I don't know how, but every word of this song rings true to me. Had the EXACT same kind of relationship and we broke up in the beginning of the Coronavirus lockdown. I was just kinda recovering and moving on from a very serious relationship and that's when I met her. Nothing happened for a couple months, then one day i texted her a lot of shit at 2 am, and thus began daily calls, which progressed to video calls and then irl dates. After about a month from that day, she told me she loved me. Though I didn't, I said I loved her back. She just seemed so wonderful, I couldn't gather the courage to tell her she was just a rebound. Shortly after, the lockdown happened. I suddenly had a lot of time to think, and I realized I still did not love her. I resented the fact that I had lied to such a wonderful human being for so long, and thus decided to tell her the truth. My friends told me to wait it out, to just keep lying until I believed in it myself, but that isn't love. I just flat out told her what I felt on a video call. She switched to just audio, so I couldn't even see her cry. It just feels so bad, but I have to admit that somewhere inside, I knew I had to break her heart one day, sooner or later. It's incredibly easy to feel like you're in love, especially after a breakup when you crave for it so badly, but the truth is, it probably isn't love. To anyone reading this, please don't make the same mistakes I made. Not only do you lose a friend doing this, you also lose any sense of love. it's almost 6 am. i was watching an idol (Xu Minghao who goes by the stage name THE8 of SEVENTEEN) livestream and this song, among plenty of others, was playing faintly in the background. i felt very relaxed just watching him not paying attention to what songs he's playing but then THIS song started playing and i just closed my eyes and enjoyed the tunes, trying to drown out his voice as much as possible from my ears. i kept playing and replaying the part where this song was playing and i spent a GOOD minute looking for it. i'm extremely happy i found this song, it feels like an achievement. i will sleep happier today and i found myself a new favorite song. the voice, the lyrics and the calming vibes of the song and just everything abt this song is amazing and perfect. im leaving this comment to encourage the artist and leave it as a memory of this moment and whenever a like is left on this comment i would gladly come back to this song and have a taste of heaven.
