Plastic Pinion vs Aluminum Pinion. Is There A Difference?

Statistically the difference is zero. I'm shocked, plastic sure does sound smoother in real life on the track.

Plastic is a softer and smoother material. Example, rub two smooth pieces of aluminum together, then two smooth pieces of plastic together. The plastic will move with less resistance.

Only issue is when the motor gets hot the kv goes up and amp draw drops.
