If you think fillers destroying your nose is bad, you have to see what happened in this BOTCHED reaction! ua-cam.com/video/DnhKTBK6N-c/v-deo.html
This video makes my heart hurt thinking of all the people who grew up getting their noses pinched by family members who thought their nose wasn't perfect. A nose that breathes and gives you no medical issues is a perfect nose.
Amen! My nose isn't "perfect" in that I have a deviated septum (I can pinch my nose closed and blow air out of the corner of my eye) and a ton of sinus issues. However, I've had twelve major, completely medically-necessary surgeries including several brain surgeries and a thrombectomy to attempt to remove a major saddle PE from my lungs. I'm not keen on trying to fix a perfectly serviceable nose even if it has a few issues.
You do you folks, but be grateful if you have your health. Think twice about risking it for a "cuter" or "perkier" nose, chin, whatever. There are a lot of us with health conditions outside of our control who would happily accept an uglier nose for some healthier genes!
Amen, flat or not it's a gift...
Say it loud for the people in the back! Beautifully worded
I agree!!! I did not have the issue of my nose getting pinched as I have the opposite type of a nose. I have however been constantly reminded while growing up, of how tall of a nose I have in comparison to some people in my family. I used to want to lower it, but now as an adult I am just grateful that it does it’s job and it does it well.
You became too vain and need the change to look prettier. That is your nose, now it's ruined, live with it. Teach your children and love yourself. Liv
All I gotta say is please people go to a Board Certified Dermatologist with experience or Plastic surgeon for ALL skin invasive procedures, yes it is expensive. The most important, take good care of yourself from the inside out from a young age.
3 bots bruh
True. I do think it's disgusting how much plastic surgeons charge though.
@@kingexplosionmurderfuckoff9376 the equipment and products used is very expensive, and the time it also takes per hour. Hence the high price of a vast majority of plastic surgery procedures.
How about “learn to love you?”
@@cyoohoos true, but I've seen people bullied...I can understand why those people do.
let's clear this up, even to board certified doctors this case can happen dr. youn even said it happened to him. it's the procedure that you really have to think about, also i think in australia nose filler is banned due to high possibility of necrosis.
true, many plastic surgeons are against putting filler on the nose, as it can cut off the blood supply. i think i read that especially patients, that had a rhinoplasty before are more at risk to suffer from necrosis when getting nose fillers.
Certification can only do so much, even if the doctor did everything theoretically right, it could still happen. At least, this can still be fixed, blindness would be so much worse.
Yeah you have to do homework and ask questions you ask questions at every doctor visit no matter which Dr your seeing when it's your health care it's up to you.
It’s not banned in Australia
So glad you addressed the use of hyaluronic fillers vs non hyaluronic fillers. I had a very bad experience with Ellanse, a non-hyaluronic filler. My doctor at the time suggested that I try this new "breakthrough" filler called Ellanse to treat my sunken tear trough as is takes much longer to dissolve. She failed to inform me at the time that if there were complications, it could not be reversed with hyaluronidase injections. The result was a horrible reaction to the Ellanse which caused massive swelling to the point where I could barely open my eyes and then permanently lumps under my eyes. 4 years later and I have consulted numerous dermatologists and plastic surgeons and only surgery will be able to remove it. It also does not seem as the Ellanse will dissolve naturally as mentioned by the manufacturer. I would advise anyone to stay far away from non-hyaluronic fillers. It's just not worth the risk.
I am so sorry this happened to you, thank you for sharing your experience .
@@trustmemysonisadoctor8479 thank you. Not enough people are aware or doctors warn of the damage these non-hyaluronic fillers can do. I warn everyone against using them. The past few years have been hell since I've constantly been aware and have been made aware of the lumps under my eyes. Thank you for your kind words
Thank you for spreading awareness and I'm sorry you experienced that
That's awful that happened to you hope you have talked to an attorney.
I also had issue with Ellanse - it's way too thick for the gauge of needle it's sold with and that caused the doctor to need to press so hard it caused a huge globule od filler in my lip. It took years and years to disappear visually but can still be felt. The swelling was also pretty extreme.
I would be so scared knowing there is a chance I could lose my nose. I've always complained about having a honker since it's bigger than a man's nose. Videos like these teach me to be grateful.
My nose is way too small. We should switch lmaoo
but your beautiful!
@@tartaglia. Yes! I would love a switch.. haha. Small noses are so cute!
