Great flight Greg, and a really informative video. That almost impact in the soybeans was closer than I thought. Folks, Greg was being modest. The wind was coming from 6 different directions and gusting like mad that day.
Thanks, Doug. I was hoping you saw this video. I was unclear exactly what happened when you saw it on Saturday. It looked like a stall, but I never got a stall warning from telemetry. The stick shaker goes off below 21 kts. The speed never got below 22. Of course it can stall at any speed if the AoA is too high, or the bank angle is too much for that speed. Anyway, I've warned others about staying high to avoid the turbulence from those trees. I should have followed my own advice!
