That’s all BJennings is saying, you use unnecessary energy to clear up something that is irrelevant and doesn’t break you or build you… just a response charged from emotion. We can say “it’s only a 2 hour podcast” but in reality, those are precious hours being spent on something other than: recovery, film or simply relaxing. I agree with Brandon and Rashad just imagine today with Gil’s example of a player being demonized and villainized where a podcast can “help” them……Jaylen Brown is being black balled very slowly right now PAUSE it’s only slow because he’s playing well and he’s winning but the moment he isn’t the narrative is going to flip……and the LAST THING he need is a podcast!!!!!!! Let it die down and go away current athletes don’t need a podcast!!!

      @BossQuis Місяць тому

      Yeah it depends on the narrative that’s being put out. I remember when the kyire situation happen he got on live and talked about it. Even got on live with KD because they was saying kd tired of kyire for not getting the covid shot.

      But why though? Dude is unproblematic and does not allow the league to control his narrative. He just doesn’t bow down for them to parade him around anyway they feel like it. I don’t get why they black balling him.

    PGs podcast is dope and I preferred to hear his take on the trade and how it happened, vs what a reporter tells us.

    There’s countless journalists that would’ve paid Gil for an exclusive interview about the burner incident. Superstar NBA players have always had an ability to “change the narrative.”

    interesting points from everyone on this,. But i wonder, what if a active NBA player goes on a retired/not active nba players podcast and they give their side of story? Example would be when Lou Will went on Shaq's podcast and explained the Lemon pepper wings situation when he left the bubble for a funeral.
