Fun fact, Tarrasch played this game without the Rook on A1. Forgot to hide it :)
Released 23 mins ago and over 2.2k views!!! The world loves you Agadmator and deservedly so , let’s hope people talk about you at the bar and at the library
More and more embarrassment for the hoodie guy😐
@@dragstorm lol
Was it captured or it wasn't there at all for the entire match?
@@Megaterminator1302 Tarrasch played with rook odds
i am watching this channel since almost 3 years , but this has to be the best checkmate i have ever seen
ngl
To sacrifice the queen like that means tarrasch saw the rook sacrifice too. What a monster guy! I hope i can calculate that far! One of the best checkmates, no cap
Same
Same. Masterpiece. Been watching him for over 2 years
One of the nicest checkmates I’ve seen
I kinda feel bad for the hoodie guy... He never wins🙁
😂
Your at the top of the comments, serious spoiler alert.😬🖖
Matthias Burschowsky vs Ma Weiss, agadmator released the video 2 years ago, titled "the captures captures immortal", hoodie guy Ma Weiss won
Ok just watched it first time Agadmator made it seem mind blowing. No harm no foul. 😎
@@kohinoorbanerjee4009 You're right... I checked✅... Finally something to show in hoodie guy's career 🌝
I really love these older matches :3
This checkmate looks perfect. Every piece and pawn covering exactly one square around and on the king, with no overlap. Truly a beautiful mate
Oh man, his opponent really didn’t have any chance once the king was opened.
absolute masterpiece, thanks for sharing
This man is sick but is still making daily videos for us. Respect
Agadmator, you forgot to mention that Tarrasch even played a World Championship Match against Emanuel Lasker in Berlin 1908. So He was truly one of the greatest Player in the time between 1890 and The first World War.
Beautiful! In a million years, I never would have seen that checkmate coming.
Tarrasch - H. Romberg "White is playing minus the Ra1 and the a-pawn starts on a3 . " Three Hundred Chess Games " by S Tarrasch . XV. Nuremberg, 1892 - 1894 Page 266.
Seriously spectacular game!
Spectacular!
Amazing!
Marvellous!
I don't have words for this rare of the rarest checkmates to be even seen!
@Isaiah 1776 Indeed true my friend!
But the checkmate was way more aesthetic than that to actually describe in words.......I can find enough of it!😁😁🤣🤣
Beautiful. The king was dancing on hot coals with no way to get off them until he was dead. Awesome minor piece checkmate .
Was wearing my hoody because it was cold. Then you dropped a match against a hoody guy, so I didn't even need to grab it. It's like it was fate.
Same
the knight and bishop checkmates are quite tricky to spot in closed positions!
Wrong
That is a superb check mate.
Taking a moment to appreciate the beauty of that checkmate I just witnessed.
Absolutely beautiful game . :)
Antonio with Steiniz saga like GRR Martin with Winds of Winter lol, just kidding 🤣 you know we all appreciate your zeal and hard work for chess. Great job!
Happy for you that you are feeling better…as per usual, another great video…keep on keeping on…
steinitz saga is gonna be a banger, can't wait
LOVE older matches, more of that please! :)
. . . pretty impressive - these tactics - and also how you are always discovering such pearls out of ancient times . . .
Wonderful just wonderful ❤️
Fantastic game and commentary, thanks!
Wow anytime I plan that many sacrifices with that many moves ahead there's always a variable I miss like one escape path for the king or something LOL. What vision!!
Take more time.u will eliminate tht 1 escape path
Finally the mystery is over, the hoodie guy is non of other than agadmator himself😂😂
"Try to find mate in eleven while I give you a couple of seconds." I will go with "nope" on that one.
One of the most beautiful checkmates I've ever seen.
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 beautiful!
That's some Awesome piece coordination!
Love the channel. Thought it was interesting at one point you said 'clean mate.' In a video from a few years back talking about an older game the gentleman described his mate as 'clean' and you mentioned this isn't an actual term but sometimes a mate looks so good it makes sense to call it clean.
I used to live blog Tarrash's games back in the day
amazing 🤩, thanks for the video
That was probably the sickest checkmate I've ever seen 🔥🔥🔥
Very Impressive Black looked so Promising in the Beginning but what a Comeback by White just come up with such Spectacular moves
the sheer joy of seeing agadmator in a hoodie
Amazing game. So many sacrifices to get the king in position for mate.
Loved it thanks, great attack with clean ending.
Man modern games are great, but these old games are so much more romantic
"...the olden days and the olden ways". A truly spectacular ad-lib comment.
What an incredible checkmate!
Amazing! 🙌🏽
brilliant attack - love the old days!!
