I don't as yet own an "Exotic" but I do own a very nice Jeep Rubicon. It was fun to teach my wife how to drive it off road and it brought us closer together now she can take her turn at the wheel on our long "treks" and to be honest I think she likes the idea of getting behind the wheel and driving to the out of way places our Jeep can take us.

Love this guy's outlook, attitude, and his discourse in general and among this subject. I've had blessings flipping cars and although it's stressful at times, when I find one I want to keep and say "just one more", I've really found a way to let her understand and appreciate both the process, the outcome, and the culture of it in itself. Awesome guy.
Ed, ThatDudeInBlue, and Randy Pobst have to be some of my favorite people that tell stories on this channel. It's great to see ThatDudeInBlue on the show after watching his UA-cam channel before watching him here. I was surprised when I first saw that he had a story video on this channel and I was extremely excited to watch that video. Same with Randy, although I know who he is from watching RoadKill on the Motor Trend UA-cam channel!

Funny I just stumbled on this video after being subbed to VINwiki for awhile. While I don't have a super car or even close. I just bought a 17 Mustang this last year which I love. It's my first sporty car and I spent a good amount of time on it. I realized last night though that I rarely take my wife in the car. So I decided to take my car out over our Jeep to run errands. Within the first half mile she mentioned "You know its only the third time I've been in this car." I got a sense of disappointment in myself and even sadness. I immediately realized her disinterest in the car was because I hadn't involved her in my passion for it... A kin to the "happy wife happy life" you have to actively involve your wife in things that make you happy.
Ed is the only person to have the balls to shrewdly negotiate with an angry wife and is still alive to tell the tale

My girlfriend probably likes performance cars more then I do, sure those are GM performance cars, but she understands the culture and has her own ambitions with them. This has put me in a position where if I can afford any car I want to own, she doesn't mind at all :D

When I am looking for a new sports car... the 1st thing I do is find one for her, sell her on that...then slip mine in with it... usually results in 2 new cars in the driveway..... there are worse things in life then that... lol
