- Im Astonished! This, I thought at best, would just be the form factor and connection I was looking for! The Redragon K621 is PHENOMENAL!! I knew that Redragon was catching traction, but I really love the feel and look of this keyboard! This is full of features "The Original" does not have!!

you know your talk man! being able to present that the light was out of sync with the keyboard frequency got me, i saw a review these days and the reviewer wasn't able to tell why the effect was happening.
good review, I'll stay tuned for the long term!
Thank you for the kind words!! I’ll look forward to chatting with you in the future on other vids! Cheers 🍻
I know this is an older video, but this is one of the UA-cam vids that made me purchase this keyboard and..... I am not disappointed. It takes a little to get used to, but the profile fits perfectly to my needs. I have been typing on laptops and this keyboard really makes it close to that experience. Mine came with one stuck switch (arrow down), but luckily there are additional switches provided. My RK also has red switches, but the tactile feeling is totally different. The keyboard has a lot of build in options, wireless is great, but I use it only wireless if I am working on the laptop, on my PC it is wired, so it can charge. I can turn down the lights at night, because the LEDs for charging are very bright, but turning them down a little really helps. I don't know anyone else who is using this keyboard, I noticed the keyboard has difficulty keeping up with my typing speed, or it throws a lot of repeats out (letter E seems very much that way).
I got the wired black version of this and for all the crap I hear from keyboard enthusiasts? This thing is fine. Works great, no issues about a year in & I'm enjoying the low travel and quieter keys.
IDK why the enthusiasts hate this board so much (well the 2 I personally know) but it's solid for the price
The only thing I hate about this keyboard is the redragon logo on it. Function wise it's soooo good for the price
Thanks for the review! Just bought the horus keyboard from redragon can't wait for it to come in!
I loved your review man.
And I just bought myself a one!
thank you!!! This is my daily driver! I have really enjoyed it!! The main change I had to get used to moving back to wireless was battery life, but its not bad, I charge it maybe every 4-5 days which is saying a lot cause I am in this seat alllll day lolol
I just won this Keyboard from my works Year End function. I have been wanting to buy one for a while. It is indeed a phenomenal keyboard and for the price, its a damn good value for money keyboard.
Just bought the K618 (100%). I'm from Brazil so i'll have to get use to the US keycaps, but anyways, this keyboard is increadibly beautiful and have everything i need, just have and anxious waiting it to arrive ahahahhah!
Lovely review, and I like your style
Got this keyboard November 10th for my birthday it's amazing I came from a Razer Cynosa V2 wire membrane keyboard. Only complaint is in wireless mode the backlight doesn't stay on long. Then again you do have to understand that feature is power saving so it's not for no reason.
This one is solid!! I just bought another from them to try! It arrived yesterday gonna unbox and record it tomorrow! I’m excited this one is so sweet, I have high expectations for the other. It’s a 50% k632 I think it is off top my head?
ordered this keyboard the other day, the only thing that I think looked bad about it was the branding at the top. other than that I think I'd like it more just for the G Keys at the top. (and the price of course)
i think you can remove the top of it and scrap it then put sticker or anything
I thought about that same thing the other day, I haven't ordered yet, but I'm just gonna print out something interesting and cut it to size to put there because their font is ugly. if the font wasn't so ugly I wouldn't mind the branding being there but for $50 ish dollars I'm def about to grab one
@@theguycanfly98 no need to cut and print a new one, i think it's removable and you can out tape or something inside so no branding will pop up
sick review bro
i hope you can give out its long term review as well :)

That is the plan my brother!!! Gonna use a few months and come back once I’m comfortable!!
@@CoZChristopher waiting
I got the info i needed for me to purchase this keyboard thanks.
Absolutely! I’m glad you found the information useful!! Cheers brother!
youtube fucking search is so bad but i somehow got here
Muy económico. Aquí en argentina el redragon cuesta unos 70 dólares aprox y el logitech +200 dolares 💀
Great review... Just like getting review from a friend...
Thank you brother! Much respect and thank you for the kind words!!
This keyboard is hands down better value for money than the G915 tkl & I have both keyboards 👌🏻
See!! I wanted someone to validate for me! I love my G915TKL, but man when I started using this one it is crazy. I’ve complained that the G915 TKL is so bland, they saw the market room and capitalized! I wonder why they refuse to cover that extreme gaming market when they have the perfect products and brand power to create really flashy gaming centric products!
@@CoZChristopher I wished Logitech would make a G815 tkl as it really annoys me that the 915’s rgb lights keep timing out!
