Hey, I believe I'm having this problem. When I finish creating the soft glow, light ray, and color corrector, I move back to the edit page to re-enable the video track below. On play back all I see is my glowing eyes in black. No more video image behind. How do I check the "alpha limits effect" box? All the best, Joe
sorry but when i add the compound clip, edit in fusian, and go back to edit and play it, it doesn't play my video. It just shows a black compound clip?
@@VideoEditorStudio I created a new compound clip and did the same steps that you mentioned in the video. It works fine so far, but as soon as I put a lightrays-note in fusion the background turns black.
I finally figured out the problem. I struggled with this as well for 3 days but I finally got it. You need to Add luma keyer at the end while in fusion.
When u add the SoftGlow u also have to check the "Alpha Limits Effect" box to make sure only the eyes are visible and not the dreaded "Black Box"👍🏽

Great tutorial. Is there a trick to remain on the alpha channel, when you insert the lightrays-note? It just turned black when I put in lightrays.
Not sure what's wrong without having the screen in front of me. But make sure you create a compound clip before going to fusion

@@Deathcry89 Hm.. sorry, not sure what could be the issue!
@@Deathcry89go to the glow node and disable the white A colour key. Try that
@@VideoEditorStudio in the light rays effect, i fixed it by checking the "alpha limits effect" option, and that brings the transparent background back
Does this work on black eyes with black skin because am trying it but the first doesn’t look the same as when you do it
I have the same problem. As soon as I add in the light rays, the screen is no longer transparent. It is black. Studio 18.1.2
