Michael King 👑 pitched seven innings, incredible! Luis Campusano had 2/3 of the Padres hits….a great game for both!
For sure
Great for Padres and Arraez a professional hitter

That's what I'm talking about! A key victory. Hello, winning record too
I was surprised 😮 that Dave Roberts pitched to Luis Arraez in the 9th. Big hit 🤎💛
We r lucky the dodgers have roberts, I hope they never fire him,
I kind of was too. Of course he does have speed but putting him on first would have at least set up a possible double play. He is the last guy on this roster that I would want to pitch to in a situation like that. I would definitely take my chances with the rest of that lineup in the clutch.
Don't be surprised if that's the last time that happens until the others prove themselves in the clutch.
@@mike-vq8zw Times have changed it will happen again and again and again. The Playoffs proved we can keep up with Shit A. The transfer of power is happening Shohei or not. The Boys haven't even heated up yet. dodgers are notorious for eating D in the Post season, I'm not worried about it.
Same
Ooouu I love when Don get excited!!!!
That was crazy game
This is how the Padres win. Just make the playoffs. And trust Cease, Darvish, King, & Musgrove w/Suarez closing.
What a game! Arraez is clutch! King was amazing and Csmpy Huge. Only negative for me is I’ve lost my faith in Matsui but I’ll stay positive LFGSD
To give chef yuki the benefit of the doubt, he got dinged pretty hard by mookie of his left shin. Gotta believe!
Completely lost all faith in Kim at the plate
Yeah he's struggling a bit, but he did get that huge DP to end the inning. It could've been much worse, so that's good.
LFG Padres!
King was awesome!
man so glad I was at this game... place was electric! king, campy, arraez! my voice is gone today but worth it
Welcome to SD Luis! My tucayo
That's what Bogaerts should do, swing more at the first pitch, usually thrown a fastball for strike
Finally Arraez is on a better team. Tatis, Machado and now Arraez, they have created a dangerous team.
You’re forgetting Bogaerts 😅
@@ian0903they all need to get hot
Seems reenergized now that he’s on a winner with a bunch of fans showing up
Good team ,?
@@RAMIIIREZ99 Better than Miami Marlins yes. Unfortunately, Snell and Soto are no longer on the team.
LFGSD!!!!!!
Lets Sweep LA already 4-2 against LA 🤘🏽
Still no titles😂
Can't sweep if you get SHUTOUT 🫣 can't spell sLAm without LA 💙💪🏽🤣
Worried about the middle of the lineup, can't say enough about King he is showing up big time. Keep grinding Ben. Shildt is making some good moves last couple of games.
King was fantastic
Great game!!
Great game. Lots of heroes but that's how to win games sometimes. Against Tyler Glasgow, you win any way you can.
Michael King pitched a superlative 7 innings/11 K/2 H/3 BB.
Yuki gave up the tying run on a high fastball but after that pitched the bottom edge of the strike zone and got the double play stranding Ohtani on 2nd
More great performances than can be listed briefly.
And Jack in the Box burgers tomorrow thanks to Campusano's early HR.
I say drop boogey to the bottom of the lineup so there's less pressure and give him the green light to swing away early in the count to help get him back into a groove. With this lineup hitting in the 9 spot should get him some good looks
He’s already sixth. Sure they could keep dropping him but his confidence is already down
@@TalkingFriars getting better pitches to hit will get his confidence back
THEY NOT LIKE US
What a game .. Dodgers are overpaid .. esp Will Smith 😂😂😂
Yeah paying a top 3 catcher 14 million year is insane 😂😂😂
Will Smith struck out three times tonight!
@@Tluihe’s a mouth breather
Irrelevant in this game
I'm surprised you weren't at the game
Had work right before
“Sallee Profar irrelevant “. He didn’t mean it like that. He was saying Profar was irrelevant in that moment in the game. Implying that the perfect game was what 5eu were worried about, not Profar
Fuck Waldo need another 5th starter.
Only getting three hits tonight is kind of understandable but no reason for this offense to be asleep against Paxton tomorrow. He is very beatable. It's not going to be 0 to 0 late in the game tomorrow night. Padres better score early and often cuz I think LA is going to go yard a couple times by the usual suspects.
If the pods make the playoffs, will u admit u were wrong, in wanting preller fired? I still can't believe he got the two biggest guys on the market, what r the other gms doing,? Especially the big teams,
@@brando7266 Yes Brando I still want him fired I am not mesmerized by two moves like this like you are
@@mike-vq8zw where were the other gms? He just traded for 2 all stars, and they r both on very cost effective contracts, , now if he can do another trade ( kim) and get some more pitching, we will be set for a playoff run,
@@brando7266 I guess the other GMs just didn't know what to do. They must have been out playing golf or out partying, maybe they just slept late. Clearly AJ is the only GM in baseball that knows how to make a trade. AJ likes making trades That's why 90% of this team was acquired from other teams. No matter what he does though, he will always have a team thin on talent after the starters. As usual the Padres can't afford for ANYONE to go down for any length of time because there is no one even close enough to replace them that anyone would consider adequate. That goes for the starting eight and the starting pitching. You might say that's true for every team but it's not. The good teams have a good bench and a system with which they can reach down and grab a player or two to help them out while one of the starters is out. AJ is extremely limited on what trades he can make because of the payroll. I would be interested to know what player or players he had to throw in to complete the deal with Miami. Miami paid his salary for this year and in order to do that he MUST have had to throw in another player. No big deal I'm just curious who it was. What prospect did Miami consider to be worth his six or eight million dollar a year salary? I realize everyone's answer is WHO CARES! But I'm just curious
@brando7266 Preller must go, he sucks Big Time in building a competitive roster and has a top payroll, bad contracts with no room to improve but makin trades.
Trade Xander eat the contract
You know as soon as he leaves San Diego he's going to become a hitting machine.
LFGSD!!! FRIARTOWN 🟫🟨⚾️🥸