@@tiggercampbell6198 Awe! Thank you, Tigger! Very kind of you.
Your nose likely fits your face. Not everyone looks good with a tiny nose. Take Bella Hadid. Her old nose was perfect. You're probably drop dead gorgeous and exotic looking
I am so happy I've always liked the way my nose looks. I grew up in the 90s when nose jobs were probably the biggest thing being done that was publicly spoken about, but as a child I never thought having a flat nose bridge was ugly. I think my nose is cute. It doesn't need to look caucasian.
Yeah ur cute 😍
@@jokhaalhabsi5029 You’re right her nose fits her face and she looks pretty and feminine with it
Yes!! I totally agree ❤ you’re gorgeous!
We'll d'uh, YOU'RE GORGEOUS
Yes! Lot of "caucasian" women would be very happy to have a flater nose. But maybe some of them would want to have a bigger nose that sticks out, it they had a flatter nose.
And look at you several minutes in the mirrow and you WILL find things, that look really strange, no matter how you look like.
We had a very big mirrow in our bathroom and when I washed my hands, I thought: "Oh my god, I look like the very old puppet my mother had, when she was a child. My skin was so perfect, that it looked like that plastic (Schildpat). I allways wished my skin would be a little bit more transparent and real. Then I got pimples and I did not look like that puppet anymore. Oh what a relief! 😂😂😂
I had a non surgical rhinoplasty and almost had necrosis. The worst thing was I did Radiesse instead of Hyaluronic acid. Cannot reverse that. My bridge had a patch of color discoloration. However instead of black, it turned white. I even went to a board certified surgeon who does non surgical rhinoplasty everyday. Fortunately things resolved But it was still a scary experience and I decided not to do any fillers ever again. A cannula needle was also used for me. Several years later I did an MRI and my doctor found I still have Radiesse in my bridge. I just hope nothing worse happens in the future.
The only cosmetic thing I do regular now is botox and I do it more for my migraines.
Not trying to shame anyone who goes for surgical procedures. You do you. Whatever makes you happy. But wanted to share my experience.
Wow even with a canula there is risk! I am glad nothing bad has happened since. This is making me think twice of getting filler.
@@zaramahmood9628 The risk would be lower with the cannula needle. You do whatever you're comfortable with. What my doctor did was he punctured my skin first before inserting the cannula. Not sure if thats how it is normally done. Because the cannula doesnt have a sharp tip, he said it still needs to be punctured first by a regular needle. But even though he does this everyday, I felt very suspicious of his work because it felt like he was in a rush since he had many patients waiting
Thanks for sharing.
I'm so sorry that she felt the need for the fillers to begin with. She was and is a beautiful young lady, before, during, and after all her procedures. I hope she can move on with her life and begin to feel like the beautiful person she is!
I made peace with my bodily imperfections 5 decades ago, and my wrinkles 2 decades ago. There is nothing I'm willing to go "under the knife" for to be prettier!
Oh my god. I heard nasolabial flap and immediately thought they had taken skin from her labia. 🤦🏼♀️
Lol that would have been even more unfortunate 😆
I LOL!!!!
That would be interesting…
Your comment made me cringe my legs together though lol
That's not what was done here, but evidently it's (sort of) a thing. Here's Dr. Youn's video about a lady with a pube patch on her face. ua-cam.com/video/9JVrLNBCLFU/v-deo.html
I recently had a full reconstruction due to a severe deviation and a nasal collapse and my surgeon used Cadaver rib cartilage. He had remove all of the cartilage in my nose and rebuild it. I suggest looking into your doctor and doing your research. I am relieved and happy that I truly happy that I can properly breathe now
If that’s you post-surgery in the photo, he did good.
I really feel for this girl. I had a botched nose job (didn't look too bad in the beginning, but many years later when the swelling went down, it was obvious that the doctor removed too much cartilage), so I got a revision. The revision looks worse, and I even have issues like severe rhinitis, problems breathing, etc. I hate looking at old pictures of my nose because I now see how beautiful I was even with a 'bulbous' nose. Unfortunately I didn't think that at the time. So much regret. I pray this girl is doing better!
As an Asian and the only one amongst my siblings whose nose is not straight it did make me insecure at times but I think it's not so bad. Just gotta love and embrace no one is perfect especially in physical aspect. Important is we breath properly and have no disability. Each has their reasons to wanting to ennhance their looks.
