I have weird problems in my mr9. After the injector replacement it has had so many problems. At the first few wires had cut then the fuel filter leaked air and now it starts cold just fine but shuts down when the engine is getting warmer. About after 10 minutes. The Camshaft sensor, turbo solenoid, and turbo intake sensor are changed. No more air in the fuel system. Just wondering what comes active when the engine is warm?

The best scan tool for a Renault Trafic is a can clip. You can buy them off Ebay.
When a error code comes up the ECU stores it keeps it to memory.
With the can clip you connect it to the OBD then a laptop and go in the software and it will tell you the faults that have come up.
Other Scan tools wont usually show any codes that have come up unless its a real expensive scan tool then Mabey it will.
Can Clip is made for Renault you can do a whole bunch of test and see the readings etc.
The Sensor underneath the engine at the back is the crankshaft Position Sensor.
The Sensor on top of the engine under the air filter box is the camshaft sensor.
The crankshaft position sensor monitors as a multifunctional sensor used to set ignition timing, detect engine RPM.
The camshaft position sensor is used to determine which cylinder is firing to synchronize the injector firing sequence.
They Are Both Important Sensors they both send readings to the ECU
If Some Sensor is faulty usually a yellow light comes on with lines the glow plug light and service light its electrical like a sensor.

Why did you change this sensor? Is it because the engine is running late or the car takes a long time to turn?

Hi mate, I have the lights on the my dash, with the coil, and symbol with car light up, would I need to change the camshaft sensor like the video, and maybe the glowplugs?
And would I need to plug into the computer to wipe off memory?
    Thank you, bud

Hi.what year model vivaro is in the video here? I heard that in order to replace camshaft sensor for vivaro 2001-2013, you need to get under the van and replace the sensor from underneath. Please explain if you can. Thanks

Engine won’t kick into life just died :( 61 plate vivaro ... is it worth replacing crank sensor as a maybe??
Is it as easy as this vid ?? Or do you have to go from underneath like a comment said above??
    Thanks in advance

Mechanics and "maybe" usually mean one single thing... A lot of money! ;-)
Save yourself the trouble and get a proper diagnostic from a reputable professional. You'll save some money and a lot of time. Instead of trowing random parts in the believe it will go away.
Regarding the second part you've just watched the video!! Come on!

    • @Anakin1990Skywalker
      @Anakin1990Skywalker 5 років тому +4

Disrupted Driving and offcourse the dashlight. But you have to read the code with a diagnose. It's like 40 Pounds(diagnose).
Another symptom of a failing camshaft sensor is experiencing constant disruption while driving. If you are experiencing symptoms like frequent stalling, poor idling of the car at 500 to 600 rpms, a massive drop in the rpms slowing down the car to a crawl, a noticeable drop in engine power, poor mileage, abnormal acceleration activity, frequent stumbling, etc., it probably means you have a failing camshaft sensor that needs immediate attention. If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, it is best to seek a mechanic before the situation gets worse and the car gives up, refusing to start at all.

@@TravelistUK I had that issue and I had a camshaft sensor code but that wasn't the fault. I was losing fuel pressure. Under the bonnet the should be a hand priming pump. It's a rubber bulb type primer. Squeeze it repeatedly until its firm then start. Also handy to have someone squeezing while your cranking.
