About the Italian pronunciation: You always pronounce the e at the end of a word. So it's DavidE (the stress here is on the letter A) and De SimonE (stress on the O). Napoli was correct but the stress is on the letter A (it means Naples btw). Del Giudice has the stress on the U (so it was right) but "-ce" is pronounced like "che" in the word "checkmate" (and therefore you pronounce the letter E here as well). Also, "del Giudice" literally means "of the Judge" I hope that was helpful ;)

6:39 why is it not possible here for white to play Qxe8, and assuming black recaptures Qxe8, then white plays Bxh8, essentially trading the queen for two rooks? This seems like it might be advantageous for white, as at some point white can reclaim the open file with Re1, and then Re7 looks dangerous with the king so exposed, but I checked out the position in an engine and it says white completely loses its advantage Qxe8

14:00 - What could Black play besides capturing the bishop? Qc6 doesn't prevent checkmate, but it offers White the option to play suboptimally by trading queens, or trading his two rooks for the pawn and queen. (Best play is ...Rxc5, Qxc5 (tempting Rxc5+?), Qb7+, Qb6, Qxb6#)

Another defence at 14:45 could have been queen to C6, but of course also results in loss for black. Because after queen captures queen, king captures queen comes rook captures pawn C5 and also checkmate. Just to be complete.
The Plachutta is named after the man who devised it, Joseph Plachutta (aka Josip Plahuta, a chess problem deviser of Slovenian descent (1827-1883)). The move is defined as follows: A piece is moved to a square to be sacrificed. It can be captured by one or two similarly moving enemy pieces (for example, the queen and rook in the above game). However, whichever piece captures, it immediately interferes with the function (usually defensive) of the other piece. (Source: Wikipedia). Fun fact: Plachutta is names after Josef/Josip Plachutta who was born in what today would be Croatia (Zadar) - so he kind of is a fellow countryman of Agadmator.
10:10 Queen to c6 is checkmate if the rook captures (white rook to c5). Only good reaction would be queen to c6. White should exchange queens, since a7 is not an option because of rook to g7.
