Soon you'll find yourself touring the world with the world's greatest Chefs displaying your impeccable sandwich crafting skills! Never give up on your sandwich master dream, you have the potential to be a culinary sandwich god!
I love the amount of effort put into making these. Not just the projects themselves, but the cinematography and sound design are excellent. Please never stop putting this much attention to the stuff yall make!
To be fair hunters have the excuse of being descendants of genetically engineered super soldiers. Might explain why they eat so much, gotta keep that superhuman metabolism up.
Marco Pohl, not really, have you ever looked at how the Hunter's in Monster Hunter actually swing the weapon? its not like Cloud swinging it around like a butter knife, its incredibly slow and weighty, and the hunters never really swing the blade in a way that actually breaks the laws of physics. Only a big overhead slash, and a slow weighty up-swing, with a janky looking side-sweeping swing that knocks the hunter's position wierdly. (WELL, its still impractical because nobody would actually fight a beast with a sword when we have guns lol, but its a power fantasy game, what fun is realistic swords? Id rather fence in real life than play it)
@Tommy Vang come on man, I love this game too but it does break physics in nearly any way possible. just look at the iron weapons for example. They would weigh way more than you do ( 200 - 500 kilos ). That means unless your feet are nailed to the ground there is 0 chance of you swinging that think without throwing yourself instead of the weapon. Sometimes you just need to accept fantasy.
Should I get a Ps4 just to play world? Im used to playing on mobile so not sure I'll like doing it on a console. Never played the ps2 one, started my hunting season with MHF2 like 12 years ago lol.
hilmanic28 I started on PSP like you. But I had played it on WiiU and DS before this as well. I also already had a PS4. But I think the transition is really good. Just having two joysticks to control camera and player is a huge benefit.
I've seen cosplayers create entire outfits from monster hunter with just paint and foam. However seeing it made from wood silicone and other stuff is so different but equally as amazing
I would love to see them make armor. I don’t care what the armor is from I just need some help figuring out how to make armor. Their style of explaining how to do each step is fantastic
@rynnwing Which glaive would it be? The ore one or maybe the bone one? The bone one would be cool because of the blade that flips out, but actually handling it would feel a bit awkward because of the heavier weight on the bottom.
Sage Hanson dont forget about the Behemoth Glave “Nexus Gae Bolg” or the Ebony Odogaron Glave “Deadline” or The Guild Palace Glave. All of those look sick in my opinion
I get that it's a joke but I know a lesbian who seriously loves beards. That's just how she is. She's even going though hair school, I forget what it's called, to work on beards.
Oh my this is... This is... I'm at a loss for words. And that's hard to do my friends! What would I like to see next? No idea but anything you do, I'll watch!
This video is so pleasing to watch. I love the way you explain the process! Big Sword has been my main weapon since Tri and you just portrayed it beautifully, thank you!
Wow I'm a big fan of all Monsterhunter games, I can't believe that you guys can really make it real! Great sword is always my favourite weapon. I like the details texture you gave it to the sword in real live.
I feel like I’m watching Man At Arms Reforged: Cosplay Edition, holy cow! Biggest difference would probably be that the viewers are learning the tricks of the trade alongside one of the cast members. Good on you, guys. Also, damn!-It looks as heavy and as real as the in-game weapon.
The thing i really love about this series is the fact marcus doesn't just take things out of Adam's hand and doing it solo. Instead he's teaching us all really and actually treating Adam like an apprentice. Really cool show and loving the chemistry between the two. Hopefully they can do something from Gears Of War next!
First off.....AMAZING JOB!!! I was scrolling through looking up information on MHW and seen this video. It really caught my attention for I myself am a greatsword user in MHW (I've only played the first Monster Hunter back in the day on Playstation 2 and this one...sadly). I prefer the greatsword over all else. The Buster Sword that Cloud used in Final Fantasy 7, which was originally used by Zack. The Zweihander from Dark Souls along with the Moonlight Greatsword. Anyways, you guys are authentic to me. You knew everything you were doing in this marvelous creation of the Wyvern Jaw Bone Greatsword. You two work well together and seem to have a lot of experience. I also like that there is no dramatic bull in your video. Straight to the point. Your making a life replica of a weapon from a video game, and that's exactly what you do. You two are artists with no strings attached. Visionary! If at all possible, maybe you could make the giant butcher knife style greatsword that Red Pyramid uses in the Silent Hill franchise. It's in several of the games and both the movies that were made of Silent Hill! Just a thought from a first time subscriber to your channel. Almost forgot to, but this is the first UA-cam channel I've ever subscribed to by the way! Again, amazing job, keep up the amazing work and looking forward to seeing more of your wondrous creations!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘
Loved the video. Fantastic to see these really high quality, informative prop building videos appearing on youtube. I hope this i a really long running series
Wow, this was a treat to watch. It's crazy to think of the shear Strength required to wield an MH Weapon -- one miscalculated swing - & You'd be sent flying right along with the Weapon itself!
coming from a carpentry background, now doing reno's. this was a cool video to watch. had aspects of my own trades plus some incite involving ur own trade. the video definitely works on ur fan base.
clicked as soon as I saw the video because HOLY S WHAT A SWORD PROP great job, Marcus and Adam! Would love to see Adam or his girlfriend cosplay with it.