Amen!
I think the less flat noses look great personally. It's different and really good looking, nothing about it is an imperfection, just different. And not in the condescending "oh you aren't bad, you're just different and special" way, but it just straight up looks really good.
5:16 "and I really really admire her attitude with all of this 😔😔" *not 1 second later* "This episode was brought to you by my skin care line... 😄😊"
Haha I thought that was weird timing too
I think that alot of people who are deformed in some way are usually really happy with the fix even when it's not 100% perfect. One of my breasts grew while the other didn't. One was pretty much flat while the other where several sizes bigger. I joke that i got one boob from mom and one from dad. I had a lift on the big one and implant in the other. Seemed like my surgeon was scared i would expect them too be twins lol. The only thing i cared about was that they looked simulere with a bra on and I could finally wear the clothes i want and a swimsuit. It's been 20 years and i am still so happy. I don't care that they don't look exactly the same. I will be forever greatfull too the talented surgeon who helped me.
I had a non surgical rhinoplasty. My nasal profile is nice but my nasal tip was hooked downward due to an injury. I come from the UK and went to an extremely skilled aesthetic nurse. I love what she did. I didn't even think of it at the time of the procedure but she recommended adding a little filler to my chin in order to even out my features as my nose tip had changed , I only had 0.5 ml of voluma, but I was amazed at the difference. I am happier. All I can say is make sure you go to a qualified nurse or dr who is experienced. Poor woman. Glad she got help.
Chin filler always look nice at first but slowly not so much overtime. Pls don’t get no more
@@MegaLadylove2012Respectfully, it’s none of your business if they decide to get more.
I feel so bad that she couldn't love herself before any nose job, girl you're cute and lovely just the way you are!
@carlykpdx she loved herself but there was definitely something going on because she said she didn't like her nose because it was flatter than all her family members which probably gave her an insecurity. I just wish having a straight or high nose bridge wasn't considered to be the beauty standard bc in many areas of the world flatter noses are the norm and are very beautiful
Honestly it sounds like she was bullied about it since very young, it can mess you permanently
My daughter just had plastic surgery done on her eyes. She has a rare genetic syndrome called waardenburg syndrome which her bottom eyelashes were in her eyes and she has too much soft tissue between her eyes which was obstructing her vision. She will be 2 in June but only weighs 18lbs right now. DR. Youn have you ever done any plastic surgery on babies or toddlers that small?
That "Dr Youn" that replied to you is not real. Do not send anything to that link
Just want to warn you not to fall for the fake accounts that replied to you under this comment 😇
@@juliajthjulia1329 yeah I no I reported that account I knew it wasn't actually Dr.Youn his account had no videos, no subscribers, so it was an obvious fake. But good looking out I appreciate it.

What a sweet woman! So happy she got help!
Thank you so much ❤
Live with what you have - love it - enjoy it. We are all different and should enjoy who we are. Don't do surgery or fillers or botox etc. Just have a better diet and exercise. Be your best self.
Thank you, Dr. Youn, for discussing my story ❤️
I really like Dr. Youn. I like his professionalism and sincerity. He's not like other doctors who would suggest to do something on a patient for the love of money. I also like the last part when he said: "Eat real food. Use clean skin care and only consider actual plastic surgery as the last resort."
"Every morning when I wake up, I feel like a monster"
Me, who was born with a cleft lip so my nose has looked like hers my whole life 👁💧👄💧👁
Sorry you feel that way :( I hope you don’t beat yourself too hard for something that’s out of your control
She shouldn't have felt like a "monster." There's nothing wrong with having a crooked/off center nose. Don't let her insecurities bring you down 🥺 It's a problem with her self esteem, not your nose. You are great the way you are 💖
I'm Asian and the only person who have a button nose in my family. I used to be so embarrassed about it and I said to myself when I grow up, I want a nose job.
But then I realised that I actually love my button nose and now people contouring their nose to give them a button nose 😅
I've been binge watching the good doctor for about 8-10 videos and what I've learned from all this is unless you are in a damaging accident to your face, leave your pretty smile just the way it is. It's just not worth the risks at all in the name of cosmetic beauty.
I can't imagine going through all that, seeing the skin on your nose die, and then risking it all again to have your nose look better. I would be happy to still have a nose. I feel like there are maybe some underlying issues to address in therapy.
