It's great! I've done it and I like it. Made my JKD alot more better with trapping and angling. Better to learn all types of martial arts than limiting yourself to one, so you can be a better rounded fighter
if wing chun came back to my city invercargill i would be able to go back to wing chun again to train,so pray to God it comes back here, if you believe God is real that is....i from new zealand
What about the center line theory? I have been training in Ving Tsun ( different from WT, and moved on to FMA / Kali ) and see some of the techniques shown very critical. Especially the slap on both wrists/arms. If you Pak Sao/Slap your opponents arm down with so much force, that you go past your center line, you are wide open to a counter attack if you miss your opponents wrist. What if he decides to not throw one - two but he does one and than a hook or starts swinging? Your trained behaviour will most likely leave you wide open even though you caught the first wrist, the second arm won't be where you expect it to be. Same for the chain punches shown so many times. Yes it's nice in theory but try to use them in sparring and you will quickly learn that it's not that easy to land. I would be happy to see more realistic techniques on this channel or show the techniques in a sparring situation without a cooperative partner. It's not all unrealistic what's taught in Ving Tsun / Wing Tsun / Wing Chun but a lot of it works better as a concept than strict application.
Pak sao is just a more potent version that a parry and Ving tsun just a different spelling of wing chun i think it is the mandrin version, To answer your hook question Roll out or Biu sau or pack/tan sau to take the steam out of his punch
I have a dream there chain punches don't uses ,. I use it only for look they exist. Come on man you got whole bui tze stuff arsenal and you do chain punches. Have great day ,inshallah ismine layık dini kisiligin vardır
What are talking about he was referring to seeing the attack early or seeing late which requires to different solutions. just like in boxing, You slip or parry or ride the punch depending on when you see it coming. The centerline theory is part of all stand up arts including Boxing search Wilson kayden videos
@@antonvrb1510 What parrying a punch, unless you are slow and incompetent and never trained a day in your life and cant fight for shit, then yeah `YOU` cant do it.

Nice
Sifu mohammed the best
Technique is universal. Body differences are the least relevant because gravity and physics work no matter who you use them on
I mean, the opponents face is like at elbow height hahahhaha
Maybe a taller and heavier opponent next time?
@user-xq8ii1ut7s the movement shown would be harder with a taller opponent. Just get a harder opponent, bearealmannn

Sifu Ye?
chain punches, mechanical punches
Lol, this nonsense, stopping time and moving in 4th of dimensions. I love him talking about a real fight.

wing tsun?! not wing chun? 🙃
Same thing
Well that's cringe. No way this bogus slomo shit works on an actual human
I'm no expert, but it does seem a bit unrealistic. Perhaps I am just too slow.