Inverno I wonder if that's even possible... you can't really melt bone, right? And finding a bone big enough to make it would be really difficult if not impossible...
This show has a real Man at Arms quality to it...love it. I love these types of shows, keep them coming. So something I would love to see is any of the ShadowCaster weapons from Horizon Zero Dawn.
Wow I want to see more from these guys! I'd love to see them make an energy sword (I'd love to see how Marcus would handle the glowing effect, if it's doable), or any other prop from Halo
My only problem with this from a cosplay perspective is maybe they should have used a lighter material cause I can't imagine trying to carry it around or even pose with it 😅 BUT this thing looks amazing!
There's actually been a bunch of monster hunter sword making videos, surprisingly. This is one of the best ones I've seen. It's also got one of the lowest end weights, at least compared to how heavy the Because Science build looks to be. The guy there seems to have trouble even lifting it.
Whoever is directing this show is doing a really good job. My one suggestion is that you make the beginnings more rigid and consistent, such as always giving it a rating out of 10 and explaining why, as well as maybe some other stuff. Other than that, this show is turning out _really_ well.
11:53 “ This turned out to be a GREAT SWORD”
Well you got that right.
@Serena Maslon
Greatsword Builds ftw!
Adam looks like he could be in Monster Hunter. His beard is amazing
He look like a real hunter
He could be the smithy
He can be a dlc as a fat wyvern
Yes
Monster Hunter, sharpening hammers since 2004.
Lmfao right?
Christopher Mohr don't forget about sharpening musical instruments.
xDoodlebob8 true that
xDoodlebob8 sharpen fcking Hammer XD
Stropatici and bagpipes, and a fish, and a cactuses, and a teddy bear, a giant ham on a stick, a toilet plunger, ect. The weapons in this game are nuts.
Summary of everyone’s thoughts after the video:
I want, but can’t make, i cry
Magic Mac My thoughts were how much to make me one
Yeah seriously though I would rather have a foam one because of my little brother
That's why you go to the smithy. Or purchase it, but I'd rather use my gold for other things
You know what this show needs? Group reactions at the end. After they finish they could take those props and show them around RT. Not nesesery with every video but it would be nice to see peoples reactions from time to time.
Great idea!
I like it!
adam running through the office brandishing a sword as big as he is would be fun.
Or give it to a cosplayer and do a photo shoot
A Noob's Good Game whaaaaat? why would they do that? they don't know ANY cosplayers! none!
The Smithy: Behind the Scenes
I wonder how they craft the weapons I order on Monster Hunter though.
69? Noice
NEED SUMFIN MAKIN'?
I really appreciate shows where people have skills to make something cool. I on the other hand can't make anything more complicated than a sandwich.
Asmodeus They may have been born with some skill and creativity, but I guarantee you that this level of ability, which is very impressive, has been a long time of practice and learning. Which has paid off fantastically.
Don't put yourself down like that. Some sandwiches are absolutely beautiful.
Asmodeus Making sandwiches? You're already leagues above me. Sometimes I accidentally pour milk before the cereal.
You must challenge yourself! Set a goal everyday to make a better sandwich than the one you made it the day before. Soon you'll find yourself touring the world with the world's greatest Chefs displaying your impeccable sandwich crafting skills! Never give up on your sandwich master dream, you have the potential to be a culinary sandwich god!
Well they did kinda make a couple sandwiches too. Even toasted them a little :P
I love the amount of effort put into making these. Not just the projects themselves, but the cinematography and sound design are excellent. Please never stop putting this much attention to the stuff yall make!
"What good's a great sword if you can't swing it"!? lmao the truth has been spoken.
To be fair hunters have the excuse of being descendants of genetically engineered super soldiers.
Might explain why they eat so much, gotta keep that superhuman metabolism up.
just because you're strong, doesn't mean you can break the laws of physics: still impractical
(WELL, its still impractical because nobody would actually fight a beast with a sword when we have guns lol, but its a power fantasy game, what fun is realistic swords? Goraka91 Where have you found that information? Sounds like a halve-assed attempt to explain it.