@@shaneday9695 I know! It’s more colorful backlighting than RGB
But I heard from many resources that its wireless connection is unstable.
can you keep the media buttons always on?
Got mine today but with the blue switches. I love it. I returned my Razer Deathstalker Pro V2 literally the next day after I got it as the wireless just kept on dropping. I paid 40$ for mine today and not a single issue as yet
This keyboard is a kept secret that needs to come to the light!!! Seriously!! So much for what you pay!
Point 1:once you map a macro(f1 , f2 f3 or f4) they constantly stay lit in white light ans you cannot turn them off or make them blend with the others.
Same goes for the G green keys.
Point 2: the software support is utter trash. i managed to brick it completely(returned it) by using the official software updaters from the redragon website. if you manage to update to the latest, you just irreversably flash the firmware into being useless(and you cant restore factory settings since all keys are messed up).
I got the redswitches one, all the other functionalities work fine except the ones stated above.
If you just want a cheap keyboard with macros that you have to constantly reset if you don't want them constantly lit, get it. The build quality seems good.
There is no actual fix for the bad firmware flash and for the macros/g keys lighting
Hmmm, good review. I think for the price as you mentioned, I might give this one a try for a bit. Thanks!
You will not be upset! Haha, I love that keyboard, the only reason I've gotten another is because of UA-cam and having to keep putting out content haha!! Cheers!
Thanks for the review, I'm ordering one lol.
What monitor are you using btw?
Can anyone tell me about the wireless latency of this keyboard?
Pretty good didn't notice difference when comparing it to logitech
@@ShinPorsche you have both?
I have it and it's real good altough the latency does turn bad when it has around 10% battery
Great video
Found this video since I’ve started getting into keyboard building. I came from a K580 Vata and I can attest to Redragon’s build quality. The Vata is great and this keyboard keeps in line with some of the things I love about the Vata.
The thing I would be hesitant on purchasing this for a work only keeb is the switches. On my main board I just installed the Gateron G Pro v3’s (Lubed) linear reds. You mentioned getting some Gateron low profile switches, have you installed them and how do they feel?
I have a K589 Red Dragon keyboard and I have issues with the switches since the beginning, I changed a lot of them cause they all begin to stop working properly. (red low profile switches) I am very hesitating to buy a Red Dragon keyboard again. What about this one ? Any issues ? Wonder if they changed the quality over time...
hello, do you know how to turn off the macro profile LED light?
hold fn+ esc for 4 sec
Good video, Can you tell me its still working fine do you find any issue?
Is it possible to replace the keyscapes (4mm) by traditional (11mm) ?
For some reason with mine, when I switch it on/off nothing happens at all. I cant get it working without plugging it in. No idea why, hope its not dead.
Nice video! Thanks!,,,
Thanks dude. This is a great video. I love my keyboards, too. Right now I'm using a Havit HV KB390L which is a cheap, tkl keyboard. The only thing I hate is the paint is coming of some of the keys. No big deal since I know the keys. But like you, I'm always in the hunt for another 'cheap' keyboard *that can make it happen*. Years ago, I had a Logitech K360. What a cheap keyboard. But it did the job. Then I paid $120 for a Razer DeathStalker. It warped and flexed, became uncomfortable. So I went back to the Logitech. Now I'm gonna buy a Redragon K621!
Thank you man and sorry I missed the comment! Logitech just dropped a new board and it’s $200+ that doesn’t make since smh this one has all the features
@@CoZChristopher No problemo. I just got my Redragon K621 today. So far it boast better quality than I expected. Looks to be just like you said. Looking forward to gaming Friday. Subscribing, too. Thanks, bro.
@@rexyoshimoto4278 Nice!!!! Let me know what you think over time as well! I want to do a follow up video! This is still my daily driver and living on my main desk for work and play!!!
Will do.
I gave away my Havit HV KB390L I purchased in May 2018. I'm confident the Reddragon K621 replaces it. I like the overall feel of the keys. In my opinion of the 2 keyboards are the keys on the Havit are simply too sensitive (fast). Not to be knocking Kailh switches, I was constantly making too many typing errors. Sometimes in games my fingers would share 2 function keys and foul a motion or quick kill. I've been more accurate with the Redragon. Lol, I don't reload my weapon (R key) when I'm trying to quickly enter (E key) a vehicle.
Nice vid! Can you tell more about the build quality so far, if you are still dailying it...
It is still in great condition! I actually just put it on my kids setup upstairs in a makeover to their gaming/streaming setup. It’s slightly lighter than the G915 TKL, but it feels good and is still a great keyboard I mentioned it today on my Amazon Shopping Guide as still a good buy!!
