Making a Monster Hunter Great Sword in real life

I'm taking Great Sword main to whole new level.

This is my first attempt at cosplay or even working with foam. It's not perfect but I think it came out pretty well, and I'm happy I got it signed by Merryweather and Gunrun. As for the costume, I just bought a bunch of stuff off Amazon and threw it together; it was an afterthought. I did make a scoutfly lamp that hangs from my belt to go with the costume which you can see in the pictures at the end. I threw that together with a lamp cage from Lowes and a PVC pipe painted green. Overall, really happy how this came out for my first major project and I hope you enjoyed it.
