Biography highlights newsworthy personalities and events with compelling and surprising points-of-view, telling the true stories from some of the most accomplished non-fiction storytellers of our time.
My wife's Nan is French, we saw her today for her 101st birthday. She was 5 years old when Monet passed away, and her older sister was 7 (also still alive), which blows my mind when I think Monet was born in 1840, and they had the potential to have crossed paths.
Document their stories while you still can my friend. A person's personal history and story is most amazing it only takes someone to listen
Good advice. I was told to write mine (memoires, I guess). It may seem insignificant, but it can add important details to others history by linking events, places, and time.
It's fascinating how we are all important...
Rest in peace my favorite painter 🙏

Just saw the "Beyond Monet" exhibit in Toronto, absolutely breathtaking ♥️
Wow this is amazing and so creative of Monet!
He is so precise about what he’s painting about and he shows it very clearly like you’d see what he is trying to paint. The paintings have so much passion in them and their so realistic and beautiful!😍👍

taking notes and I dont know what "rather well off " means at the part where they talk about monet's fathers bank
Parents (father in those days) were rich, Monet (most likely) didn't need anything that money could buy, he just got it... kind of what well-off means.
@@ThinkerTinker74Monet's father had money - and didn't use it to help his son. He provided funds at first, but never approved of the whole "Art thing." When Claude Monet fell in love with a servant, he was cut off. Even after they had a child and got married, Monet was still on his own. His money problems went on for many years - thanks to his father.
3:21 gorgeous
Until then. : )
Now you know how that feels about you 😢😢😢😢😢😢😮
"Don'tcha y'all know 'Japan' when you see it?" "Tao[r] Tower" i.e. "negative infinity." Japan is Ja which is Jobe; soul less monkies. One and only keys to what? "D" is for descension says The Dane. O, the "Satanic loopering" says "the Mastadoñé." - Gall Goidil (GW)