@@CoZChristopher thanks for replying so quick. So it is a good choice. I might buy one then .Thanks again!
can you change key colours individually?
Great review, I really liked it!
Just ordered one, can't wait to try it, but I have a question. Do the keys wobble? I saw a few videos about the Logitech G915 (kinda the replica of this Redragon keyboard) and they mentioned the wobbling as a con.
The wobbling is only on the sides of the keycaps
I bought this keyboard on sale for 99,00 PLN = it`s about 19,99 $. This keyoboard is amazing especially for 19,99 $.
where?
I like your style bro 🤣👍
But aggghhh! Why didn't they angle the USBC connector!
Yes!!!!! I know that’s the only thing, when connected it’s in a really weird spot!
Looking to buy the wired tactile one. Need to upgrade my previous keyboard has blues and it’s rlly started to bug me. But the real reason is both my mouse and keyboard had water spilled on them. The keyboard isn’t too bad but the mouse is almost completely dead. Trying to sell them both as a bundle for 50$ ish. To them help pay for a new keyboard and mouse. I’ve been looking at this since my favourite keyboard has always been the g915 but I’d never justify 220$ for a keyboard. So this has been like the main interest. Then for a mouse i want an mmo mouse so redragon again has the m913 which will be great for productivity and gaming. Plus I have big hands so that shape will fit great into my hands (I have a similar shaped mouse)
Anyone have an idea how to turn of the M1-M4 button. It stays lit forever in a different color and its annoying. I cannot unselect it.
Hi, can it be connected to the ps5? Have you tested ?
Yo what are those ( A ) (down arrow) on the left side of the scroll wheel i mean what indicators are they?
Hey, very nice review! Got a question. I have two computers on my setup, do you think If I plugged in the 2.4 wireless USB on the first device and the USB cable to the second device I could use the keyboard for both computers just by switching with FN 4 and 5?
Yes, this should work, along with Bluetooth and the dongle, etc.
Can i use regular keycaps not those slim keycaps?
Do people really call "INS" I.N.S.? It's short for Insert...
Subscribe! Got my 1st and second keyboard 6 months apart. Now I'm getting this one. Damn these mechanical keyboards.
Hahahaha man! It’s addicting once you start!! I’m holding out trying to stay away from the custom boards cause that’s when it’s get bad and expensive hahahaha
@@CoZChristopher I'm hoping this board holds me off for at least a year. After that if custom boards is the way then so be it.
I’m looking to get a simple keyboard like this with the same unique features, I would be mainly using for work and very little gaming, do you still recommend?
Yep! Also, check out the KLIM Shift keyboard as well. I did a vid on that one as well. This one is nice and quiet for work purposes, good low profile action as well! I used it primarily for work and some gaming :)
@@CoZChristopher okay thanks, after reading some reviews on Amazon was a bit weary but I trust your opinion!
do you guys know how to factory reset this keyboard?
Hold down FN and ESC for 5 seconds. Took me a while to figure out as the M1 key never turned off after using the macros.
@@heinifalk809 Holy shit, thank you so much. My M1 key was stuck in the same color as well. I thought the LED was fucked
i heard the battery lasts 2 days max, is that true?
Not on my end! I've never gamed on it two days straight, but my battery lasted weeks at a time easily with working my 9-5 (really 7am-7pm most days) and then gaming in evenings and content consumption.
Will this work wirelessly with the PS5 anyone?
Can i replace the keys with outeomu switch.?
Unfortunately this one isn’t hot swappable! Check out their Azure k652! That one would be low profile but 75%
@@CoZChristopher I saw someone pulling switches from it like a hot swapable
@@mayanksharma007 hmmm let me go grab it. I haven’t used in a while. I’ve switched my desk keyboards out a bit recently. I’ll confirm shortly for you!!
Hey sorry for the mixup! It is 3 pin hot swappable. You would be able to use other low-profile 3-pin switches. Did you get the post I sent to you from my channel with pics? @@mayanksharma007
it support hot swap but it custom redragon switch, but it make by outemu but the pin is a bit different.
I use K618 / K619 it same switch, You need to look for redragon low profile switch
how many single color backlight does it have? or is it only white?
It has multiple solid colors and rgb in static mode. You can use fn + del key to change colors in any mode.
@@rveeramos Can you change just some keys? I would like to put AWSD on Red and the rest in another color. Is it possible?
kylo ren fan... he not a bad guy.... too bad they didnt let mark carry the movie.

Poop for poor
