We want all who receive a Fesley guitar to be pleasantly surprised. It may not be perfect, but this is just the first electric guitar from Fesley! There are more guitars on the way! LET'S GOOOOOO🔥 🔥 🔥 🔥🔥 🔥 🔥
I am patiently waiting for the new Fesley guitars! Can't wait!
I'm down let's gooooooo!!!!
Is there a Tele version or bass guitar in the works?
@@kennyg63 All are in our product project, the only ones currently for sale are the HSS and the 12-string electric guitar. But the LES PAUL model is on its way and will be available soon.
can't wait
Best Wishes ~Daryn🎉🎉🎉
Glad you like it. And that was Metal Dude on the phone. I gotta keep my phone away from him.😅
Ahgggh ...metal dude needs meds. 😂😂😂
Metal Dude strikes again! 🤘
Yes sir, Fesley is a great brand. I Can't wait to review more of their guitars as they come out. So glad you got to check this out. Most don't believe it. Great brand at that price. I put a floyd in mine. Fun project. You Rock Brother. Thanks!
If they ever remake the Dukes of Hazard, you need to be the narrator.
He would be great, but I would not want to go behind Waylon. If Shooter is OK with it though.
Thank you Kathy ❤, almost outa the box strummer 🤘🤘
Thank-you Kathy !
Yesterday, i walked into a Guitar Center because I was bored. Played a used $129 Harley Benton. Nicest guitar I've ever played. Bought it.
Bro, been waiting for you to find this brand. I have done mine up a good bit. These have hardware funky stuff going on, but are well worth it.
Nice,i like the colabb with the bald shredder funny sh!t. Lol
🤘
That fret rocker scrap always sends shivers down my spine like a fork on a chalkboard.
8 days ago I made a post about my situation, and the stuff I did looking up this Fesely. Based on all the reviews I've saw, dating back a year, I ordered up this guitar. It arrived today. I told you all I would let everybody know what I thought about this guitar, good, bad or ugly ... and at 73 I can get pretty damned ugly. Well ... here it is.
I am absolutely blown away by how good this instrument is! I was NOT expecting that it would be THIS good for $119, including the ride.
When I opened the box ... and the real good carry bag ... I went over this guitar with a fine tooth comb and could not find a flaw anywhere. Next step was to tune it up and plug it in. Right out of the box it is simply outstanding. ANY beginner SHOULD be thrilled to have this guitar ... I started playing in the mid 19and60s, I'm 73 now and had pretty much given up on electric music, but I saw the review here and thought I'd do some looking. I ran some stuff on this that I haven't played in years and it sounds unbelievable through my old Polytone MiniBrute III. Way above expectations.
Every review I watched said that the neck is great ... and they didn't lie. I haven't checked the neck or frets yet, but the only problem I see so far ... I think the action is a little low for the music I play ... old C&W, 60-70's Country Rock, pop, Jazz standards and such like. And the the back of the neck isn't as slick as I'd like it. Both of these are easy fixes.
I'll check out all the basics: how straight the neck is, the frets, the intonation and set it up for D standard tuning. I'll put new strings on. But this are things I would expect to do to any guitar. Eventually, when I get a little money, I will put a G & B bender on it ... and at this price I won't care about drilling the holes.
Scar, ol' bud ... you were straight up with me and in your review. I appreciate you and will not forget it. I will be passing your name on ... Thank you!
That's good to hear! And I appreciate the Kudo, same to you, my friend!
I really like the looks of that guitar! I don't have a strat style guitar and I'm really tempted! Another awesome video, man! Keep up the great work!
Glad you like it : )
Awesome love the bald shredder. Looking forward to the collaboration. And metal dude rules.
Thank you Candy!
I have this guitar, fantastic guitar, my go to shredder. Change the tuners and set it up and you will be happy. And I am a subscriber of the Bald shredder.
It's funny how much you and I are alike regarding guitars. I thought that I was the only one who took apart a brand new guitar just to see what it's made of. I also have a nice tool box just for guitar stuff. I'm single, so I have it in my dining room. No woman to complain that it doesn't belong there! Rock on, brother. Thanks for the video.