That reconstructive nose job looks AWESOME, she is so beautiful!
She didn't need anything done. She's beautiful just the way she was. I hope it gets fixed her safety and likeness
I am so grateful for my gut feeling to have my nose filled by a a certified #1 rhinoplasty surgeon from The Netherlands 🇳🇱 after 3 years it is still in my nose tip, looking perfect and refined 😅
Whooooo? Please
Will you share his clinic please? Im also thinkibg of having this procesure done. I would be grateful.
I have great respect for you, Dr. Youn and the Botched doctors, in this case, Dr. Nasser. The weight of a person’s entire sense of self-worth and self-love rests with the extraordinary skill of the surgeon.
You’ve completely put me off doing this - thank you Dr Youn 🙏🏻
She is so strong and down to earth. New nose looks really good.
My first job was in 1971 at a residential facility for severely brain damaged children. One of the children had rubbed the front of his nose off all the way to the bone. It was so sad. He had arm splints and big padded mittens to try to prevent him from doing that, but as soon as the splints were off, his hand would go straight to his nose and continue. I always thought it must have been terribly painful.
I remember wondering if plastic surgery would have helped, but this self abuse seemed to be involuntary and most likely he would not have been able to resist or to allow it to heal.
She’s incredibly beautiful even with her missing nose so I can’t think the filler or any nose job was necessary at all
It was to make her happier, emotionally it was necessary
@@Panda-cute I’m talking about her original nose job that went wrong. The fact that she looks great with the botched nose job makes me think the original was wholly unnecessary
@@Nopi9 well maybe it was unnecessary, but again its her body so who am I to judge 🤷🏻♀️
Your honesty is so refreshing.
I appreciate your humble honesty!!
Listening to you has made me feel like you are kind and compassionate. All my love and respect. Thank you
I've seen this at least 5x and it shows completely watched progress bar yet it continues to recommend it over and over lol and I don't have the heart to dislike it - Dr. Youn is so amazing. I just keep watching it I guess
Again, I'm grateful for these videos
You need to be happy with what you have. Sometimes people always want perfection but it can back fire too.
Just wanna say thank you, Dr. Youn, for your transparency about your own experiences as a plastic surgeon. It’s refreshing and only increases trust in your expertise.
I am 20 years old and from Germany. I like watching your videos, very informative and honest about the risks of Plastic surgery
I like watching Doc Youn because he looks like the principal of the school I studied, he was a nice person and looked exactly like him
The young women is so beautiful ( inside & out)So happy that her nose is fixed and it looks great !
Hey Doc ! I just love your expressive face ! You radiate something wonderful. Thanks for the videos.
Sometimes I'm annoyed at my flat Asian nose because that and my oily skin cause my glasses slip down my nose all the time, but I don't think I could ever take the risk of getting a nose job. I recently got a wart or something (doctor wasn't sure what it was, it was a small bump that appeared after I got a blister at that spot years ago) lasered off because I kept picking at it when stressed and just waiting for that small wound to heal was already annoying enough. I'm amazed at how resilient the human body can be and how medicine can fix all kinds of things nowadays. I'm glad she could get her nose redone in a way she finally feels happy with!
I had a deviated septum after surgery, for many days I kept smelling something dead odor, went back to the doctor and found he had missed a gauze bandage inside my sinus cavity, where the odor was coming from, some say I was very lucky
Oooh my god. This application is very common in my country
Turkey??
Choose yourself everyday.
I know we're a litigious country and I'm not in favor of suing for just any little disappointment, but this was life altering. Melissa couldn't have found a better surgeon and artist than Paul for her reconstruction.
my favorite doc 😊❤❤❤
My comment got cut off at the end or the livesream, but I was saying you're an awesome doctor and if I could ever be blessed enough to afford plastic surgery I would sure want to u to be my doctor . ❤
I’ve been wanted to get my nose done for years but I’m so scared for the complications.
if you want to get your nose done, just be sure you go see a certified professional
other than that, you can't do much more
but hey, i don't doubt you're the only person who wants their nose done but won't do it or they can't
I’ve got a terribly weak chin, so I’ve been thinking of getting fillers for that. My nose is also fairly flat, but I feel my chin is a more pressing matter.
@@tartaglia. I can totally comprehend. What worked for me is putting an old school chin wrap.
FYI: Gardening works best for me.
