Lying here, with a cold, being a burrito, and I get a notification. Aki's taking us on a field trip! That place looks amazing! I'd want to camp out for a week, just to study the artwork. The lines and colors are so clean, and there's so much detail! Thank you for bringing us along, and for the tips on shopping.
“The minimalist inside me told me to chill” if that’s not the most relatable thing I’ve heard all week 😂😂😂 Especially because I genuinely had to get a few household items this week and it felt like so many things but every single one of them is already in its place/being used
I have never heard of Ghibli. I am a senior and have not traveled much. But what I have seen in your videos I just love your homeland Japan Your videos are so informative and show beautiful places. This place is just wonderful you showed today. You really used your time well also. I would have purchased all that I could have afforded. I guess that tells you I am not a minimalist, but I should be (ha) Thank you for the terrific visit to "Ghibli" so amazing.
What a wonderful tour! I want to Goooo 🤯🤩. I’m a Big fan of your videos and of Ghibli movies as well. Thank you for the video Samurai Matcha 🙏🏼🍵 Greetings from Guatemala 🇬🇹
Thank you for the tour I’m planning my trip to Japan in Nov/Dec this year and will stay in Nagoya for a few days. I will definitely plan to visit Ghibli Park 🤩
I love that you say how much you want to buy everything! I know I would have a hard time choosing just one or two things, as well, because everything is so cute!
Another great video.☺ I want to experience Ghibli Park too. It looks so beautiful😍. You have all my respect for not buying too much. I would leave all my money there. 😂
Ohhh wahouu, I hope I will be able to visit this Ghibli warehouse one day, my love for Ghibli movies began with Princess Mononoke when I was around 10 or 11 I think, and this love never left me after that. I still watch them sometimes because it is such a wonderful and rich univers ! Thank you as always Aki for this video and I too find it weird that there is not matcha not even latte! Have a wonderful day ! ❤
What an exciting place! 🤩 It was cool to see Kaonashi-No Face who is my favourite character :)) I guess one should spend a whole day there to be able to fully explore everything! Thank you for this wonderful trip!💫
Thank you for sharing your experience and recommendations! 🙏 I think I have watched all the Ghibli movies available in the US. I especially love My NeighborTotoro! 💜
thanks for taking us along on this trip! i've never watched this show (movie? cartoon?) despite its popularity and now i really want to! loved to see your enthusiasm. we must never let our inner child die!
ohmygooood I'm so excited! I'm planning to go to Japan next year, so no one better than you to give tips to whereabout (and where to get delicious Matcha, Ghibli relatd stuff and, maybe great Ramen?!)
Looks like a lot of great photo opportunities..www..your photos are funny..usually I don't like museums but this museum looks fun!! I am glad you and your friend enjoyed the trip...楽しいそう~~
In December/January in London i think it was the original composer of many of the Ghibli music made a live theatre “Totoro” play also sponsored by the Royal Shakespeare Company. It was an all (or mostly) Japanese (or British Japanese) cast and they played in the Barbican theatre. It was really brilliant and I hope they tour all over the place and then come back again in London! If you do see it in yr town, highly recommends! ❤
Hi Samurai Matcha ! What a great video you did, i just have a question, the "Cinema Orion" show little movie but is there english subtitles or it's only in japanese ? Arigatou gosaimasu ;)
What an amazing experience! I love Ghibli universe too. It would be nice if you could make a review of some of the Ghibli's movies. I mean, there are so many unexplained characters to me... who is non-face to you? And Totoro? Why is Porco Rosso a pig?...
So awesome thank you for sharing!! I'm an animation major, this place looks so fun! Haha. I thought of a question while watching regarding minimalism, when you purchase something that comes in a box, do you always throw the box away? Or keep it in case you want to give or sell the whole product later? 🤔 I always struggle with that one.. on one hand I appreciate fancy packaging but on the other it makes me feel horrible throwing it away lol
Hey! Sebastien! Yes, especially indoors . You don't have to wear it outside, but many Japanese still wear it... This is so weird for me. This is why I think Japanese is easily brainwashed....
I'm going in November does this mean I am able to shop in the store before I enter the warehouse? I thought I could only shop at the warehouse shop once i entered at my selected time. I really want that tote bag :/
Oh could you answer my quetion!!? I bought tickets for me and my boyfriend, but the tickets have my name on them, should I have made a different purchase with his name on them?
Dear Samurai Macha, please pleaseeee please make a video of reaction to the movie Memoirs of Geisha 🙏 🥹 I think the movie was great for spreading awareness about Japan and helped more people to discover Japanese culture. After watching the Memoirs of Geisha I fell in love with the mysterious culture. I don’t understand too harsh criticism of the movie,. Yes there are many inaccuracies, but the movie still managed to become the favourite movie for millions of people. My only concern is the fact they didn’t film japanese actresses and instead filmed chinese actress, which is inaccurate. would love to hear your opinion please 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹🥹
Great plan for Ghibli Park! Thank you for taking us along. You did a good job resisting all of those amazing souvenirs 😆
I only discovered Ghibli last year; so glad I did - unique and whimsical ... 🙂
I can’t wait to visit Japan ありがとうございます✌🏼🌱💚
Studio Ghibli is one of the best memories I have of my time in Japan. Absolutely magical!
Today I decided to wear my Totoro sweater after collecting dust in my closet for months. And today this video came out. It made me smile :D

Those talented artists, their minds were amazing with these stories in their heads. Amazing! Classic legends! Wow! Awesome!

Aki felt personally offended when there was no matcha 🤣
Haha! Yes!
a café in Japan and no matcha option….? What’s the point

Would love to visit that someday! That looked really fun!