Sometimes you just need to accept fantasy.
the different paints they applied at the end is key for its gorgeousness.
As someone who has been playing Monster Hunter for the past 12 years this makes me pretty happy.
Tayler Long I'm a hammer user🔨and a bow user🏹.
I have been maining hammer this game. It's just so much more versatile now. Pretty fast and that slide attack can't be beat.
MasterOfBlades64 been maining HBG since 3

Seeing the sword in real life and meeting Adam and Marcus LaPorte himself was without a doubt a highlight in my life!
So glad to see rooster theeth do something from monster hunter
caroline decker Teams of four sent out to fight all manner of monsters with highly sophisticated weapons... What does that sound like?
The Last Dragonslayer RWBY but it has vastly different themes.
I wanna see a switch axe if they haven't already
I've seen cosplayers create entire outfits from monster hunter with just paint and foam. However seeing it made from wood silicone and other stuff is so different but equally as amazing
"What good is a greatsword if you can't swing It!" Life lesson
Man I really like the production quality of Master & Apprentice. It's just a chill little diy craft show. Smooth, soft, quiet~
I'm so jealous of that shop.
Make more monster hunter stuff
Better grab some Whetstones
Should be able to find some at a lake ;)
Takes half the time to sharpen your weapon with whetfish.
Peter Pepper yeah but with odogaron set you literally only swipe once to sharpen your weapon..
Wolffang731 its ok...i have infinite whetstones
Need some demon powder
I love the final line, "What good is a greatsword if you can't swing it?!"
I'm a Monster Hunter and now that you mention that... I really wonder...
Don't know if I ever commented on this show before, but this is absolutely great. I love this series :D
I like how he says the "gs from mhw"
when the JawBlade's been around since mh3
9:58 "we had two sets of nuts" hehehehe
The fatalis or Velkhana weapons should be fun too. Nice job!
Love me some Adam, he seems so genuine and I feel like he’d give some damn good hugs
Adam vs. Jack. The very first Hug-Offs
I was gonna say "AHug-Off" But then remembered that Adam isn't in AH.
this show is beautifully produced, shot and designed. sick job rooster teeth
I would love to see them make armor. I don’t care what the armor is from I just need some help figuring out how to make armor. Their style of explaining how to do each step is fantastic
This was an insane build. Really cool and absolutely true to the source material.
I would really wish for an insect glave. Would be really nice
leon wagner And then make the kinsect a drone.

I am head over heels in love with your workshop. I wish I could afford half of all the tools you're using.
I'm a simple man. I see Monster Hunter, I upvote.
Max Kuthain Ah.
Max Kuthain guess we are on the same side, buddy.
Ah, I see you're a hunter of culture as well.
I see that I am not alone.
Alejandro Rodriguez nope ;)
This deserves a channel of it's own. Expert SFX guru and enthusiastic amateur working together. Brilliant concept, brilliant videos. Hooked!
This show brought my girlfriend to rooster teeth, she loves DIY.
You mean she loves Adam. Hate to break it to you., but it’s the power of that magnificent beard.
Contradae Well, we are lesbians so...
TheRainydayvideo The beard doesn't discriminate
1999 All hail the beard!
I get that it's a joke but I know a lesbian who seriously loves beards. That's just how she is. She's even going though hair school, I forget what it's called, to work on beards.
I love how they went a little more into detail on some of the techniques they used. I hope to see more of that in the future.
Oh my this is... This is... I'm at a loss for words. And that's hard to do my friends! What would I like to see next? No idea but anything you do, I'll watch!

Really digging this series
As a member of the site since 2010 this is one of my favorite shows yall have ever done ♡
Amazing!
Id love to see them make the Classic BFG 9000 from DOOM 1 & 2
Yes!!
I'd much rather see the super shotgun from Quake 2.
Master apprentice makes an achievement hunter table that's able to withstand anything the crew can throw at it!
I gotta say, this is one of the best made (and one of the most professional looking) shows Rooster Teeth has produced.
Loving this series, I honestly wouldn't mind seeing some Rwby Weapons like Nora's Hammer o0o
I’d like to see Weiss’ rapier, Jaune’s sword and shield, or Ruby’s scythe
Was going to comment that- honestly it’d be awesome to see any of the transforming weapons.
look up "AWE me" on UA-cam their a butch of blacksmiths who already made a few weapons from RWBY all made out of actual metal.
lief90 Loved seeing that. Man at Arms is awesome
Whatabout Mercury's weapon??