Yes. I said Gardening. 👨🌾
Omg! You’ll feel your chin sweat out the toxins and can feel muscles that you’ve never thought existed.
Also, working on wooden projects.
Faster results than the gym.
same. at this point i’ll just be content with what i have
@@tartaglia. a friend of mine also had an extremely weak chin and for her it was a jaw disformation that was corrected with braces! Just if you didn't know already that this could be a possibility :)
Lesson learned, just be contented with what you have
Not gonna lie..his voice is super relaxing 😍
They did a beautiful job on her nose! ❤
Your story about how it went wrong before was exactly what I thought of as soon as I saw this episode of Botched. Though obviously this woman's case didn't come out as safely as your patient's thankfully did.
I just had my 60th birthday. My eye lids hang down passed my eyelashes. Getting any work done is beyond my budget. Therefore I live with what I am. 🇦🇺
I love how he looks at this lady's case. She seemed to go to a proper surgeon but just happened to be unlucky to face such awful complications.
Love these videos❤
Waiting for the video.... currently 9:00am here
Dr. Nasif is such a talented surgeon. Seriously.
She was perfect before getting a filler i too am flat nose but I think its beautiful and cute.. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
I love my body I live myself I love my face. I'm grateful.
Can you show more footage from Botched video as you describe the medical procedures?
I AM SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO BLESSED! TO LOVE THE LOOK God gave ME!😊 Along with my parents looks.
I was going to get lip filler ..but I'm scared cuz I would hate to lose my 💋..my thin lips..and thank you Dr..cuz my bb was asking for a bbb..I showed her your vids ..now she's doing squats..
I always felt like either you do it right, or leave it alone.
I always planning to have a nose job but after watching her experienced. I told myself.. nah never be happy for what u have.
Gratuitous picture of V! 😉💜
Omg just love the way you are ❤
Oh, that poor girl! I hope she finds some answers.
Your so awesome!!! While being a plastic surgeon you still tell people that they don’t need plastic surgery cause their already beautiful! I was highly considering getting plastic surgery but I’ve seen the risks and it’s not worth it.
TW right before my breast reduction a friend of a friend told me about hers... she was in the shower a week post-op and her nipple fell off, a few days later she lost the other
Warm compressions work very well. I never realized how much faster my wounds heal when I apply heat..
Plastic surgery is so terrifying. I’ll stay fat and ugly
Will you please tell us, Dr. Youn, which procedures you have had on YOUR face.
She’s beautiful.
She is looking pretty already after the surgery
Hello Doc,
I've been following this lady, Lure Hsu. She's like 45 years old but looks 20. This is pretty amazing. Would you be able to tell what makes her look so young? She really has a teenager's face!
Thank you!
A lot of it is genetic. Most people in my family look really young. Things that ruin your skin the most are: sun exposure, alcohol/drug use, and chronic extreme dieting. Keeping a little fat on your body will keep your face good.
Asian people don't age very fast.
I ended up here by searching for non surgical rhinoplasty. Thank you for sharing! Now I'm not so interested anymore.
I felt so bad for her. 💔
Hi
Dr do you use your products? Because you are pretty!!!!
😨😨😨 omg I'm scared already 😱
Asains look so cute and young beacuse of their faces yet they still seek surgery
That is the reason why we should be really happy with ourselves and confident. We need to take up surgeries only if it is really necessary not for personal insecurities.
emia meaning presence in blood
I don't think she even needed this transformation in the first place. She looked pretty as she was.
Wow this is so interesting I knew about some of this stuff happening it still scares me especially like an allergic reaction to being worse than what you had smh
Would leeches work in this situation to help bring blood flow back to the area?
Unless you need a reconstruction for an accident or severe birth defect, please avoid getting these procedures. It's not worth the pain and risk
Tcm Acupuncture can help her nose issues to clear the bruising swelling.
Hiii
Dr youn, I am living in Los Angeles California, unfortunately it’s too far away to visit your clinic.
Any doctor can you recommend me to do my nose job in my area?
Got a different question for you Doctor. What can I do to smooth out the skin on my eyebrow that was damaged by a horrible spider bite?😭☹
I have flat nose with a tooth gap peg lateral in my opinion as long as your body is okay functionally why take so much pain there is no need to change it thats ofcourse my belief
I think this beautiful woman needs counseling..prayers for the gift of healing and strength and peace of mind
I was shocked at the huge amount of rib they took out