13:55 What a nice tone with that setting. Jangle and Chime! Reminiscent of a Rickenbacker driving an amp just to breaking point. Very nice for a $300 guitar. Cheers from the Land Down Under.
Yep, that's the one!!! Gotta go order now!! Really like the channel man great videos, thanks for what you do🤘
Hope you enjoy it!
Yep, I have that one, feels great. Pickups are decent, I will still change them. Wow, that's sucks about your bridge. Mine came with a full block, not a crappy thin one.
Great show Sean and thanks for all the good information!
Well, since this video, I looked at every dang YT vid I could find on this Fesley Strat. There is about 1 years worth of YT vids about this Fesley. I have watched everyone of them and they ALL say the same thing ... the neck is EXCELLENT and the rest of the guitar is pretty good too. Currently this guitar is $129 (plus $8.29 tax but a free ride) on Amazon and there is a coupon for $10.00. I also had a $10.00 amazon gift card and $50.00 cash hidden under my mattress. Until my Social Security check comes, I borrowed the rest of what I need and ordered the guitar ... a black one. At 73 years old this will probably be the last guitar I will ever buy. I WILL let you know if its good, great ... or if I got hosed by YT. You can count on it.
Hey Sean, great to see you! I see a lot of people clipping the strings, in order to change them. If you look around, you'll find an association who sends them back to Africa. I've been doing that for 5/6 years, and I'm happy to know they will help some kid who can't afford them, and don't care if they're not new! . Keep up the good work!
ps same for Bass stings!
man i love your videos ty again for all the ones you do and this was great video and ty for that did not know they made those in fender shop
I'm tellin' ya Sean, Fesley, Aria and a few other companies are really steppin' it up! I used the Aria Tele I bought recently at a gig last Saturday...man...it delivered! I put a hot rail Tele pickup in the bridge, she sounded awesome! Gonna put a stacked Tele neck pickup in next. Great vid, Sean!
I love it and I’m just at the point where you opened it up. Same color my granddaughter wants in an electric. Hope it ends up being good.
When I saw these were made in China, I did not have high expectations, but for once I am surprised by a budget Guitar. For a budget guitar you’re definitely getting more than what you’re paying for. In this instance aside from the sawdust and the uneven frets. If this is the quality one can expect from this company than any beginner would be able to afford a really nice guitar without losing your lunch money.
I've watched several review videos of fesley guitar. Although the price is really cheap, the quality is really good. It's a really great guitar.
#notificationsquad. That thing looks pretty stellar, brother!
Haha, that was a funny colab with the Bald shredder/ metal dude.
The Fesley is a nice sounding Strat!
Can’t beat the price
That’s a bold statement! But actually they’re made in China, where coincidentally, the Fender Modern Player series was made, along with ALOT of other brands as well.
Thanks Kathy!
#notificationsquad
By far this guitar is my favorite guitar.. Another great video! Man, I think I can swing one of those... let me call the bank
Go for it!
Glarry sent me that same guitar you have and it is truly the _worst_ guitar I ever played! That Fesley looks great, I'll have to give them a look.
Did that box say "elecratric guitar"? 1:14
I just had a blind test set up at a local guitar shop, of four different Strats. I played, listened and felt all four through the same amplifier in the same sound room. I picked one for sure and was surprised that Out of an American Fender Strat, a Squier Strat, a PRS Silver Sky and a Godin Session. I walked away with the Godin Session HT matt black. Totally unbiased test by not seeing the guitar make first.
Were you blindfolded?
Hi Sean, awesome review as always 👍. I am subscribed to the bald shredder!👍 A collaboration between the two of you is absolutely gonna be a Home Run👌✌️😎. Sean ??,do you think that the Westcreek Revenge was made at the fender factory ? Because I bought one after your review of it,the Revenge. I was blown away because I believe mine was better setup than the one you reviewed. Right out of the box the intonation was spot on after only a few tweaks at the tuner knobs. I like playing it better than a 2017 (gibson sg) I have! I hope you don't mind that I complimented and thanked, (Scar my Guitar) in my Amazon review? Which was 5 stars. I wander ,does Bald Shredder have this Revenge? And does he believe it's made in the fender producing Guitar plant?
