    Foods Higher In Purine:
    Vegetables: asparagus, cauliflower, dried lentils, peans & beans, green peas, mushrooms, spinach.
    Whole Grains: oats, wheat bran.
    Meats: anchovies, bacon, organ meats, red meats, sardines, scallops, tuna.

    Normal uric acid levels are less than 6 mg/dl. more than 6 to 7 mg)/dl are associated with gout attacks and kidney stones.

      There is no food ( except water ) which does not contain uric acid. So we cannot completely avoid them. We should avoid foods that are very rich in purines or uric acid. Pappulu, palakura contain uric acid but they do not cause gout problem

      nuts can be consumed. A gout-friendly diet should include two tablespoons of nuts and seeds every day.       Super. Well said. If you stop protein intake, you suffer from serious diseases like marasmus and keashioorker. These diseases are 1000 times more dangerous than high uric acid levels.
