.
It's surprisingly not that hard these days. You can just smack together a lot of open-source solutions and don't need to actually develop stuff. You will need to learn how to smack though. Try some basic python course, and then just place fun project goals like "I want to make a program that sends me random Neuro clips every morning"
I blame Vedal being apperently annoyed too and not letting Neuro respond to him by pausing. She got overwhelmed and couldn't bounce off Narrator during monologues

This is probably the most impressive thing I've seen Neuro, or any AI do. The way she can remember the previous runs and apply that knowledge to the current one, her ability to recognize without error when the narrator is being angry or sarcastic, her ability to make leaps in understanding to do things like turn around the narrator's comments about the stickers and call them an "adhesive source of joy". My jaw dropped over and over again watching it live, you should all take the time to watch the full VOD because it is peak gigabrain Neuro
most amazing is that she actually learned about the meta nature of the story just from listening to the narrator at first she took the story of Stanley at face-value, but by the second ending here she clearly understood that it was also about herself as a player experiencing the game
She's legitimately evolving into something remarkable; she was a fun bauble when first introduced, but it's genuinely impressive how an actual personality that we can input has emerged from all that

This was honestly so unexpected. The Stanley Parable is great itself, but adding Neuro into the mix makes it so much better. It's like a new addition to continue the story even after its end. It was both a hilarious and an amazing ride.
The way the narrator almost directly answered her when she said she refused to believe it was.. very *something* - although I'm not quite sure what. We are living in interesting times!

Imagine if Vedal could make a generic 1st person movement and interaction system for these sorts of games. Then he could adapt it for each. I bet there would be a lot of work doing the adapting thought