This line is so beautiful i watched it three times and still enjoying it till the end
This checkmate is a true embodiment of the beauty of chess! ❤
tarrasch is magnificient
the hoodie gets me everytime
great content thanks
I can often spot the first move of the pause the video moments but rarely do I find all the follow ups. Great game indeed.
I got it right up to the queen sacrifice but my calculations continued with the wrong discovered check and that's it. Not that I would have had any chance to spot everything. Going back with the knight is engine magic for me^^
Spectacular checkmate
The hoodie guy never gets old!:)
That is one exquisitely planned and executed check-mate !! / Dear Agadmator do take time off to look after yourself & yr family ! We, yr chess family, will wait (almost) patiently for your return !!
I really njoy ur videos
This was a spectacular game
Pleas upload more old games
Beautiful
Tarrasch is one of the greatest chess players of all time.🔥
Brilliant victory for Tarrasch.🏆
Its so difficult to mate with only knights and bishops because they have to not only protect each other, but block retreating squares AND deliver checks all at the same time. Extremely difficult to coordinate that over the board.
I saw ...d5 early on (similar to Two Knights Defense) which would have gave black a good game but that mate, uh uh, truly spectacular.
"Spot the mate in 11 while I give you a couple of seconds"😁
In the first half of the 19th century, European physicians-including Marshall Hall, Moritz Romberg - i would say its the Romberg we looking for?
i've looking around trying to discover if its that Romberg, and apparently Tarrasch in his book referred to this Romberg as H. Romberg, and the game was played in 1892 or 1893. Since Moritz Heinrich Romberg died in 1873, unluckily it cant be him :(
This mate in 11 is too crazy.
The deals with Magnus sound great. I hope Magnus finds them very profitable and rewarding.
beautiful!
Nicely done, hooray!
Tarrasch knows how to do stitches not just in the medical field but also in mate in 11. What a bloodbath
That is one of the most amazing checkmates I’ve ever seen.
This awesome attacking game is similar to another piece of art by The Black Death - Joseph Henry Blackburn.
For those you of u who know the game, congratulations, you are an excellent subscriber and for those of you who wanna enjoy another great attacking the game: Video Title "tired of all the draws? check this out"
Blackburne is one of my favorite players! Do you know the story of him at a simultaneous exhibition? One of the players had a glass of whisky by his board. Blackburne came by, picked up the whisky, and downed it. Asked about it later, Blackburne replied, "He left his glass en prise, and I captured it en passant."
Possibly apocryphal. But who cares?
We can wait for the Steinitz saga. Take care of your family, a daughter is worth more than a pair of bishops
😂😂
Wow, what a combo by Tarrasch!
Wow! Brilliant King-hunt!
Holy schmoly. Sick game I love this style
Crazy how far he was ably go plan ahead there
I play the scotch gambit exclusively! and when i saw F4 played I almost spit out my coffee.
Still a very beautiful game
- " I surrender !! " (black King)
Wow what a combination👌
Brilliant game by Tarrasch
Great video. I feel these old games are more instructive for expert and below players as we get to see some great ideas and tactics. Modern GM games don’t allow as much of this kind of stuff.
Wow that guy must have calculated all those lines in his head. CRAZY!
Holy Jesus! What a Checkmate
For the first time, I actually was wearing a hoodie when it was needed. Also, what a zealous steed did Mr. Tarrasch land on e6(I actually missed it, although I was considering a discovery)! The final delivery of the combination with the rook sacrifice awed me in exultation, and the dialogue "this time the knight returns with checkmate" will remain with me.
Can't wait for the Steinitz saga!
Nasty checkmate
Yes we are using these
Wonderful game
Olden days 😀😀😀 Nice one
Crazy game wow
Steinitz saga: Good news! Didn't know you were planning that.
Probably the best mating combination I saw after Edward Lasker’s.
I couldn’t find that winning sequence , what a calculator that man was
Wow. That was magic.
great vid... do you have any where a player was confirmed to be cheatin (and preferably lost) the match... love the channel keep em up :)
Very nice to make a queen sacrifice leading to mate, I made a queen sacrifice on Jan 1st against a computer so am happy Ill play better chess this year.
I was looking through this game over the board and I don't recall you covering move 18 Ne2+ if black replies 18 ... Kh5
If my analysis is right all lines still lead to mate and white sacrifices the rook, as follows:
18 Ne2+ Kh5
19 Rf5+ Bxf5
20 Ng3+
And now if 20 ... Kg6
21 exf5+ Kf6
22 Bg5 mate
Or if 20 ... Kg4
21 Be2+ Kh4
22 Bg5 mate
Finally if 20 ... Kh4
21 Bg5+ Kg4
22 Be2+ Nf3
23 Bxf3 mate
Happy New Year!
Maximum number of pieces combination seen so far.
This has to be one of the most beautiful mates I’ve ever seen
Awesome game
Thanks!
Very nice.. 👍
