Hi LEGO I have stumbled upon your channel about 3 months ago, and you have gotten me into cubing. I am getting a few cubes for Christmas. One of those cubes is a gear cube. What kind of cube would I know how to solve to solve a gear cube? (Also love your videos)
You could probably figure it out without much previous solving experience at all; it’s much easier than a 3x3 or even 2x2.

8:06 Why did you move up that 2x1 block. There was a single edge right next to it you could’ve moved up instead, or you could’ve preserved the corner of the block so you can put in the edge replacing the block, and then move the edge out of the way and bring the bar back. You also could’ve set it up so that when you brought that corner down, it would lined up with the edge, and you would have a 2x1 bar, but I know it’s because it would make the tutorial easier to understand and learn.

If you have the Stickerless version, you need to know how to solve a 3x3 because there are internal edges that have the sticker colors, but they’re just obviously not stickered.

Clover or Pentacle?
The pentacle isn’t that exciting since it’s so similar to a curvy copter, but they’re both good puzzles.
10:47 You could’ve moved the orange bar to the right after you formed it, and then when you brought the corners back, it would be finished.
I know, that’s what I would’ve done had I not been explaining it.
i find it really hard to do the corners
this is the worlds scariest cube cuz it is the worlds 13th,0st,or 666th cube but also it is the worlds cursed cube this video needs 666 likes
I have a problem regarding the skewb. So the white, yellow and red sides are solved and the corners are permuted correctly and match each other, but the green, orange and blue centers are in different places. HELP ME
I’m assuming that you’re using a basic beginner’s method that starts with one layer, the opposite corners, the opposite center, then the last 4 centers. Just choose one of the solved sides to be the one that you’ve already solved, then go through the rest of the steps from there (the next step would probably be putting the opposite center on top).

Play around with any standard 2 or 3 cube for a week, it will become second nature to you