Again the collaboration of the two of you just might become Epic!
I believe you're on to something HUGE for guitar nutz like myself, who by the way is a beginner at 62 yrs old lol. 👌👍😎✌️💜
Love your channel man!
Thank you Kathy and Sean!
Dang!!! Nice one!!!🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
$129.99 on amazon today 12:52pm
Very Cool Review. 💥💥💥💥💥
Thanks! 👍
That Fesley is a great beginners guitar straight out of the box with minimalo repairs,,,,,rGreat job Sean !!!!!!!! Wombat the Aussie
Nice to see such a well made budget guitar where they got the pickups right. Surprisingly good sounding. Fesley did themselves a big favor by making so many good design choices. 👍 I would have liked hearing how well the Whammy performed. 🤔
I can't wait to get one! The great guitar in such a price is killing me! Thanks, a very cool review!!
What a cool guitar! Looks like I’m going shopping. #NotificationSquad
Thanks Sean. I just bought the same color for my grand daughter and below a bit there is a $10 off coupon so got it for just $140. What a deal and I’ll order the same fret sanding block as you used. What strings did you put on it? Oh I see you put a link for the strings so I’ll order a 3 pack. It arrives Wednesday.
I own 6 guitars, 1 is a bass, ive only got about 400 into all including 4 amps. Epiphone, dillion(bass), Alvarez (acoustic), cheapo maestro. Since ive been watching sean, ive gotten my epi and Alvarez tuned in so good they are way better than the prices i paid.
Don't know how you only have $400 invested in 6 guitars but good job. I have 2 Epis, an SG Jr. & a Les Paul Special, that I paid $75 each for & then $125-$150 for a setup. Then I totally rewired both, new pots, high bleed caps, push/pull volume pot to split the Humbucker on 1 & parallel/series on the other. The SG came with Grover tuners & a Seymour Duncan pickup & I changed the pickups on the other to P90s. Nothing original on either except the body & neck. I have a 3rd Epi ES-175 Premium that has zero mods other than a setup. Have a total of around $1,200 in the 3 combined, not including the OEM hard shell cases, which is less than any of the 3 if they said Gibson on the headstock.
I noticed a bad looking crack In neck pocket.
Do you see it too?
I did but don’t think maybe it was because think ole eagle eye Sean would have noticed it. Maybe he’ll reply.
Yeah, I saw it. It was just a surface crack. Must've had some router tear cause that other filler wood was there too.
I saw it. I checked the comments to see if someone mentioned it.
Will again, i have to say im impressed i watch the Bald Shredder as well i think that metal dude is smoking too much herb, its legal here in canada lol, think i might order one and check it out, thanks for sharing it, love your show brother .
This Fesley may sell for USD$149.00, but it sells for CDN$351.26 in Canada.
The current rate of exchange converts the USD$149.00 equal CDN$203.24.
Even if any duty is added, Canadians are really getting ripped off by Amazon.
Canadians are getting ripped off by their government. Amazon doesn't set the exchange rate or the import duties. I had a friend who raced stock cars in Ohio with Canucks back in the 70s. The Canadians would come to Ohio with a junkyard engine in the car, replace it with a new American racing engine & go home, cheating the import duty. Saw the same thing in the 90s in AZ where they'd come to AZ for winter, stock up on sh!t & go home with their new "used" products to beat the taxes.
You’re such a nice dude. I’ve been watching your videos for a couple weeks. I’m subscribing now brother,
I appreciate that!
Very appealing budget guitar. Looks great! Cheers.
You gotta leave the plastic on the pickups, Sean! That's where the vintage toanz comes from.
Well Sean , Cathy and viewers we received the Fesley in the video and the same color this evening and am blown away and nice this guitar is. The neck is perfect and the frets just need a tad of work. Will change the strings and set the intonation tomorrow and she went nuts when she opened up her new guitar box. What a great guitar and pickups sound fine for her. Also bought her a new Blackstar ID Core V3 10 watt amp which arrives Saturday.
Add an Obsidian Gilmore pots kit and a set of vintage fender pick ups, pit guard, paint it black.....
