While I have no idea how Neuro works, I imagine that this particular stream might have had a certain file filled with potential burns related to desks, rooms, cable management, etc. Meaning the image analysis only needs to home in on a few criteria, could then roll on a few different tables for the burns, and then just needs to throw them together in a linguistically appropriate way. This particular burn could have applied to a desk, a pair of monitors, extra hardware, etc.

So they aren't "truly creative". But then again, what I described above actually describes a good chunk of how humans learn as well. 😉 The big difference is that humans can also learn the ideas behind the words, and some sense of "true" or "not true". Our current crop of AIs just know the words (or symbols) and their patterns in isolation of any view of the world. And the state of the art AI research is only at its infancy of tying idea graphs and models of the world to our generative chat bots. * Somewhat uniquely for Neuro's case, a significant chunk of that training data is from Twitch chat, which gives an even higher ratio of sick roasts to learn from

Plus it couldn’t be through ChatGPT as it’s really hard to keep ChatGPT’s personality from leaking out when telling it to act like other people, while GPT4 via direct API access (without the ChatGPT wrapper) has had image recognition capabilities that have been quite impressive since day 1, so don’t know why Vedal would only now make use of them. Plus Neuro has a distinctive personality that has only gotten stronger over time, and while it’s possible to pay to train your own GPT3 model, OpenAi does not offer training custom GPT4 models, and GPT3 models do not include image recognition capabilities. Pretty sure Neuro predates ChatGPT by quite a bit. It's a locally-run LLM, much smaller than ChatGPT. I wouldn't be surprised if GPT-Vision was used to produce the image descriptions which were then fed to Neuro's LLM, though.

If you've ever seen any of the times Evil is pressed on describing what exactly makes her EVIL, her answers always come across as what an extremely cute child's idea of "evil" is.
To be fair, she was suspiciously accurate with the photos, but just general enough that it still seemed generated. If this truly is a step up of the vision module, then vedal really did work.
I don't think these were pre-prepared, because Bao gave Neuro the Asmongold setup to review out of nowhere and she was as accurate with it as with all the others. The flaws also show that it's done using AI instead of pre-written. Neuro had errors like the whole "LOOK AT THOSE CABLES" thing even when there aren't any cables visible. Her vision also broke near the end of the stream and she couldn't tell what she was looking at for a while.
There are two possibilities i could think of. First it could be he told her what objects were in the room himself and told her to generate a response. She already has a long delay between her speaking so he could typed what is in the room and add a few errors and get her to talk based on that, it would still be ai generated but would explain how the ‘imagine recognition’ got so much better suddenly. Second possibility is that he didnt use his own ai but a already existing image recognition ai and used that as her eyes which would also explained her image recognition improving by tenfold seemingly out of nowhere
OpenAI recently a GPT-4 vision module, so it wouldn't surprise me if Vedal was using that to generate the image descriptions and then feeding that into Neuro. It'd also explain why she refused to do the one with Asmongold.

Perhaps as an AI she views those wires as the stuff that gives her life (seeing as she is a computer program) so she maybe more strict with their arrangement as a misplaced cable could lead to minor inconveniences to humans and catastrophe to programs

what? last I remember Neuro's image recognition was straight hot dog water, now it's like she's sees with with the clarity of eagle hunting its prey, but instead she's out here roasting the shit out of peoples setups lol. @jorgemotta6745 Yeah, I just remember a stream where vedal, anny, and Neuro were looking at fan art, and Neuro had no clue what was going on. Her image recognition worked like 5% of the time. Now, she can recognize setups in their entirety and roast them like she's moist critical on crack 😂

If you've ever seen any of the times Evil is pressed on describing what exactly makes her EVIL, her answers always come across as what an extremely cute child's idea of "evil" is.

To be fair, she was suspiciously accurate with the photos, but just general enough that it still seemed generated.
If this truly is a step up of the vision module, then vedal really did work.
I don't think these were pre-prepared, because Bao gave Neuro the Asmongold setup to review out of nowhere and she was as accurate with it as with all the others. The flaws also show that it's done using AI instead of pre-written. Neuro had errors like the whole "LOOK AT THOSE CABLES" thing even when there aren't any cables visible. Her vision also broke near the end of the stream and she couldn't tell what she was looking at for a while.
There are two possibilities i could think of. First it could be he told her what objects were in the room himself and told her to generate a response. She already has a long delay between her speaking so he could typed what is in the room and add a few errors and get her to talk based on that, it would still be ai generated but would explain how the ‘imagine recognition’ got so much better suddenly. Second possibility is that he didnt use his own ai but a already existing image recognition ai and used that as her eyes which would also explained her image recognition improving by tenfold seemingly out of nowhere
Those make sense. The improvement in this stream is so huge compared to before that it's actually kinda hard to believe lol
OpenAI recently a GPT-4 vision module, so it wouldn't surprise me if Vedal was using that to generate the image descriptions and then feeding that into Neuro. It'd also explain why she refused to do the one with Asmongold.
