@T100 it's shrewd negotiation and sometimes it's better to get rid of some stuff except putting money and time into it for sake of business.

In this video he states that given the depression, the rapper's inability to pay the bill and the shortage of demand for the vehicle he knew he could push him to low a price. Some vehicles were going for $80k. He later sold it for a $20k profit.

Love the story! A nearly identical spec car almost killed me one day. Gentlemen came into the shop and wanted a nav system installed, ‘‘twas the first time I had seen a Ferrari in real life and I got to drive it into the shop after a little education on how the clutch system worked. Needless to say my day was going great, upon picking up his car, seeing my enthusiasm he asked if I wanted ride. It wasn’t until we were doing around 140mph weaving in and out of cars through downtown Nashville that he pulled a bottle of vodka out of his pocket and took a big swig. Interestingly I wasn’t scared until that moment, at first I just thought this is how you drive when you have a Ferrari lol

I have a few cool car stories Ed. I bought two ferrari 360 here in Puerto Rico for very cheap and other exotics.
Through six degrees of separation rules all US Super cars some how trace back to T-Pain.

Could get lost here, but you have to give big props to that former rapper for being responsible with the car, taking it to get maintained, being man enough to recognize you don't have the cash to properly take care of it, and making an immediate effort to get the car in the hands of someone who can afford the maintenance and title.

I love the 360 Modena. Although the F355 was what made me love Ferrari as a kid. But the 360 to me was the start of modern Ferrari. It doesn’t need engine out service. And it’s a very nice car and sounds amazing still with a Tubi or Capristo. I still want one tbh. Who cares about the speed when you look and sound that good.

Yeah theirs something special about those 360 modena's, as it was the first ferrari I ever saw in my life back in 99, and that silhouette from the side is just beautiful, plus it really says something when the ratarossa guy who's had countless ferrari's has chosen a 360 stradale as the one to keep.

Love this guy, but his whole concept of being "broke" absolutely shocks me!! He is a very nice guy and extremely humbling but jesus being broke is not being able to feed your children and having bills coming out your ears that you cant pay and living in lock down with no work at all......... George H Gordy the way Ed buys cars is smart, he buys cars under the market value, fixes it, and then is able to sell them for a profit
@@henrycollins2478 and I have to but what I'm trying to tell you is something even Ed would tell you. And that is it's all a Gamble. Nothing is ever a sure thing when it comes to dealing with pretty much anything not just cars
I'm not saying this to be mean to you but to educate you because life experiences hasn't taught you this yet but it will. When you bet on something to pay off and you think it's a sure thing a lot of the times it will but some of the times it won't even when you think it's 100% done deal something will still happen and you'll feel burnt on the deal. It always happens to everybody. It's happened to me it's happened to Ed it'll happen to you it just happens. That's why it's called Murphy's Law. Anything that can go wrong will go wrong

Great interview I'm not much into the LED but im starting to understand that it's something different and just because I'm not into LED it's still a very cool and nice way of building your car I give through LED Lamborghini cure a big tums UP.

Wow I remember that I was 11 when the 360 came out, and I totally disliked the look! Even back then, I was like this has nothing on the 308GTB or the GTO. Fast forward 20 years later, I still think the same. Later when the Enzo came out it blew my mind, but the GTB is my fave since I saw it in Magnum P.I.