Would this be a good guitar to mod? I've been wanting a cheap guitar to build a frankenstrat. Two fender custom shop pickups and a Gibson humbucker at the bridge.
Sean, I went and pulled the trigger on a West Creek based on your review. It's a model called the Racer. Man, you were 💯% spot on. I couldn't be happier. So glad I found your channel. But that's enough flip flappin'... 👍
That is awesome!
I have a massive collection of guitars, most of them off-brand and a half dozen major names that weren't cheap by my standards, and a lot of these goofball brands embarrass what the major names are doing and charging. There are risks, but I've been super lucky in all of my purchases but for maybe 2 or 3, and with my background in electrical/electronics engineering science and numerous technical trades, I hack and heavily customize everything, even high 3 to low 4 figure guitars I own. I have at least 30 guitars ATM lol.
*With that said, a genuine Fender product has a feel none of my Strat knockoffs produce. They still select the neck and body lumber based on weight and density so when you grab one, you instantly feel the difference. *I have mahogany, sycamore, elm and other hardwood instruments, and even the heaviest and finest quality don't have the same feel of my genuine Fender stratocasters.*
*We are in the golden age of cheap guitars so I always tell players buy what tickles your fancy because as long as it's over $100, it's absurdly rare you get a lemon and sometimes even for $65, I've ended up with incredible instruments after some upgrades.*
straight up, just got an aria pro II that feels like a 2 thousand dollar custom
@@acidbath3226 I'm impressed that you read through the novel I posted lol. My IYV's have a few "rough spots" like needing bridge cavities, but beyond that, there's nothing else. For a guitarist, it's work beyond majority no matter what their playing skill level is, but it's work I've done in the many dozens of times.
I also built custom active circuits so the stock pickups are literally reborn, still sound 100% passive but have much better bass response and output, and I'm not spending 100 or even $200 on some Duncans or EMG's. I'm a shred and sweep player, so my standards are extremely high. I also went to college for engineering, so my expectations are incredibly high.
Sean sold me on this particular guitar!! Especially if you have skills, tools, and Know How (very important!!!)
Some of the cheaper guitars ive had were so crappy they could have been made by " sphincter guitars " but that one looks like a keeper!
Not sure why guitar shops, especially...not going to mention names here, but especially these chain big box guitar stores, don't have a guy in every store, that is tasked to go through guitars as they are received into inventory, to do what you just did in this video, in order that when a customer picks up a guitar, regardless of price, that it plays great right off the bat when a customer picks it up and starts noodling on it...a potential guitar buyer is first going to be attracted by how a guitar looks, and the visible features it has...first step, but I would think the next phase that would make it either the "I got to get this" or "that's a deal breaker" is the next step in the process, and that is playing it and the experience of that...does it play great and sound great? I don't know how many times I've put a guitar right back on the wall after being attracted enough to pull it down and try it out, only to put it right back...
Because the store would then be forced to add $$$ to the price to pay for the salary of the setup guy. My setup guy is the best in southern Nevada & has setup 17 guitars for me & they ALL play identically & wonderfully when he's done.
I’d like to see what you thought of the Baretta Special see what you would do with setting them up and if they are really a good option for a young shredder I think they’re better options for beginners, but they are pretty good for modding really. I just wasn’t really as happy as a couple people on ere say.
Nice! I think if it’s that good any level guitarist could have it in their arsenal.
The sound of the frets being scratched went through me like an x-ray
Thank you Kathy!
Nice guitar, for my money the best budget guitar I have ever played are the NEWER Firefly FFST's. 197 USD shipped to your door including shipping and tax. Mahogany body, roasted maple neck, locking tuners, ball end stainless steel frets, bone nut, HSS ALNICO pickups, a solid switch 5-way with cloth wiring, full sized pots, shield painted electronic cavity, 2 point tremolo with set screw adjustment on the trem block, heel wheel truss rod adjustment, with an insanely comfortable neck profile (IMO) and body contours. I'd highly recommend looking at these, there's not enough videos on them and they're sick, I adore my shell pink one I've had for about 4-5 months now and play it regularly.
That is a sick guitar for that price! #notificationsquad
Thank you Cathy,🇬🇧
Great tone from the pickups, especially loved position no.2 ,perfect nasaly quack.
