I remember back in the early 90s we go out and have to do jobs that nobody else could do or wanted to do down in South Georgia and Alabama. We had a few to come in there to the shop. I remember one time putting an air conditioner in the bed of a pick up truck like it was a 93 or 94 F150 you should do a whole lot install back then.
Still need to inspect bulbs securement and insulation. I’ve actually encountered the flare connection between aluminum pipe and steel hydraulic hose crimp end. All because thread on hydraulic JIC connection matched the thread on the aluminum pipe. It was on Allis Chalmers tractor. They also eliminated high side gauge connection in that botched retrofit. Besides steel being rusted as heck - it took 6 times heating it up with propane to torch to brake that joint. Because aluminum and steel fused so bad.
condensation will occur = need to apply tacky cork caulking tape to the metal part of suction as soon as it leaves evap box . Also the Tx valve sensing bulb looks to be not insulated . TXV bulb where is it positioned 10 or 2 o`clock ?? The evap had tacky tape applied to it you can see some old tape DOH .......
@@paulthompson1654 correct no insulation over the suction condensate will drip under the carpet and cause mildew And the sensing bulb was not even installed before it was just pushed and hanging in the air .

@@commenter5469 correct the sensing bulb was not installed. It was floating in the air tucked behind a panel.