K, I'm convinced. I will order me one up tomorrow.
Really a nice guitar for the money . I bought it to mod a bit but I like it the way it is for now and I play it all the time :) Really like the neck on these👍
If you asked me, it looks like an Aerodyne Strat. I am collecting your savvy to get me some killer backup guitars to take to small to mid venues, thanks for the reviews, just subscribed to ya!
I like the HSS design.
Haha @thebaldshredder is where I got the idea to review the Redid SG, but you (or Cathy) ended up ordering that Leo Jaymz SG. Did you send that one back yet?
I got the Redid SG...it rocks!
Sounds great! At the end!
Thank you Cathy!
Damn nice! I kinda want one. Would look amazing of those pickups had black pole pieces.
Love yer budget videos. Maybe you could do some budget amp videos. Some of us looking to buy a cheap 1st guitar are gonna need an amp too
Hmmmmm Maybe
I bought one of these from TEMU, arrived with broken headstock.
Return was easy, bought another from Amazon, arrived unscratched.
The big, ugly box WAS the difference.
Aside that, it tuned up fine, played very well. Built very tight.
Just need to change strings.
Mine came with a fat trem block love the guitar good neck profile no fret problems one thing I learned from a guitar tech is tuners don’t slip they have gears tuning problems are always at the nut the nut slots have to be widened and polished.
Gotta Love The Scar!!
Super sweet budget guitar!! Thx !!!
hi lovin the videos in the uk but you should realy try the Donner guitar.
Wow that sounds really good. Does it have ceramic pickups? If so, I'd keep them in it. Thanks for the review, Sean!
The specs claim it has a steel trem block.
That looks like the thin zinc block all cheap trems have.
Still looks pretty nice for a $150 shipped.
The block makes little to no difference……….
more weight than tone, if you like weight …..
and not ‘The Weight’ by The Band
🎶“Take a load off Fesley…. And you put the load right on me!!!”
@@warrenbutterfield4208 Opinion not fact.
Irregardless the specs should match what the guitar actually has.
Wow! I'm impressed. I kinda want one now.
The guitar was cool but it was you knocking out the kinks in the neck that made me think “next time I see a cheap guitar I’m going for it! Thanks
I learned a lot from all your videos to ssve money. I been pulling guitars since i was 7 yrs old. I find some in the trash and restore them Fender 70s strats 60s and 70s LES pauls and more. Thks Shaun🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
lol i found you through the bald shredder and Fulton street beats🤣
I think putting it in a second box is better. To each his own. Extra protection makes a lot more sense.
Dang man that the best Ive heard in 24 hrs
I would appreciate the hell out of that big box!!!
Yeah the bald shredder knows what he's talking about he is a good guitar player also
🤘
@@thebaldshredder thanks man hope you are doing well
They are at it again Sean
Very cool!!
$158.00 out the door, why not, it's on the way. Thanks !! I love the surprises of a good cheap guitar. The "Groove" guitars are sweet too. I have two of those, Tele and a Strat it setup for Slide using Pure BLues DR's.
@1:16 The box says this is one of them "Elecratric Guitars". Does this mean its got electrickery running through it? I don't much like electrickery. Its sneaky and leaky ... and it will bite you.
😂
Facepalm
Nice ! Good one for a newbie like me 😅
Good stuff and for a budget friendly price. It's $290CAD before tax up here in Canada from Amazon, so it's ring in at $330CAD. Double the price with the exchange is a bridge too far. IYV did a triple the price for the IJS-300- it lands in the US for $160 and that somehow becomes $490CAD. They are ripping Canadians off. Glad to see you doing a collab with The Bald Shredder. Been watching him for about a year now. Hen knows how to lighten up and have fun!
🤘
Its made in china. Should only be about 100 at most.
Just checking in on you, haven't heard anything from you lately. Be well and keep on keepin on
Did it include a wiggle stick for that trem? Does it stay in tune? Seems like a relevant issue...
Just curious- what makes you think this guitar is made in the Cort or Samick factories (where Fender import guitars are made)?
I’ve been following him, brother.
